Often times I put on an audiobook and just slow stitch a piece of fabric. It’s so relaxing and calming.

I love slow stitching! I have to agree with you on all points about slow stitching. Except one. Everytime someone says, "slow stitching is so relaxing". Years of stitching I've felt numerous things, but relaxed isn't one of them. I do think it's relaxing to watch others stitch. I guess fabric just excites me too much. 😁 Am I wired wrong or are their other excitable stitchers?

Sometimes it can be exciting too, when a project is working well and coming together - so much happiness! 😃🧵🪡

My hardest thing is separating the floss into 2-3 strands. I gave up the other day.

They want to stay together don't they? I find taking 1 at a time so much easier then put the threads back together for threading.
