Sounds fine. Apart from the fact that some people want to use the wireless mouse they use on their PC, also on their laptop on the go. I'm not going to take an RGB mouse mat everyone just to be able to use my mouse wirelessly
Most smart people will have another mouse for the laptop
Sennagod Or get a Logitech or Corsair charging mousepad. They could've just included a rechargeable removable battery for people who'd want to take their mouse out from time to time.
My Razer Atheris does that perfectly lol
Does this one have the features of breaking on it's own after couple of months and the software causing bsod's? I really like those features!
0 issues here with any of my Razer Products.
how the fuck the synapse causing bsod ?
Muhammad Fikri Ramadhan Google it, theres multiple reports of it lol
well, i'm not getting the problem. so yea...
Muhammad Fikri Ramadhan Just because you aren't experiencing it, it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
The problem is... The mouse still powered by the mouse base.. without it untouch mouse cannot work.. and the mouse base using large cable.. to put that into perspective.. its just the same as daily driver we use mouse and mousepad.. except.. this one just twisted a bit
It has a capacitor inside the mouse that will make it work for 10-20 seconds without touching the pad.
That's a moot point in concern to his statement which is, you still have a mouse, and a pad, and a single wire, so whats the point of this wireless mouse and how expensive it is going to be for both it and the mouse pad, for the sake of a lighter mouse. And that's what it is, just all the weight transferred to the mouse pad, or you bought the mouse for the sake of having the new mamba and plug it in on it's wire that it has, but then you could've bought a deathadder for the same use case.
for me it isnt about the weight or the price. yes the pad is wired, but im not flailing a wire across my desk when i move the mouse. thats all i ever want a wireless mouse for.
Is this comment also available in English?
xSaraxMxNeffx totally agree with you. That’s my thought on it too. Also the pad wire can easily be channelled away as it doesn’t need to be free moving. Concept is a good one and progress in the right direction.
I think their floating mouse is still a bit better than this one.
hahaha wtf
Until the base breaks after 13 months. And I bet you cant just buy a new base. Razor: "Another $250 please."
Everyone complaining "Its not wireless because there is a cable in the mouse pad"
The point is that there is no cable drag on the mouse. And technically a wireless router isn't fully wireless...
It makes me irrationally angry every time I see that argument. Like what the fuck, are they flailing their entire mouse pad around when gaming? The point is to remove the cable from the mouse, not the remove the cable from the table. Grrr. If they don't want that, then clearly it's not a product for them.
IT isnt a Mamba if IT has no Led Stripes. I actually Love it. But i preferences The firefly because of The Razer Logo and The Mamba 2015 cause of Led stripes
Wow! Cancer and rgb all in one!
Cancer came with RGB long before this, my friend...
Pixelated it causes cancer?? How?
giuseppe valencia it probably doesn't actually cause cancer, but as he mentioned in the video he doesn't know the long term effects of a low level magnetic field on the hand
Don’t be concerned with low level magnetic feilds. You are already exposed to these daily and there is no reason to believe that it is dangerous.
way better solution than the Qi charging of Corsair, Razzer may old on something good here (but the G903 is still the best mouse imo ;) I won't change it anytime soon )
I wouldn't touch a wireless mouse by Razer ever again. I bought their wireless Mamba on sale and it came with a plague of stuttering and issues which were never fixed even after sending it to Razer 3 times. I gave up and got a wired mouse from steelseries instead.
No problems with my Atheris on a QCK Mini cloth pad
this begs the question, whats the point in this specific wireless design if a wire is required anyway? the only reason i can think of is so your not dragging a wire around for probably at least £200 more for both mouse and mouse pad.
To make money and like you say, not have cable resistance.
Yeah Razer is actually innovating with these products
Is that a new keyboard there???
Again?
$$$$$
I know why.On the first 5 secs you could see the blackwidow x with rgb wrist rest! Now its blurred!
LMarciRMG lel ooo interesting thanks
Razer just can't get the Mamba right. The first one was an expensive, heavy, and buggy wireless gaming mouse that no competitive gamer would ever touch. The second one was excellent in every aspect of its design except for the most important, its heavily flawed *laser* instead of optical sensor. All they had to do to perfect this product line for the next generation was transplant the Deathadder's sensor into it and maybe make the LED bulbs blend more smoothly on its side lighting. Nobody needs this $250 hyperflux horseshit. I might buy it if I can just buy the Mamba and its cable without the pad though.
A wireless Deathadder w/ optical sensor would be just about perfect.
They could just make it with battery. It is just better option. It would have been very nice if it would be same logitech thing but from different company.
want
Whats the point of a wireless mouse if you're gonna need to use a cable for the mousepad anyways?
This is really quite silly. 250 bucks to solve cable drag? There is other much cheaper solutions to that problem.
