doesnt take a ton of money if you have patience. i have a setup that probably rivals his but i accumulated and upgraded over a loooooong time. i say rivals, but my cable management is a mess.
It's just one. He has everything linked to Amazon regardless of Ikea selling those for $79US usually. They're on sale for $67.15 if you have an IKEA in your city.
This dude is seriously under rated. Frank has better quality than most RUclipsrs with way more subs than he does. I love and enjoy your content Frank, please keep up the good work.
Its actually most likely a cell phone. It could also be a bluetooth or wifi device of any kind as well. Radio signals can penetrate non-balanced microphone cables, and looks like he caught it on recording.
I have been with this channel since maybe 80k subs. Its great to have seen this channel grow so much. You have always had such great content frank. Great job!
This is the sickest setup I've seen on RUclips. Really dig that Karlby kitchen countertop, it has such a clean natural finish. Just ordered a standing desk - MIGHT be sending it back and picking up a KARLBY kitchen counter top tho.
he games on one monitor. i think he said the bottom one on the right, but that would bug the hell outta me personally. id probably use the center top one if that wouldnt be hard on the neck after a bit. what he needs to do is get one more monitor to have on the bottom in the middle. the option of extended screens would be there but if not at least there would be a screen with no bezel in the center right in front of you.
I've been watching ur videos and I really love your ur setup and cable management. Your videos r really professionally recorded and ur equipment are right for the part. U deserve more than just 447k subscribers. Hope you reach 1 million subscribers soon...
Thank you for the great setup motivation -Where is your desk lamp from? -Also can you explain where you installed each of the lights: RGB Light Strip, cablemodLEDS Desk Backlighting
Im a huge fan of the triple monitor in a row type setups but your dual ultrawides with another on top is sick. Exactly what I'm wanting to do when Im able to upgrade. Good job man.
I bought a revolt pc for christmas. RUclipsd some reviews of it and found you're channel, you're setup has inspired me to make something awesome. thanks dude :P
Skovfo-Ged He did a lot of DIY, not to sound rude but you've either don't have a good setup or really didn't think about it before you said it. I've seen people with setups that probably cost 2x as much as his and I'm sure you have too. People who don't understand things will have a very plane themed, horrible cable management, lack of organization, etc. it takes time to learn how to make a good setup lmfao again no offence but really money doesn't make a good setup it's just funny to think about all those people with shitty setups that cost 10s of thousands of dollars.
i mean, i have no problems with cable management, my cables are routered nicly along the back of my table, but thats about it my setup isnt anything special, but for me to build anything on level with what he is doing, the only problem i have, would be the money,
Skovfo-Ged exactly, its not like its hard to learn how to do it, it just takes patience and attention to detail, some people just don't care enough to put the work in to make it look great.
Skovfo-Ged yea, but not everyone is comfortable with cables. A lot of these setups people have to renovate their houses by hiding the cables through the wall and if you ever actually wall mounted multiple screens to a wall you'd actually know how long and difficult it is, yeah when you see a video it looks easy but anyone who does knows its pretty difficult and time consuming. Just wondering fi you actually seen his video on that. his desk is also DIY'd as not everything came from IKEA and his table top is actually a wooden table counter. I'm just saying things like that most people wouldn't think of nor would they want to go through all that. I'm not saying money isn't a factor but it's probably not as big as a factor as you think. I've seen plenty of budget setups that really look amazing because people had time and experience.
It looks like they're nailed to the top of the cabinets, but not underneath the desk top.... so then the desk top wouldn't be very stationary. I'm also wondering how he managed that?
Love that Smart LaMetric Clock. Was little shocked, when i saw that this cool devise is from my town. Hello from Ukraine, Lviv) І багато львів'ян знати про цей годинник? Я випадково на нього натрапив тут.
absolutely love your set up man, very classy. so much so that I bought the exact desk you have (only a smaller version of the worktop). maybe you'll be seeing it submitted to your room tour project shortly!
Well done genius - you installed the capita legs upside-down. (Should be screwed into underneath of counter-top with rubber feet resting on the surface of Alex drawer top!)
Are you dumb? First of all, these aren't the Capita legs. Second - if you actually took time to watch his videos before criticising you'd know he did that on purpose so he can move the actual desktop around if he needs to instead of moving it with the feet.
I've been advised that the IKea countertop should not be used without their kitchen cabinets supporting it? You've had it for 7 months now, hows it holding up? I was hoping to mount a monitor on it with a clamp at the back so maybe a bit heavier in the middle of the desk, But IKEA said I should not drill into this counter to screw on some legs, thoughts? (I know you drilled a hole earlier in the video no problem).
I really like the geometric stickers. Though I do wish you used a custom built pc and not an ibuypower one. I just think as a tech youtuber you should custom build your pc. But it's your setup not mine. Love your videos!
I am considering doing the exact same setup in my new house. Love the white and wood combo. I do however have a question. I have the HP Omen 900 desktop with a Samsung 34" CF791, Corsair K95 Premium keyboard, MM800 RGB mouse pad, and M65 Pro RGB mouse. Do you feel the Karlby desk on the steel legs can carry the weight of my desktop on top of it?
Frank, what did you use to keep the underside of the IKEA countertop from sliding around on top of those little desk legs (that are screwed on onto the ALEX drawers)? Did you use sticky tape, glue, or something else for grip? Really nice set up, btw!!
How do you like those legs? I bought these after watching your videos and noticed they aren't extremely sturdy. I also have the all wood version of your desk in 74", not sure how these will hold up, have you had any issues with them?
if i would just have money.... this is awesome
doesnt take a ton of money if you have patience. i have a setup that probably rivals his but i accumulated and upgraded over a loooooong time. i say rivals, but my cable management is a mess.
I have money, but I still don't feel like investing it all on my rig / desk.
Does anybody know if the Alex drawers he linked come with one Alex drawer or a pair of them?
Maybe two, because at my IKEA, in Holland, 1 drawer costs €60 I think.
At 7:14 what is that noise in the back
thought my new headset was broken. instantly went to the comments. pfeww
thought my headphones were broken too
headphones got ddos
Its actually most likely a cell phone. It could also be a bluetooth or wifi device of any kind as well. Radio signals can penetrate non-balanced microphone cables, and looks like he caught it on recording.
OngoingTech yea lol Im using a 2i2 1st gen with some HD 598s
His setup is more expensive than my car
his setups more expensive than my house ;(
Hell no i highly doubt that shit
He paid like 15-20k
But a house generally costs more.
You're broke as shit then. I don't know what to say
Frank's that guy who would put RGB'S on his Grandma lmao
bruh
Have you ever seen MarzBar? xD
Vebjørn Lohne Thronsen marzbar squad 👌
Yaya
Griation Oh hey Dylan haha
I have been with this channel since maybe 80k subs. Its great to have seen this channel grow so much. You have always had such great content frank. Great job!
When someone asks you to choose between multi monitors or widescreens
Multi monitors has always been my favourite
TeamDuoYT - Gaming Widescreens
TeamDuoYT - Gaming I wish I had that issue
This is the sickest setup I've seen on RUclips. Really dig that Karlby kitchen countertop, it has such a clean natural finish.
Just ordered a standing desk - MIGHT be sending it back and picking up a KARLBY kitchen counter top tho.
How do you play games with a bezel in the middle?
Krazytoneride He said in a previous video that he uses one monitor for gaming and the other one has either the stream when he's streaming or twitter.
krazytoneride he only games on 1 monitor
that can't be good for his neck...
he games on one monitor. i think he said the bottom one on the right, but that would bug the hell outta me personally. id probably use the center top one if that wouldnt be hard on the neck after a bit. what he needs to do is get one more monitor to have on the bottom in the middle. the option of extended screens would be there but if not at least there would be a screen with no bezel in the center right in front of you.
He has em on monitor arms, so he can move one of them to the middle and the other one more to the side, so no neck problems.
This setup is insane! I love the the White and Wood effect you have going on, kinda makes my black and blue setup seem dated :(
Dream setup right here bro. Love the white & Black aesthetic!! One day man one day! :)
Man your setup is one of the best I ever saw, You made an EXCELLENT work on it
does anyone also experiencing weird audio static at min 7:30 ish?

