Carbon Fibre Flying Wing UAV Maiden Flight

Finally - My M.Eng Dissertation displayed its maiden flight at Aston Down Airfield North-East of Bristol. The design started as a sketch on paper and took about 1,5 years to this stage. The development and manufacturing was evaluated throughout, including the very successful test-flight of a prototype of 1.2m wingspan, which was of great support for accumulating stability data and performance figures.You are looking at a highly capable, long-endurance UAV.

I like the music and I like the aircraft. 8 lbs is pretty light considering the size, well done.
My dream is to build a life sized version of a carbon flying wing with a bunch of high rpm quadcopter motors/props so I can ride it and maybe engineer it for fast acceleration. I foresee the biggest obstacle being a smooth landing without killing myself.
Did you design the body with airfoil shape to create lift or is it just flat wings?
