Bots all over the comment section lately so don’t get scammed. Hope you guys have a great week. If you want to support our channel, we have merch for sale and other links in the description that help us out. Thanks for everything 💪🏼
Yep, they're all over RUclips... That's how you know you've got a decent amount of subscribers, when they show up 😂
Dope ass video so funny to see ur dad pinwheeling that pike in they are a lazy ass fish after that initial run love to u and urs bro
I've had some of my best days 🎣 when I was wet and cold.
5° Celsius must feel really cold for you folks who are not used to it. 😉 Seriously though, you need warmer clothing than the gear you were wearing that day.
I've said it before, Senior you did a hell of a job raising Junior. Have you ever thought of having a boys camp for the summer. You could teach those boys a lot that they sadly don't get from home. You're a natural and could have another revenue stream. Always enjoy going along with you guys! Have fun! Junior always has the right attitude, it makes all the difference.
Agreed
That’s Sr’s dream! He was an Army Instructor at the 18th Airborne Corps.. he loves to teach and train people
Great idea❤
Don't forget Mrs Senior who I'm sure contributed.
I hope myself at almost 40 counts as one of the boys to be taught at this camp.. lol
“They robbed us blind” 😂
I love your videos! I appreciate your patriotic comments too Senior! Thank you.
Sorry to comment again, I used to be a fish taxidermist did many replicas. The best thing you can do to help the taxidermist is get great close up photos of the various parts of the fish markings. They are all unique and the goal is to paint the fish to look just like yours. Hope that helps.
The rice paper imprint was something I've never seen before... That was pretty cool
I’m from Minnesota and love catching northern pike. It’s crazy to see how they are so frowned upon in Nevada but makes sense. Sadly Minnesota fishing isn’t what it was 10 years ago and pike especially in well known Minnesota lakes are getting harder to catch.
I love the channel, Sr you are a great roll model for Jr., Jr you are such a grown person for your age, I know you're over 21 but still a fine young man. Old Glory comment by Sr. warms my heart, thank you for your service. Hoorah.
As a sign maker and former billboard painter; I find your ink/rice paper transfers really cool! Great job guys on the fishing and everything!
I grew up fishing for Northerns, cleaning and eating them. A lot of people whine about the Y bones, but if you don't bolt your food like a starving piranha, they are not a problem, IMO. They are good eating pan fried but most people around here pickle them. I've also grilled one split in half.
There good eating for sure!!
But they are better eating if they are a little smaller.
If some of the people weren’t into the charcoal ovens, then they aren’t into history. I’ve enjoyed every one of your videos. You care about history of the places you hunt or fish which makes the videos even better. Keep up the great content.
Cool rice paper trophy.
My brother in law made mobiles out of his pikes. They were sort of cool but creepy hanging from the ceiling with an open jaw.
I have family in Ely! i love that town! so much history and such a great place to visit! its not related to much of what you guys do, but there is an old steam train ride that takes you out to Ruth and back and they do an old west train robbery on the ride. its good fun!
Nice, I’ll check it out next time
"save this lake, or whatever" they sound real excited about the event haha
Once again another great family, fishing and history video. Even though it’s cold the lake and surrounding areas look beautiful. Thanks again.
Nice catch!!! My first pike was a pickerel out of Lake Ontario. Of course, I attempted to lip it but I ended up with holes in my fingers.😂😂😂
😆 they have so many teeth it’s crazy
@@SinCityOutdoors We have pike that size in Rivers and lakes in England, too. Those things can take your finger(s) off very easily. It's not unusual to see ducklings and other waterfowl swimming, only for them to disappear under the water suddenly, without even a splash, never to return. You think you've miscounted them, until another disappears. The pike are that stealthy, and very efficient hunters.
Up here in Saskatchewan, Canada I have a lot of success using spoons, specifically a yellow spoon with the 5 of diamonds for catching the northern pike. Always a good fight with the pike.
Must have for big pike haha make a few trips every year into Sask from AB haha I love the place
I liked the charcoal ovens vid. History is very important. Great pike, looks like it was a blast to catch them. Also interesting inking project, never saw that before. Thanks guys!!!
Cool trophy idea. 🎨🖼 Well done overall🇺🇸🐠👊
Amazing view of rain dumping from that cloud in the background at 9:48!
You guys have the best videos! With Memorial Day coming up I wanted to say thank you for your service Sr.
