    I nearly nailed it. Ik its been 8 months but nearly nailed it. Anymore tips on how to kick harder?

    • @JoiningAllMovement
      @JoiningAllMovement  3 года назад +4

      Just have to continue to practice the move itself, or work on kicking hard on tornado kicks and then use the same force when attempting this. 540 requires a good amount of explosiveness and technique to land perfectly

    And sorry for asking too many questions bit tips on tilting ur torso a bit backwards?

    • @JoiningAllMovement
      @JoiningAllMovement  4 года назад +1

      Tilting is all determined when driving your first knee up for takeoff. The direction of that drive determines whether it’s straight up or leaned back

    Tips on cart trip?

    • @JoiningAllMovement
      @JoiningAllMovement  4 года назад +4

      Make sure you can land your double full beyond consistently and with your chest up. Then continue setting timers where you increase the rotation, or utilize a foam pit or level resi pit for added safety during attempts. Many also find it’s helpful to practice them on trampoline, not just traditional back full technique but taking off like an aerial twist setup so that it replicates the takeoff from Cart Full. Stay tight, squeeze not just your legs together, but everything from arms, core, butt, ankles etc

      Whichever step you’re stuck at, continue drilling that part. Then film your attempts in slow motion if possible and compare them to the steps listed and make sure everything is correct. Lastly this move requires a lot of hip abductor strength which you may need to continue to build over time. And if all else fails, come take a class or book a private lesson with one of our coaches!

    Btw tips on straightning ur kicking leg?

    • @JoiningAllMovement
      @JoiningAllMovement  4 года назад +1

      Drill your tornado kick with the kick form that you would like, for straight leg a crescent kick is usually used as the roundhouse includes a chamber, kick, and rechambering. Executing it with a straight leg in 540 will require maximum height, and make sure not to drag the leg straight from the ground, pump your knees and then extend

    • @JoiningAllMovement
      @JoiningAllMovement  2 года назад

      Not currently! But we suggest continuing to do plyometric cross training, or just continuing to practice the moves themselves. Over time you’ll continue to build the right muscles!
