What I love about the old WW2 COD titles is that they weren’t just focused on The American western front. They were focused on the other campaigns as well. Something that CoD ww2 (2017) was sorely missing was more fronts.

Now COD is too multiplayer focused. And it's sad. I'm getting tired of the macho lets-blow-it-up-with-a-predator-drone-missile-and-kill-the-main-villain-in-a-quick-time-event attitude that the current games have. I miss the days of the World War II shooter where I felt that I was in a war that mattered while surrounded by characters that I cared about. I miss the days when there was no need for nuclear weapons or rogue terrorists or main villains. I'm sick of terrorists trying to blow up cities or trying to trick the world into fighting World War III. I'm sick of using futuristic semi-automatic and automatic weapons that all feel the same. Battlefield 4, Battlefield: Hardline, Call of Duty; Ghosts, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Medal of Honor: Warfighter! Its too much! Too many modern and near-futuristic settings! Return to the glory days of killing the worst scum on the planet: Nazis! Return to the beaches of Normandy and to the snow covered forests of Bastogne! Return to the villages of France and the deserts of North Africa! Hell, the Pacific Theater hasn't even been fully explored yet! Give us World War II shooters! Give us something meaningful to play again!
Back then developers were good... They put effort into games. Now? Now they are shitting out the same game every year. Oh look! This time it's got bows! It MUST be TOTALLY different from the last one!
Antony Dyson Not to mention that they now feel the need to include a main villain that always dies through either a scripted moment where you can't fail unless you literally push none of the buttons or through a lame quick time event. Remember in CoD 3 when the quick time event made you push a button each time you moved as opposed to nowadays where you hit one button and then watch your guy do some judo move or something?
I played this game when I was younger on the wii. I never was able to beat the game on the wii because I was on the mission where it introduces you to the driving because my joystick thing (idk what its called) for some reason didn't work when I drive. So, I would just be stuck there trying to move the car but couldn't. Luckily years later I found the game at an indoor flea market thing so I bought it and completed the campaign.

The Top 5 Call Of Duty games: Call Of Duty 2 Call Of Duty 3 Call Of Duty: World At War Call Of Duty 4 Call Of Duty While this is mainly my personal opinion, I did take in consideration the quality (length, character development, if/how much it was accurate to historical events that unfolded) of the campaign, multiplayer and how well thought and worked on the game was on general.

you mean the days when "Call of Duty" was still "Call of duty". not "Call of scripted highly trained professionals, who are never in any dangerous anyway, cause they easily knock out 500 man with 3 soldiers"

I went back to this game after a few years and it felt so good playing it. I played the campaign and the nostalgia kicked in instantly when McCullin said "you're no good to me dead." In the multiplayer, Eder Dam and Poisson were my favourites. Back when CoD wasn't about screaming kids and killstreaks, spamming your weapon for 100 bullets to get 3 hitmarkers, even though the gun has no recoil. Strategy. It competed with Battlefield 2, with the mid-sized maps and 24 player matches. Damn, what have they done to you, CoD?
I love this Call of Duty because this COD is the only one that provides information about the weapons, and vehicles which are being used in WW2. Too bad I can't finish the campaign because my disk game is corrupted.

+Thunderbolt8296 Yeah I also liked when you plant charges on the fuel plant it actually took you to do something, not click RB
Antony Dyson That was awesome! I always felt on edge. I felt like a Nazi would show up behind me and kill me while I was planting it.
+Downfall Dolfy same I wish I still had my ps2 :(
I played this game when I was younger on the wii.
A very good childhood game
***** Well thanks i thought 8th grade would have improved my grammar by now.
This game is what me into writing WW-2 era books, and went through all the difficulties in that game over 20 times now, but I still Iove the main theme for this game.😅
0:50 This was the first COD I ever played. Every couple of years this part of the theme would pop into my head for no reason and I finally found it!! Love this game, good memories!
The Top 5 Call Of Duty games:
Call Of Duty 2
Call Of Duty 3
Call Of Duty: World At War
Call Of Duty 4
Call Of Duty
While this is mainly my personal opinion, I did take in consideration the quality (length, character development, if/how much it was accurate to historical events that unfolded) of the campaign, multiplayer and how well thought and worked on the game was on general.
I couldnt agree more
So the first 5
Love how this theme came up on the final part of the game.
remember when CoD cared about history?
i remember the old days where this music played on the call of duty's web page :) man time goes fast
Name for music ???

What platform? I'm just curious because I want to buy it again.
NoveltyHat xbox 360, and ps3 im not sure for pc
NoveltyHat PS2,XBOX?,WII,XBOX 360 AND PS3
Its sad to me that CoD 1 barely has anyone in it now.
Roderich Edelstein they remastered it on ps3 and it's called call of duty classic and i see people in the multiplayer :p
This game was everything to me as a kid I would draw all the vehicles and characters from the game and it’s how I got into ww2 god I miss those times, playing the second mission while my mom cleaned my room was a key memory I have and god do I miss it
É de arrepiar, marcou minha vida ❤️... Ooooh se tivesse no Spotify jjjkkkk
Jesus man 2006! I was 11 when this game came out! I never heard this theme until now because I didn't get until cod until 2007 when cod 4 came out. Definitely one of the best themes in the series!
Existirá eternamente em nossos corações