He had you tap dancing lol 🤣
😆 he spun me around
Thought you were going over board for a sec there😁
Senior awesome job raising these boys. I try teaching my younger son the outside and sports. So much to life outside of the house and away from the ipad
Nice pike !! I catch pike while trolling for walleyes on Saginaw Bay, Michigan. Back in the 1980's I went to northern Ontario with a group of friends pike fishing for 10 days. 6 red and white spoons would end up destroyed, you would catch 100 fish a day casting and trolling. Great times!
That fish ink method is so awesome!!!
I lived in New England and you could have had that fish made into a trophy by a taxidermist. I always enjoy your videos. I like how you always explain the history of the locations that you visit. God bless!!
Pike are dope fish.
That demo of the fish on rice paper was awesome! Was cooking dinner and that burger was looking delicious. 🙆♀️
Those were great fish! Wow! 😊 🎣
Here in Minnesota, pike are trophy fish, and decent eating. Only place you have to worry about mercury is up around Bemidji, where they mine for iron.
Good work. Beautiful country...
Thank you for telling people about scammers they need to be aware as utube could care less similar to our government
Ah. Northern Pike.
Gut them, stuff them with lemon pepper and spices. Wrap them in tin foil and barbeque.
We can’t eat these but I would love to try that
@@SinCityOutdoors contaminated water?
@@volvo09yes they clarified in the video there’s lots of mercury in the water and fish so they recommend not to eat any fish out of there
@@keanandarnell8709 ah, figured so. Pretty common.
I'm only part way through
@@volvo09 Dude was giving a pike recipe calm down , nobody is eating anything out of that lake especially pike with all the mercury.
I wish senior was my mentor or father. I would be in a better place in life 😢😢😢😢😢😢
Pike wrapped in foil w butter, onions and peppers on the grill are good.
what in the SIn City Outdoors and Crafts! lol thats been one of my fishing bucket list fish trip. You guys are awesome. Delivered.
I blew through Ely both ways on a trip from Boise to LV!
While in LV, I noticed signs promoting the Nascar race. Since I was there to do repair work for my daughter, I asked her to take me to the Nascar race! Yay!
My 2nd race in person! My step-dad was a big fisherperson(?), me, not so much. Great post, guys!
Love what you guys do. Thanks!
What a fantastic cross cultural experince! Fun day of fishing and an even better story with the print to display featuring a great predator like the pike. Well done guys!
your smiles make my days better. may God bless you all.
i’m loving these weekly uploads, keep it up👍🏽
Keep on doing what you’re doing guys! Great videography and ideal content!!
Nice fish 🎣 Have a great day 🐟☀️
Sr I want to thank you for your service to our country and another cool video have a great day
Fish Art!?! Pretty Cool 😎
Good show! The fish prints turned out great.
Sin City Outdoors videos never disappoint!! I always enjoy them!
That racks reminds me of a place in green river called ray's tavern
Up here in Minnesota we love our Pike fishies.
Charcoal Kilns. We used to have a lot of them in Central Missouri. Here we used mostly black oak.
Those are beastly fish. Must be a fun fish to haul in.
Thanks for the idea on inking the fish. Fantastic!
Beautiful Fish Art
Thanks
Love the rice paper fish 🐟
Very cool.
Great job yall. I found your channel ever since the Army moved me over here to Southern California at Fort Irwin. I can't wait to travel to some of these locations and do some fishing.
Charcoal oven I enjoy it good video
Big baits Big fish! 😂 (Note to self: never forget net while pike fishing!) That’s a shame not being able to eat the fish from there but definitely can enjoy the fight. Congratulations on some very nice pike! Great idea to preserve a trophy pike along with the family experience on rice paper! 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you both
Wow!!
The ink pressing turned out great.
Love the ink imprints!!! Fantastic 😊❤
My wife and I like to backpack in the Ruby Mountains always stop in Ely on the way up. It is a cool little town. Turkey Vultures would roost for the night at the cemetery in the trees by the children section if I remember correctly. Kind of creepy but great trout fishing in the streams and lakes in the northern end by Ruby and hidden lakes. A lot of deer and elk. Great video 👍
Trophy fish in Minnesota along with the Walleye. Northern are great pickled !
Love watching y'all fish...
🤗THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO,GREAT TIMES AND THE FOOD LOOKS DELICIOUS 😋 Thankfully we’re eating right now😁🤗
AND WE ENJOYED THE HISTORY OF THE CHARCOAL OVENS💚💚💚
funny to hear you guys talking about mercury in the water and limits on how many you can eat.... thats every damn lake, pond, river and stream in the northeast
Sadly all of America has pollution of some sort. Check advisories for any body of water you fish.
I've been a fan for a couple of years now, and I always enjoy the content. I really enjoy the Father/Son dynamic. Junior, you're a lucky man being able to do what you love along with your Dad. Senior, you've raised some great boys. Keep the videos coming, Fellas!
