Key fob programming PATS button Ford F-150 2000 XLT

With the door open and unlocked place your key in the ignition and put it in the ON position.
Find and press the button for the PATS for 15 seconds, it will chirp 3 times.
Press the lock button on your key fob, it will chirp once letting you know it has been programmed.
Remove your key and test your fob.
This is just what worked for me, if this does not work for you check your damn manuel.

It’s because you have an aftermarket alarm. That’s why that button is installed and you can’t program different remotes.

Can you program the remote if the horn don’t work?

I have the same system but it will go into program mode and will chirp with the remote but will not work... any ideas

How about without power locks? I had a lock smith come. I had him make me two new keys but he said he couldn't program them cause my started was out & the moment.... And now his business is closed in KS and he move to another state what can I do?????

What are those 2 brown wires connected to?

NicaRuso13 it goes to a non factory, but dealer installed ford vehicle Security System Module.
