If anybody's watching this I bought a Ford pickup truck but I also had had a wrecked Ford van so I had a bunch of these Ford key fobs hanging around. I did it twice just like the video said and it didn't do it. I thought I was turning the key pretty fast at times but I did it real fast the third time and it worked like a champ. Thank you very much. Now I got a whole bunch of programed key fobs just in case.

Thanks. Mine is acting weird. I get my remote to sync(Door locks and unlocks when I press the button on both new remotes)….. but then my door locks don’t respond after setup….. I keep pressing the unlock button on each remote and the panic alarm triggers 😵💫🤔…. Changed the batteries and keep doing the setup and it keeps doing the same thing 😩

I read the instructions and did it and it didn't seem to work... But for reason doing it along with your video it worked! Got my broken fob that came with the used vehicle plus the two I ordered online for like 10 bucks. ... So much better than my BMW keys cost couple hundred dollars lol.
This was great, but even though I had both my fobs with me when I did the reprograming procedure only the one which didn't work is now working. The original working one lost its program and I can't get it to take a new one. I have repeated the process multiple times, swapped batteries, changed the location of the fobs in the vehicle, etc., and I can't get the other one to work again. Not that big of deal though, the other fob is my wife's.
The fobs will remember more than one code. I have a fob that opens a f150 and a explorer. The fob originally was for the explorer but I had 3 fobs for it so I programmed one for my f150, now that fob works for both vehicles. ++
What if the original one got lost, would i still need the original? Or could I just buy an after market one right off the bat and sync it without the old one?
If you have your owner's manual, this is described in much greater detail. Doors must be unlocked with the door switch and cycling the ignition switch has to be done in less than 10 sec.
Thanks, I did have to do it relatively fast for the 8 count. Took 3 tries, I was starting to sweat because my ignition key no longer opens the door haha

I have a 2004 F150. I had to shut the door after unlocking it in order for the 8 ignition turns to start the lock\unlock programming event.
09 F150 same here. Worked flawlessly once I closed door

He did mention door open and unlocked. What he didnt say is keep foot on brake

I had the same issue. I was able to fix by cycling a bit faster the next go round.