Enjoy your videos! The Japanese ink/rice paper transfer technique is a great simple way to record your ctch! Now you have a framable wall display able piece of art..and I assume at a reasonable cost!
We’ve made about 20 of them with the same $25 dollars worth of supplies
The Northern Pike lives in almost any water, eats almost anything, that is why here in Canada we call them Slough Shark.
Jr. I agree. I have been fishing for approx. 75 years and one of my favorite fish to catch is pike. Many years ago I used to guide in Ontario for walleyes and pike. I would make a shore lunch of the fish we caught that morning and most of my clients never knew they were eating northern pike, but they enjoyed the meat even more than the walleye. The only caveat is the pike have to be caught in very very cold water. In warm or muddy water they are not worth eating. LOVE catching them! Troy Ball Lake Havasu
Great Video! Nice size Pike! I am from Minnesota and have fished for Pike many times in my life. Only thing we do different than you two is, we bring a net to get them in the boat. Senior's hands could have been saved.
Learn something new every day. Thanks guys
I like the fish paintings that is a cool way to save it👊😁🙏🇺🇸😎
Think that thing would rather have you for dinner. lol He is huge and lots of teeth. I didn't know they made them like that. Happy fishing and have a great day
Oh man stinky fish and slimy those were so much fun catching them they would take the bait and run with it love it. My husband had fished for 30 yrs in Canada took him long time to catch a big one, I go up there my first year and catch a big one, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 loved this video. Hope senior brother is during well
Minnesota is full of Taxademists, look them up and put the fish on ice. Another way to preserve a fish is to incase it in a polyurethane resin, my cousin did that with a lake trout and made a coffee table out of it. Take care, love your videos, and if you ever want to fish in Minnesota, let me know by January because that is when I have to plan my vacations. I can take you to some very fun lakes.
Slough Shark...Snot Rocket...couple Alberta Canada names....nice job.... enjoying your channel
8:54 "You might be able to grab him by that lure" LOL yeah ok. Love the paper trophies!!!!!
Love the show, great family. Nicely done gentleman, the history and ink print was 🔥
If you caught that big pike in Minnesota you would definitely want to get to the taxidermist. Beautiful fish!
That was so interesting the way to capture a trophy fish without having to mount it !! Never knew this technique existed !! Thank You so much for this info !! Great catch both of you !! Thank You for another great video 📸 !! ❤ It !!
Man you guys make me want to go fishing. Love your videos. I fish Lake Mead almost every week. I am retiring soon and will be taking my 15 year old son, Michael out on our 14 foot canoe and do some fishing soon. Thanks guys!
Another great adventure and interesting seeing the ink outline thing. 👍🍻
I'm from Michigan in my younger days we caught northern pike on red and white Dare devel spoons
I enjoyed the road trip video with the ovens!
Good catch. I guess it is true. If you are miserable the fishing is good. Thhat was pretty awesome when you made a copy of the fish.
My favorite fishing channel for sure! ❤
Thats really cool ink and rice paper. ❤❤
I was fishing with a lure like that once at Lake Meade. I was bored and the big lure put up a little fight all by itself and I was just casting it out as far as I could. After about the 4th or 5th cast when I reeled it in I noticed it was wriggling and I thought that was weird until I saw a little tiny 1.5 inch fish had bit one of the giant hooks. Not snagged, but he actually bit the hook. It was at that moment I knew I was never gonna make it as a fisherman.
Cool ink print. Being and artist/art teacher and an avid fisherman I probably should try doing that sometime. The toughest thing for me is what to do with the fish afterwards as I really don't care to eat most freshwater fish.
Use them as fertilizers to your soil
Have a blessed day
I caught a 43" pike in Michigan, they make good pike nuggets,i used chad for bait.
Well Done. I believe they have an extra row of bones when filleting....
Love the way you guys keep it real and genuine. Ready for Dove yet? I live in Yuma can't wait. Bang Bang !!
Another great video. You guys cover alot of species we don't ever get a chance to see here I'm so cal. Those pike remind me of a barracuda or wahoo only fresh water. Good times
Grab them behind the gill plate and your fine done be a baby about picking them up hahahaha😂😂
Gyotaku too!!! ❤❤❤
Up here in the northern states, we love northern pike. It's actually a great eating fish if there are no consumption advisories. BTW, you guys are crazy, pike fishin' with no net! LOL
Nice Job! I liked the Pike you guys caught. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the video. I'm thinking that you're not hockey fans. Very interesting mounting segment.
Nothing better than those beer battered
