- The initial checkout of a Uniden DECT1060-2 DECT cordless phone with Caller Identification from 2006. This is a very rare model, which I have never seen out in the wild before and only once or twice on the second-hand market. It has a number of interesting features and customization options not found on any of Uniden's other common models. Despite these additional features and Uniden's long-standing reputation for quality phones, the overall performance of this unit doesn't seem quite up to par with many of the other Uniden models I've worked with.
The date may be in the DD/MM/YY format. That and the 24hr clock makes me believe this software wasn’t designed for the US first.
He should've entered 31/07/23.
Probably, the software is also different.
I should've scrolled down and seen your comment. I agree this is likely what occurred here.
@techwithtyler20 That very well could be the case.
It’s hilarious, because the it says Uniden America everywhere on the box, and on the phone.
i have never heard this version of the ringer flicker on any uniden phone but I like it
Thanks for letting me know.
It's very cool! 😎
It's very warm!
Amazing video! Keep up the great work! I've actually seen an expansion handset of this phone in the thrift store, and I assumed it could also work with the DECT1580, since it's a DECT6.0. But I found out that Uniden phones sometimes don't work, even if they have the same frequency, they also need to have the same software. I learned that while ago when I was trying to register a DXAI8580 to a DXI5586-2. Anyways, thank you for your time and have a nice day!
Also, in addition to my message, this phone is really interesting! The software and key-tones are different (especially the key-tones are like old Panasonic phones). It seems also that the Date&Time is also in a different format, the clock is 24-hour format, and the date is DD/MM/YY. This usually reminds me of non-US or UK sets.
@@user-uy6xi9bs2v Yes, like UK or Middle Eastern/South Asian Panasonic sets.
Thanks
@@JordanU You’re very welcome!
Love the Design. I usually prefer the typical standard Uniden Ringtones but that's just me I'm guessing
Thanks for letting me know.
Do they still make Uniden at all? What one that has Xmas, Star Spangle, and Fur Elise ringtones are the best ones to have right now! Multi-Color red and gray ones are wearing out!
They’ve stop making Uniden phones after 2012 unfortunately.
@@brandonbutchart5576 Thank You, I found Brand new 2080-5 Phone to replace broken button one anyway, have A good night!
I believe Uniden still makes phones in several other countries. They no longer sell in the US.
I love the design of it
Thanks for letting me know.
That’s unfortunate that it’s uncommon. I love that design.
Thanks for letting me know.
Are you sure the date format you were typing in is correct? I wonder if it could be DD/MM/YY and not MM/DD/YY.
Perhaps that's the case.
I wonder if this phone will register to the DCX-150 set?
I wouldn't expect it to register to anything besides itself. The operating system appears to be quite unique.
can you do an initial checkout of the Panasonic kx-tg7431 series please, please
If you'd like to provide one, sure.
@@JordanUI have one of those KX-TG7432Bs the Jordan.
@aarondunn1489 ok
@JordanU I wanted you to do an initial checkout of those because you looked and another telephone with a long screen and did an initial checkout of that telephone.
Cool I had one of those phones
OK

Behind the front.

@@elliottsimmons9024 Thanks for letting him or her know.
25:05 There is a spelling mistake, it says "Sel Language".
Sel = Select
@@techwithtyler20 Exactly, it is an abbreviation. 🙂
@@techwithtyler20OK
@@PRIVATECALLER06 There is no spelling mistake.
