I remember buying this game and then being so pissed off that it was a strategy game, instead of a FPS. I know, I was like 15 when I bought it and didn't really look into it that much. But now that I've played over hundreds of hours of it, I laugh at how angry I was. Its a great game with real potential. I hope for a modern day re-make.
I still remember loading this game up, and seeing the THQ logo flash across the screen, and then SEGA re-released the game for no reason just to put their logo on the menu screen.
@@strikefg Nope. Coh2 turned into the best coh game, better mechanics, factions, gameplay and maps. Since coh3 is still at an early stage, i can't say much, but it definitely had the best release of the franchise. I know it's a year old comment, but it's worth the discussion
Update, the disc version doesent come with the 2.606. update... D: Really sucks for me I have to use my mod pack to play with 2.606. ANd that mod pack which is called Eastern Front does not work at the moment I uninnstalled my COH and it simply didnt redownload, the disc version works for me just not the current game you get online.
I tried to sign in but says my username and password is wrong but I know it is right because I wrote it out word for word in the case so I guess only the steam version works online now?

The composer really nailed it on this one. The fanfare during the last 30 seconds reminiscent of Patton or A Bridge Too Far. Awesome stuff.

Yeah. After 800 matches I am finally writing a guide to skirmishes to help my friends because they can't cut it.
Never made it past the first level... but the music keeps me going till now. ;')

SEGA bought relic studio from THQ, that is why you see SEGA logo now
with compagny of heroes 2 that is a best soundtrack ever. :)
I hope COH2 lives up to the greatness that the original produced.

For Modern Combat I really prefer World In Conflict, CoH is better to remain what it is right now (WW2)
