    Hi, great vid. Does d pick up truck got better stability than d green long cabin ? Also, how does these compared to d FMS FJ Cruiser same scale ? Thx

      FJ Cruiser does have very poor capabilities (check this ruclips.net/video/7k0oFrYx1v8/видео.html - place 37 out of 47 trucks tested so far, ranking here: ruclips.net/video/5DUfFUEhDjw/видео.html ), but I assume, MN111 will be even worse because of the super heavy metal body.
      Yes, pickup is more capable than the cabin version, can climb steeper inclines (but did not measure degrees yet). But pickup is not yet available as kit, only RtR with poor electronics.
      I am actually finishing some mods on my cabin/kit version (servo/steering, shocks, batteries, weight) and probably post a short video about this today or tomorrow, and then let kit/cabin modified and pickup/RtR do a MCCT - then we will know ;-)
      FMS FJ Cruiser 1/18 radio/ESC are way better than MN111 RtR electronics.

    Love your reviews of the MN111, thanks for that! Which motor would you recommend for these?

    • @donaldsneffe
      @donaldsneffe  7 месяцев назад +1

      Try the Injora TRX-4M motor. I bought it for the MN111, but so far did not modify it ("shelf queen" ;-) ).

      @donaldsneffe haha, same... it's so good looking, I'd hate to scratch it! Thanks again!
      Any plans to do an MCCT video on these? Maybe your modded version vs. the RTR model would be interesting.

      @@TT_R89 That is why I bought the Injora motor for my kit version. Did already plan to do an MCCT episode with both last year, ... and then did not (and did some others).
      This is why I did not yet give away the black Defender... (plan for MCCT). We will see, MCCT is soooooo much work, I do already know MN111s will be amongst last in ranking, and actually I am very RUclips lazy, additionally summer is coming, we will see ;-)
      If those MN111 would perform very well, I probably would already have made an MCCT last year.

      @donaldsneffe thanks for all the details! Totally understand all your points there.
      It's a nice-looking car but perhaps not the best performing as you say. Probably for the better, to keep the aesthetics clean and scale! I'm running mine stock in my living room 😅 with a safe carpet to fall on in case it tips over.
      Anyway. Thanks!

      @@TT_R89 Yes, more shelf queens or toys.
      Do you have the black pickup? If yes, did it come with turning light lenses (front left and right side)? Mine did not.
      Maybe I'll do somewhen, if, then I would do a lot of trucks (filming), ... but since I did not buy all the new trucks out yet (the new Hobby Plus, Furitek, Redcat, ...), I postponed this.
      MCCT is so time consuming (one MCCT episode with 2 trucks needs probably 10 - 20 times more time to do than a "simple" video such as for example this one here). Redcat is unfortunately not available here in Europe (not any more), if it would be available, I probably would have bought it, made an MCCT episode and (filming several trucks at the same time is time saving) also an episode of the MN111s.
      CR-18 Pros, 2 versions... did nearly already buy those after release (Asiatees), ... if Banggood or FairRC would sell those, I would already have those and MCCT, ... the new Furitek... quite expensive... and already videos out of the "usual channels", ... so not really big interest to spend ucho a lot of money for a truck I do not need... only for MCCT.
      As already said, actually quite YT-lazy, was travelling, and YT and microcrawlers are a kind of "down".
      Only promo videos, YT killed it, and also "professional" channels, which are done by agencies and/or buy subscribers and views (such as Cape Crawlers and Hof's place). My subscription feed actually is nearly "emty" every day, most channels have stopped, 2FM, MiniRC, and the professionals/paid Cape Crawlers and now Hof's place and some newer channels, which only seem to do promo, too.
      If only the companies would stop to send their new trucks to reviewers weeks before release date to do videos, this would already help... many more channels then again would do reviews etc. of newly released models.

    Nice review.
    I just ordered a rtr pick-up one as it can't be ordered as a kit version. Later I will order a green kit.
    The electronics looks poor quality. I plan to change the electronics.
    I have WPL res V3 and a FMS MG41 + R4A1 at home.
    Wich one would you use in the MN-111 ?

    • @donaldsneffe
      @donaldsneffe  Год назад +1

      Do not have the WPL, but the FMS (Flysky) run awesome, so I would use those. A buddy from crawler-forum uses this combo in his MN111 (but still did not finish the super detailed build process). Nearly wanted to order the WPL 15 A ESC from BG today, people say, it is very good.

      @@daniels_199 Ja, schau mal irgendwo halt ich den Capo Cub1 daneben - typische 1/18 Größe. Nur die sind etwas hoch, die MN111 - und kannst bezüglich Achsen- etc. Qualität nicht unbedingt mit Hobby Plus, FMS oder TX vergleichen.

    Thank you for this review. The green color suits better than the black, to my eyes.
    The transmitter looks very low quality, the motor, very noisy and the ESC can hardly run this heavy car on low speed on obstacles.
    The best choice should be the kit version. The saved money can go to a better electronic as you did for your green Defender.
