His dad was THE Superman. Let’s face it. He is the standard all the rest try to live up to and never do. Will is gorgeous! Has his dad’s classic bone structure.
Well I'd say a few superhero films have surpassed it already. Like Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 1/2, the MCU's Iron Man, The Dark Knight & that first Avengers movie. 💯
I remember worrying about him after his dad passed away, then, his mom. What a resilient person. I see both his parents in his appearance and mannerism.
I felt the same way when Dana passed so soon after Chris. My first thought honestly was "my God, what is Will going to do?" And then when I thought about what courageous, amazing parents he had, I was comforted with the thought that he was going to be alright.
My Gen Z son saw all of the Superman movies - the Originals and all of the reboots and even he thinks the best Superman was Christopher Reeve. That's saying something.
This is due to his father being the actor who portrayed the human personification of a fictional character in four films starting in 1978. His father has been the most recognizable human representation of Superman for nearly half a century. The thumbnail and pose that drew comparisons to Superman were created deliberately. They were crafted by a professional studio using a photograph of movie's Superman's real-life biological son.
Will's parents Christopher and Dana gave everybody hope and inspired a nation. I'm so glad he and his siblings are finally sharing his story. I couldn't stop tearing up in the theater, I hope everybody is able to see this film. 🙏♥️
I watched the Barbara Walters interview and a few months later I broke my neck and was paralyzed from the neck down. When I was in trauma that I was high level spinal cord injured (C,3-4) it was because of Reeves I knew what it meant. He was my hero too
Tonight, I watched the SuperMan Christopher Reeve Story movie in theaters and the whole theatre was so full. Everyone was there to watch this movie. This was a wonderful movie.
I had always worried about Will after his parents died. I understand his siblings really stepped up. And of course the family he moved in with and anyone else who finished raising him. What a well rounded, charming young man. His parents would be so proud. ❤
His siblings really stepped up for him. Considering they only shared a dad, they were truly wonderful and love him very much. Also they are both quite a bit older than Will.
It’s almost like seeing him again in his son’s smile and voice. Rest in Peace Christopher. Thank you so much for his documentary. I can’t wait to see it. I Loved him Sooo Much in “Somewhere in Time.” What a movie and what a Beautiful Man. Theirs was a wonderful marriage through such through such hard times.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💒💒💒
I used to play racquetball with Christopher (around 2:00pm on Thursdays) at the New York health and Racquet club in midtown. He was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I was a pretty good player, yet after so many matches, I only won one game. It broke my heart when I heard the news of his horrible accident. But he courageously continued his life while inspiring and encouraging those with disabilities, that life can still bring joy and purpose. I think of him often with tremendous respect.
*Losing both parents so young and still finding the strength to carry on and become a successful individual. Now that's a Superman if you ask me! Fair play to the lad!*
Christopher Reeves was everything, handsome, athletic, a wonderful actor. I loved him in Somewhere In Time. His accident and death was as heartbreaking for he, his beautiful wife, his family and all of us as the movie was! As long as we remember he and Dana, they will always be alive in our hearts!
I’m 19, and Christopher Reeves will forever be my Superman! I distinctly remember dressing up as Superman, listening to John Williams’ theme on repeat during the last scene of Superman (original) as I tried to copy Reeves’ as best as I could
It was 1978 which is 46 years ago and they've made a few more Superman movies since. But Christopher Reeve was the ultimate Superman because he played both roles and he had the perfect presence, physique and charisma of both roles. After his unfortunate accident he was the real Superman in how he never gave up hope of his recovery. R.I.P and never forgotten ❤️
The moment the curtain rose to show Christopher Reeve on stage at the Oscars in March 1996 is the most moving moment of the Oscar telecasts. Nobody thought we'd ever see him again. You can see the tears Nicholas Cage's eyes. Looks of respect from many others. It is still seared in my memory.
