I think one thing, we should understand now, is that the men that this game portrayed are now well and truly dead. At the time of release and some time after, Vets from this period of time were still around. But not anymore. Now, they are but a memory. The thing that strikes me as impactful, is that these games help keep them alive, remembered, never forgotten. It is our duty as those who are alive now, to remember them and impart their stories onto our children. A story about how people answered the call. A story about how when the world was in its darkest hour, these men either drafted or volunteered, did the impossible. A story about ordinary men, doing extraordinary things. WWII is special, because I believe it was the last war that was unambiguously righteous (Seemingly). Of course, stories should be shared from all perspectives, and terrible things happen, but in the aftermath, that simplicity is desirable. We can truly think of these men and women as heroes. And as such, they should be remembered for their courageous acts.

meh, i like red snow better, but yeah sounds cool. but yeah i fucking hate gameloft, they're the EA of mobile devices. ubisoft really needs to drop them and bring back gearbox as the main developer.
my bad, it was in fact *GEARBOX?!* who fucked up BIA, but don't worry, they also released Aliens: colonial marines, and Duke Nukem: forever, around the same time, and we all know how those ended up(X_X)
And btw, as far as I know, pilots and so forth have said that they never really quite realized they were killing people. For example, there was this RAF pilot during the Falaise pocket in Normandy who was constantly destroying German convoys with rockets, he said that he never really realized he was actually killing people, they were just targets for him to destroy basically.
This damn game will always give me the feels... Seeing Allen and Garnett dead... Destroyed me lol I even teared up bit while playing through it... It's so well played

I listened to this soundtrack when I used to own it years ago. Imagine playing this soundtrack during a revolutionary war speech, to bring peace, ultimate equality and justice to the world for what it has truly become now. World War 3: A cold war of political justice, madness and torment. we will all stand tall through this mess, and I'd say this song is perfect.
I really do love the Brothers in Arms games and the music. You could tell the production company really put their best foot forward in making an awesome game!
BiA 4 is coming out in a few years. The makers said that BiA isn't dead, and that they love the series ( source: www.vg247.com/2013/02/12/brothers-in-arms-authentic-title-on-the-way-says-pitchford/ )
I tried getting into music when I was in middle school (around the time this game came out) and eventually realized that I would never be anything more than a jukebox for classical tunes and orchestral covers of pop music; all carefully rehearsed of course, and would never create anything because (being honest, here) I don't have an ear for music and can't compose anything complicated. That was, of course, about twelve years before I found out that there was something in music called "Minimalism" and little did I know that I was getting a dose of it every time I fired up the Xbox.
The most underrated game in the history of gaming. The story was a pure masterpiece. And the gameplay as well.

Allen and Garnett, Legget, McReary, Combs, Courtland, Corrion, Desola, Paige, Marsh, Paddock, Doyle, Friar, Campbell, Rivas, Zanovich, Obrieski, Muzza and probably more guys. What a super squad.
It's OK to cry a real gamer cries to icon games at least i do!!! ❤❤
Didnt play this game much, i was more into sims like Arma but the main theme music is really great and i could remember it, thanks for sharing it.
Too much God damn nostalgia. Someone stop that guy from cutting those onions.

The best WW2 game ever
I posted this in another comment thread, but I'm posting it as its own comment so hopefully more will see it.
From what I can find, it does seem that a new Brothers in Arms game is being worked on. As far back as 2011 they claimed to be planning a classic BiA game. In 2015 Pitchford said that a new authentic Brothers in Arms was in the "incubation" stage, and that the team still hadn't confirmed its development and publishing partners. In May 2018 Pitchford said over Twitter that they are working on something and have been for a while, but that there is more work to do still.
If I remember correctly half of these guys are dead by the time hells highway came out just shows how bad American paratroopers had it in WW2.
Yes, some platoons had 50% casualties just a few days after D-Day.
Cheers m8!
Gran tema para uno de los mejores juegos de la historia
please ubisoft, ditch gameloft and bring back the *REAL* brothers in arms games we all love
How does BIA : Death on the Ardennes sound? As a sequel I mean in the Battle of the Bulge.
meh, i like red snow better, but yeah sounds cool.
but yeah i fucking hate gameloft, they're the EA of mobile devices. ubisoft really needs to drop them and bring back gearbox as the main developer.
my bad, it was in fact *GEARBOX?!* who fucked up BIA, but don't worry, they also released Aliens: colonial marines, and Duke Nukem: forever, around the same time, and we all know how those ended up(X_X)
une belle phrase l'ami et jespère qu il y aura un 4 cette saga et la seule qui me fait pleurer dans un jeu
danieb52 Or Brothers In Arms:Blood In The Snow
I remember making a power point for this game in High School back in 06. This really got me into learning how to make these interactive experiences.
Saying that this series is absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time is an understatement, it goes far beyond that.
A game so accurate you can walk many of the areas depicted without a guide a know your way around.
Love this
Even after ten years,i still have this game in my hearth.
Nostalgia
This damn game will always give me the feels... Seeing Allen and Garnett dead... Destroyed me lol I even teared up bit while playing through it... It's so well played
Once i met a friend, noticed he lives near my house, go to his place very weak, play brothers in arms, had fun, laugh, loved the theme, played. he moved... this song makes me cry whith such fresh emotion
they have all forgotten what they went through...
''I never asked to be squad leader...''. Matt Baker.
Good times playing this game. Jesus this makes me sad when the music plays. I know, I'm a sad bastard
no, we are both sad bastards.
God please sent an angel to remastered this epic game can any one do this 😢
I really do love the Brothers in Arms games and the music. You could tell the production company really put their best foot forward in making an awesome game!
Fuck, ill never forger the moment when you find Allen and Garnett wiht Leggett
Помню как в детстве играл аж плакать хочется
I like the drum part a lot. Especially when loading the next level. It really gives me the chills.
BiA 4 is coming out in a few years. The makers said that BiA isn't dead, and that they love the series ( source: www.vg247.com/2013/02/12/brothers-in-arms-authentic-title-on-the-way-says-pitchford/ )
still waiting...
FUBAR!
Miss this game and Earned In Blood. I had them both in a two game pack (Double Time) for the Wii. Where the hell is the next one?
Still gives me chills
Le meilleur de tout les brothers in arms. Vivement un prochain 😎
I replay this any time😇
