    Hi Maria, love your videos about desert roses, recently got a small desert rose but suddenly the flower buds got dried, never bloomed, and now the leaves turned yellow and went down, for watering I’ve been doing it like a succulent, like once in a month but that’s when the flower buds started to dry, then I switched to once every two weeks, the plant has been getting sun and the soil it has is a cactus mix, any suggestions of what I could do to get her better?
    Regards

    Hi name is Amanda I had just a quick question for you I was wondering why not start a video of how to start seeds. Step by step picture of seedlings piping through dirt and then start explaining from seeds to growing up and care of baby's to 6 months old and if need full sun etc. I love all of your videos but there is never enough information on how to start from scratch to adult of the plants. Thank you so much I hope you can have a video made cause I can't find one anywhere. Thanks again good bless

    Maria I have two snake plants that I got earlier this year. They’re still in the same 8” pots they came in but now I see that the leaves are looking unhealthy and the soil look white on the top. I bought some Bayer Advanced all-in-one rose & flower care, 3 systemic products in 1, fertilizer, insect control and disease control concentrate to use. Here’s the thing, I don’t know what to do. I need to know if this product will help the plant with fungus and what type of soil to repot them in. I also have some aglaonemas with the same fungus or white stuff on top of the soil and the leaves are turning yellow or getting brown tips. I bought these plants because they’ suppose to be plants of steel. I also don’t know if regular potting soil is okay for the Ags. I also have a three bulb ponytail plant with little black bugs on them and I want to know if I can use the Bayer Advanced on it. It has three bulbs attached to each other and they are trying to out grow each other. Do I pull them apart and what type of soil do I plant them in? I know this is a lot to ask of you but I’m desperate! Can you help me? I’d like to call you and show you first hand what I’m talking about. I live in Shreveport La and it’s raining here and it’s humid. Thanks for any advice but I’d rather talk to you.

    • @MariasgardenGarden
      @MariasgardenGarden  6 лет назад +1

      Ann Stewart ok my friend the problem is you need to get some big pot and repot everything they need room to grow nothing wrong with you plants the problem is room to grow like for example the snake plant need at least 20” to 30” pot that’s the problem you having you need to use cactus soil and get some fertilizer like osmocote 14-14-14 slow release and mix with you soil please don’t spend more money and anything you problem is you’re suffocating you babies love Maria’s garden

    • @annstewart299
      @annstewart299 6 лет назад

      Maria you addressed the snake plants but what about the ponytail plant that have 3 (three) bulbs together growing ing the same pot from the store. I don’t know if I should split the bulbs and pot in different pots. You see the bulbs sits up like your desert roses out of the soil. I just bought some fertilome for shrubs and trees for the little black bugs on them. Is this okay. I lost a majestic palm because it rotted and the bugs were on them. I was very unhappy. So I don’t want to lose my ponytails. Also I bought the Bayer Advanced and you didn’t tell me about that. Also what do I do about my alglaonemas that are turning yellow and what soil mixture to use. I want to send pictures or FaceTime you so I can show you the plants but I don’t know if I can. Do you have an iPhone? If so I can FaceTime you. I also have the IMO app that I can FaceTime with. Tell me which one because I’m desperate. I love you for all the help in your videos. Sometimes I can’t understand some of the things you say but I just rewind and listen intently to hear what you’re saying. Oh yeah I bought a water meter from Home Depot and I just started using it but I’m not sure I’m doing it correctly. Oh well anyway I hope you would address All my concerns because eventually I like to try my hands at have a desert fore plant. I’m a disabled veteran but I love gardening. Don’t want to take the easy way out though. Bye for now Maria. By the way your Alabama friends name is Ken.
