I don't know how...but I just became aware of this powerhouse of a voice called Fantasia...and I'm never gonna be the same.
Summertime will always be her best all time vocal performance. That was just beautiful.

No her tribute to pattie LaBelle you are my friend. And her performing lose to win again on American idol. Are her absolute best. It's not up for debate

Mezzo with a high tessitura
I tend to say full soprano. It doesn't show because she loves to squall, but listen to the last note of Lady Marmalade. She hit that note with ease; it was SUPER clear, and had hit higher notes BEFORE that! Someone who is not a soprano would have been vocally exhausted after all of that, and would NOT have been able to hit that last note so clearly and easily.

Shes not a full soprano. She has soprano qualities but she don't live up there. Hence why she growls when she gets higher because her voice can't do exactly what a soprano does. She can't do a Jennifer Hudson. I would say Mezzo soprano
@@tasiawood she’s a soprano..nothing dark about her voice and she lives in the rafters. Her voice is naturally raspy. She doesn’t have to squall her notes out she just naturally that singer and does it for dramatic purposes. She a soprano