"For my speaker system, I have a pair of the Kanto YU5 Studio Monitors"
-Frank 2017
Whats wrong with that?
Pijus Norusis Read it again
You mean Studio monitors?
I assume youre making fun of me, but they're legit called Studio Monitors lmao
Haha that's hilarious! Thanks for the chill reply
Thank you for the great setup motivation
-Where is your desk lamp from?
-Also can you explain where you installed each of the lights:
RGB Light Strip,
cablemodLEDS
Desk Backlighting
Is there a tutorial on how to attach the kitchen leg things under his desk on to the ALEX drawers? I dont want to screw up drilling holes and stuff.
Im a huge fan of the triple monitor in a row type setups but your dual ultrawides with another on top is sick. Exactly what I'm wanting to do when Im able to upgrade. Good job man.
Frank is the guy who would buy an RGB toilet.
Jokes on you: ruclips.net/video/DP5b-n9-Elo/видео.htmlm51s
Crap it's actually real!
Also, that skit part was hilarious!
I bought a revolt pc for christmas. RUclipsd some reviews of it and found you're channel, you're setup has inspired me to make something awesome. thanks dude :P
Great vid, where's your Xbox one?
That's a quality set-up, bloody amazing!
Why not have your viewfinder where your camera is? So it doesn't look like you're looking down all the time
The camera is about 5 feet away from where I sit, and I dont look down on camera I just have it there so I can make sure I'm in focus haha
Love your setup, building a setup like that takes a lot of time and experience
Not really, its just expensive
Skovfo-Ged He did a lot of DIY, not to sound rude but you've either don't have a good setup or really didn't think about it before you said it. how did you fix up those furniture legs between your worktop and alex drawers? please and thank you
he bought the legs and just nailed them into the desk
It looks like they're nailed to the top of the cabinets, but not underneath the desk top.... so then the desk top wouldn't be very stationary. I'm also wondering how he managed that?

Dope video Frank!

This is a gorgeous looking gaming setup.
I wish I'd have one of those too.
How much did it cost you to create it?
Have a nice day!
How do you like those legs? I bought these after watching your videos and noticed they aren't extremely sturdy. I also have the all wood version of your desk in 74", not sure how these will hold up, have you had any issues with them?
