Lesson learned: if you have Alessia-level tactics and you're facing a 1200, you can play whatever opening you want.

Alex is an expert in all those London setups, I'd suggest to contact him to teach you the Jobava London, which is the aggressive way to play the london system and it suits your playing style more as well. He did a collab with Andrea Botez in the past so i think he would be willing to work with you too :))

Alex is a great teacher. One thing he does is that he builds memorization rules around his strategies making very easy to remember the major plans. Another is that he organizes his speed runs based on openings. It's something not many streamers do but it is very interesting for the viewer. Your recent speed runs were also amazing. You could also make collections of the same openings during a speed run when a speed run is complete. Watching them is very interesting because someone can compare how the patterns become more complex as the level of difficulty increases and watch how the same player adapts to it.

The first game was an Anti London setup with black that Levy kinda proposed, it was he who made that type of setup kinda common with Nc6, f6, Bg5, and aiming for e5, there is no major weakness on the e8-h5 diagonal as we can always play g6 if the queen tries to infiltrate and the e5 pawn is protected by the Knight on c6, you should have played h3 earlier on the game before black gets the opportunity to play Bg5 which would have prevented further complications and we could have continued the game with the usual London Setup.
Anyways, great video and I hope you have a positive perspective about the London Setup :) wishing you the best of luck and much love from India.

I think in the third game you took on e5 with the knight instead of the pawn. You did win because of your opponent’s blunders - but that’s what opponents do! Especially when they are ahead!! The best example of these games was not so much the London - Alex’s videos are great - it’s not to give up when you make a mistake.

Gotham is a bad teacher... though he knows much.... he is going way to fast for intermediate players (round 1500). Alex takes more time to explain. Thát makes him the better teacher and not necessarily the best player.

Based on Alex's introduction, he hasn't seen the Chessable course "Crush the London." The London system is White's attempt to equalize in the opening. Alex, be more ambitious!
