Oh hell yes. Thanks for these tutorials my dude, they've been very helpful in getting me into the game. My friends group still don't want to play the game because of one factor they've heard people complain about on steam, namely, forced pvp. We keep hearing about no-life losers parking themselves in a region, and pvping all the lower level players, preventing them from playing the game. Is this true, and if so, how bad is the forced pvp?
It definitely happens from time to time. It'll happen to you as you become higher level because you become a more valuable target for goods and notoriety. I've been ambushed maybe a a dozen times in my career playing and I would say half those times I was given back my stuff (mostly) by the pvp pirate because he doesn't want my gear just the fame and the red text above his name
@@ChuckThunder Yeah, there's no way in hell they'd go for that. Oh well, I'll just keep playing solo for now. It is a shame, because were it not for that, I could absolutely see this game being popular with the Patrician/Port Royale crowd. Thanks for the quick reply!
@@null_subject I think your potential to be pvped is incredibly low but it will happen at least a few times. But no one will continuously pirate you because there is no incentive
