Eminems verse on here is like one of my favorite verses by him. I understand there are crazy verses with him going fast (which are great) but this is just so satisfying to listen to. Eminem said that he learned something from 2pac, he said that 2pac had timed what he said at the right times in his verses. Well Eminem did just that in this verse. His subject matter is crazy relatable,the beat fits so well with him rapping, and just the timing of words in his verse is incredible! He stayed calm for a while throughout the verse but then slowly gets more energetic... once he said "pretend he went outside all day and played with his friends" he immediately snaps and gets more energetic and loud. It almost felt so real with his emotions really poured into it while he leads into saying "pretend he even had a friend to say it was his friend". Like he was saying about 2pac, it wouldn't have even been the same if he said those specific lines at the start of the verse. This verse had it all,perfect timing of words,great subject matter,great delivery and emotions poured out and everything and you can just really feel what he's saying. Definitely one of the best verses by Eminem in my opinion,well, it's a great song in general but, still.

The verses are SOOO different... B.O.B. is about wishful thinking and Eminem comes in and just flips the whole thing to let's pretend that I had just been a wishful thinker. Eminem turns it into a motivational song. Sadly I wasn't as strong as Em was and I let people's words kick me back from my dream of becoming a rapper... not that it just died... I have started working towards it again and this song is a huge part of that motivation. Em's words were like a solid kick to the gut for me.
Oh and only thing I know about B.O.B. is that he became a flat earther.
This is such a great track, hadn’t heard in forever. B.o.B is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED. He’s got that ATL dirty south sound and he’s smooth AF riding that beat. Always loved the southern rappers’ sound. Andre is my favorite MC of all time. Then Mos Def. Then Em. Then Wayne. Then LL Cool J. And I’m sorry Bobby, you sir are no Andre 😂 Miss A3K and B.o.B too though, miss that sound that took over, miss that time in music; we were the beneficiaries of a truly incredible musical generation. ❤️