Oh man the memories... remember playing it as a child, i used to let the whole theme play before choosing a mission
Reminds me of the days when Call of Duty was still so much fun. Now look at it. It is really really disappointing. After Moderm Warefare 2, Call of Duty became nothing but shit. They should have stuck with the WW2 era.
you mean the days when "Call of Duty" was still "Call of duty". not "Call of scripted highly trained professionals, who are never in any dangerous anyway, cause they easily knock out 500 man with 3 soldiers"
Precisely my good sir
***** the only ww2 cod games were:
call of duty: 1
call of duty: 2
call of duty: 3
call of duty: world at war
and call of duty: roads to victory
I miss the ww2 style cod games now since the release from call of duty modern warfare 2, cod games have modern war missionswith modern weapons, if you don't know what i mean just look at call of duty black ops 2 and ghosts and compare them with cod 1, 2, 3, world at war and roads to victory
Sergio Chacon Call of Duty: United Offensive and Call of Duty 2 Big Red One
you forgot finest hour and big red 1 :P
Glorious theme ever! Brings back happy memories, when games were something cool, something to relax you, something to never forget, to make your childhood better. Today, i don't see that. I don't know how many times i played this game on PS2. This brings tears, i want this on PC!
"Nichols right? Go get the gun"
This was COD ww2 so many perspectives and theaters compared to the one we got just a few years ago.
Definitely bro. They actually cared about trying to get things right back in this time. No effort Call of Duty WW2
First call of duty I played .Epic and drammatic.Best ww ll game ever
Same!
DizturbedFan Specially soundtracks are awesome ...That epic music in the begining of the level called "the island " made me like yeeeeaaaah ...let's goooo
true.. and the song when Jerrys and the US clash in Chambois then the Plane Fighters appear... pure epicness.. one of the best COD yet!
RIP Sgt . Dixon
mondjedimaster dixon is the best sgt. i ever see man.
Moment silence for whom that has forgotten this masterpiece.
call of duty 3 , the only and last cod i ever played to honour it!
Se me erizo la piel D;; AAAA!!! QUE NOSTALIGIA LO JUGABA CUANDO TENÍA 7 AÑOS .😥😭🥺 TE AMO COD 3 SIEMPRE SERAS Y SEGUIRAS SIENDO MI JUEGO FAVORITO....!! 🥺❤
The best ending to a COD game ever!2:25
This game will always be immortalized in the hearts and minds of a generation grateful for countless generations.
Nice memories but CoD Big Red One stills makes me cry.
Ain't that the truth
Dido
TheFrankuck99
And that classic medal of honor melody!
Bloomfield. Still selling the best pastrami sandwiches you'll ever eat. Rest in peace, buddy.
This is why I love history, playing classic gems like this back in the day :)
Were going on a mission to get coffee and donuts
The problem is the Germans drank all the coffee and ate all the donuts
Only the real OGs come back to this video.
Came here to pay respects, miss you cod3, first multiplayer experience, and I remember being so intimidated as a kid, but it was so fun.
Me: my first game was cod 3
Them: bo3? Mw3?
Nah bruh, *the original...*
True
NEVER FORGET FOREVER HONOR
I went back to this game after a few years and it felt so good playing it. I played the campaign and the nostalgia kicked in instantly when McCullin said "you're no good to me dead." In the multiplayer, Eder Dam and Poisson were my favourites. Back when CoD wasn't about screaming kids and killstreaks, spamming your weapon for 100 bullets to get 3 hitmarkers, even though the gun has no recoil. Strategy. It competed with Battlefield 2, with the mid-sized maps and 24 player matches. Damn, what have they done to you, CoD?
When this theme starts to play at the end of the final mission…still one of the most epic moments in CoD history.
Nostalgia bateu forte
Eu acho que em outra vida eu fui um soldado porque esses jogos da 2 guerra mundial mexe muito comigo.😍melhor jogo do mundo😭😭
Eu tmb
Crazy! This video came out 12 years ago and im still listening to it... This game was the best
More like 15 years!
I love this Call of Duty because this COD is the only one that provides information about the weapons, and vehicles which are being used in WW2. Too bad I can't finish the campaign because my disk game is corrupted.
Call of duty 3 i love you
Listen after the atack of Rusia? XD
This is the game that got me into cod, damn nostalgia.
"Fortune favors the BOOOLLLD!!"
lol me and my brother using to imitate his voice all the time
Alexiz001 Lol, that's Lieutenant Robiechauld for you.
17 years on and cod3 is still on my pedestal as one of the best games I’ve ever played
This theme reminds me of the opening of Small Soldiers, which is funny and fitting, as both composers of this game and that movie both share their last name!
(Joel Goldsmith composed CoD 3 while Jerry Goldsmith composed Small Soldiers)
Lol, nice
This was the first cod game I ever owned and I still play it up till today
Best game ending theme ever. This literally gives me chills when I play the game and win it!
Epic! legendary! the first COD exclusive for consoles
I'm legit crying my eyes out
Remember this game actually taught us history they used actual footage from the war and it was from the military channel why times have changed.
The memories of 2015ish for me. Still remember it clear as day.
If I had to chose a song to die to in war, this is it
If you are still listening to this in 2020, you are a legend
First call of duty I ever played. Man that was a long time ago.
They need to reboot this game with today's graphics. It would be immaculate.
it gave me like a motivation whenever i open the game on my PS2, i got a lot of goosebumps, i love it very much