80s kid here...Will, your dad was an AWESOME guy and his role as SUPERMAN was and still is one of my favorite childhood memories ❤ If those movies come on TV still to this day I will stop ✋️ wtvr I'm doing and watch it 🤘💯🔥 Even my wife will tell me it's on and watch it with me 😊
Such a positive person despite having lost both parents so early. This is the biggest superpower ever! I hope he gets to play him soon. He's 32 already.
All of the Reeve children are amazing and a testament to their parents. Will though if he ever wanted could play Superman or a superhero. He has the look.
The scene in Superman The Movie where Lois dies and Superman is holding Lois and cries out is better than any Superman movie or tv show made before or since. There is so much emotion in Christopher Reeves cry that you feel it.
I had such a big crush on Christopher Reeve. Perhaps I still do. I was 10yrs old, or so, when "Superman" was released. Handsome. Strong, Beautiful. Moral. Tall. I didn't know I had a crush on him, but I know what it means now. LOL!
He must have been so heartbroken as a kid seeing his father go through lives struggles then to lose each parent so young was double trouble. He's handsome. Wow!!!!!! He got the good genes for sure
I love that story about him catching the theif that stole his bike! ❤ 💛💙🦸🏻♀️🚲 Will is such an amazing person as his late parents were. RIP, Dana and Chris Reeve. You raised beautiful himan beings. 💜 🙏🏻
A remarkable young man. Looks like a spitting image of his dad - and has all the best parts from both his parents because he grew up to be a great human being as well.
To live in the hearts of those who love us, we will never die. So endearing to hear his son tell us his father's birthday and passing day with great honor So far my grandmother, born July 11, 1914, and grandfather, born August 25, 1921, are still forever here in my heart
Thank you so much Christopher Reeve for bringing colour to my childhood I still feel in awe when I see him..........And for the record, Will looks a perefct Superman if only he was an Actor lol
Watched the documentary yesterday, very moving, inspiring, sad and hopeful to see how many people are regaining their walking abilities thanks to the foundation. His marriage, kids & friendship with Robin Williams was truly beautiful.
Man I remember waking up and my mom getting me ready for school my eyes weren’t even open yet but here came the news that Chris Reeve passed away my eyes opened! Like WTF!!! I was 17 back then 37 now. I was there opening day for this Documentary Superman is my Favorite Character and Chris WAS and WILL always be Superman! Henry’s great as well. But I respect the Original… Even down to George Reeves who hated being Superman. Man to see Chris at 72 would have been amazing…
October 11th! I'm going again. It was an awesome documentary about how Christopher Reeve became a real super man in real life. I can't imagine what he and Dana went through. They gave us all such inspiration and hope.
Christopher Reeve will always be my Superman. Wow, Will looks like his Dad. I saw Christopher Reeve one day back when I was in j.h.s. in N.Y.C. on West 77 th Street in the late 80s. He was turning the corner on w. 78th. He smiled and I told my friend, "Look, it's Christopher Reeve " My friend said, "Who?" I said Superman! Christopher Reeve smiled and waved and said," Nice to meet you. " It made my day!
He looks like Superman.
He looks like his dad, and better yet, seems to have his dad's sense of decency.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wait till he puts on glasses. He turns into a total goof.

You mean like Clark Kent?
You can definitely see his dad in him ❤.
Handsome like his father. Mere coincidence he’s a journalist like Clark Kent. I think not 😂😂Much success Will.

I never knew his mom died just 18 months after his dad.
@@HeathRios-e6oI immediately went to wiki for Dana Reeves' story.
The next Clark Kent ???

That’s a tragedy that might ruin many children. They evidently had some great family support after loosing their parents.

He really does!
But i hope he NEVER plays Superman .
That smile is very uncanny! Like his dad

❤❤❤
My Gen Z son saw all of the Superman movies - the Originals and all of the reboots and even he thinks the best Superman was Christopher Reeve. That's saying something.
Agreed. I think this new guy will be amazing tho. Cavil was good too but his personality as Superman was a bit dull and shallow imo.
It’s strange, I saw the thumbnail not knowing who Will Reeve is and immediately thought “that guy looks like a Superman”
His older half brother looks even more like his dad.
he got the superman genes
Same!
Very handsome. I had to scroll back up.😅
