The concert is in Romania, Bucharest, the name of the building is "Casa Poporului" is the 3th biggest building in the world, Gheorghe Zamfir is the God of pan flute, no one will be better than him, he hold concerts all around the world he is known as the pan flute God!

Beautiful recording, I had the pleasure of André Rieu concert in Budasapest in 2017. Ehz the recording was made during their tour of Romania they are in the main square of Bucarest, the presidential palace is that building
André invited George Zamfir to perform in the Netherlands (Maastricht) with another recording

That CD ur dad had, its a very big chance it was Maestro Zamfir singing on that CD, and its also the soundtrack of "Kill Bill"
BTW, that concert its in Romania (3rd world country, as many ppl think it is...) - Bucharest, the building is the Palace of Parliament

@@thenephilim9819 We know very well James Last. He referred that the concert is in Romania, because teacher Paul thought that this was in Nederlands! In fact, for the first time in the 70s, Gheorghe Zamfir sang the piece together with James Last's orchestra. Anyway, the song seems to have been composed especially for the Romanian soul and we thank you for that!