The logitech one had issues but it was a regular wireless mouse that was trying to provide an alternate charging solution. It wasn't trying to do this so I'm confused why it even was a comparison. This is a neat concept that solves a MINOR problem for an exorbitant premium.
Next step: eliminate the need for a mouse.
would so buy this but, the due to it's technology and the magnetic fields make me a bit hesitant
Size matters. What's the point of wireless freedom when the mouse pad is so tiny? Hard to game without my 3 foot wide Glorious PC Gaming Race Extended size now.
Lol the huntsman at the beginning is censord
I don't understand why anyone would ever want this? The way Logitech did this months ago is a better offering IMO.
Alright cool and all but we need these mousepads to be the size of QCK+'s or similar that's the only thing from stopping me to get these pads.
If you are worried about a low level magnetic field you better stay away from all microwaves, electric motors, any wire with current moving through it especially one with a loop, and earth.
Why upload it again?
Alexander Thomas Kurniawan read description
it's because he didn't blurred the new razer keyboard in the past video.
Don’t get it. It’s a good innovation but for what ? In my opinion, Razer should focused on make their existing product to work properly. I had 3 razer mice and they all had tracking issue, and I’m talking about flagship ones like 2 mambas and one ouroboros. I’m not even talking about rgb sync issues
So you're saying the g403-703 is too heavy (lol btw) what's the weight of this one ?
Error in publishing? what's in the other side that have blur? another mouse project?
In the first video they didn't censor the new keyboard which can be seen in the first few seconds of the video.
whats the thing blurred out on the left?
Now this idea is abandoned, Razer lost the opportunity to make compatible the viper ultimate and Basilisk ultimate with this
I searched "How to charge a mouse that doesn't need battery's" And this pops out h
Problem with this is Razer is unfortunately more known for their recent common issues and product issues. Yeah, people will say they have whatever Razer product they have and say it works just fine. That's great, amazing and good for you. Sadly, there are plenty of people/reports that raises the question: How long will this last before I experience issues?
Neat idea, awesome technology and all but what good is it if it fails? Hopefully it doesn't. At least not after a short run like some of their mouses (since this line of Razer products seem to catch the most heat with tracking issues/click issues etc etc) do.
This mouse is is fucking stupid. you're paying 250$ for a wireless mouse that has all the drawbacks of a wired mouse.
or they could use old Swiss watch technology, charging up the mouse from motion
the mouse mat looks too thicc
I dunno about "world's first"... maybe for a gaming mouse. This has been a thing from Wacom for well over a decade. Before their Intuos tablets supported "touch" they always included a wireless mouse that would work on the pad in exactly the same way... no batteries or anything needed.
This should be forbidden just like wireless phone charging. The best ones have 50% efficiency, that's poor compared to the ~=80% of a standard charger.
I see razer like this.
For hardware they have the avengers, the strongest, the best team working on it
For software they got ed edd and eddy up in that shit making god knows what the fuck
unnecessary expense, there is nothing wrong with having a cable on your mouse... it's more responsive to be directly connected and i see no benefit in losing the cord while spending lots of money on something that's apt to break anyway.
What if you want to take the mouse somewhere, are you expected to take the mouse mat also?
Logitech's solution is better.
I mean... it's wireless but it's not really wireless nor convenient since you NEED the pad for it to be wireless. Saying it's a better solution than Logitech is kind of dumb..
They blurred out an rgb keyboard. That's the reason for the re-upload.
what is that blurred thing ????
Keyboard for sure. Wasn't blurred in the last upload I saw yesterday
Sleepy prolly razer's new secret project
Its a keyboard, there are other photos of it online. I guess it was only there to get opinions on it, although those guys and another forum (they never took the post down yet) seemed to let the cat out of the bag.
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
JenjarPlays link?
I am thinking about buying a blackwidow v2. But i am concerned that razer is going to release a new model as i buy one. What do you think ? Please answer
Don't spend more than £25 on a mouse. Not worth
YUUUM MI it is lol, i'd say dont spend over 70$
I think he is talking about a keyboard not the mouse
Reupload?
What is the point of this design without a battery? Is that twice lighter than regular wireless mouse or what?
Even if it is, are users really so dissatisfied with weight of wireless mouse to spend extra money on a mouse which doesn't even work without it's special mat?
I think the argument (and I think it's fairly valid) is that batteries tend to die very quickly with age compared to other electronics components. "very quickly" meaning a few years. A capacitor, like Razor uses in this, will last several decades at worst, and basically for hundreds of years in a best case scenario...
But this is all stupid anyway, because these people will replace the mouse within a few years regardless. Or break it in some other way that has nothing to do with the battery....
I like Corsair's chi solution more.
The magnetic field emitted by the mousepad delivers no noticable results on the human body. The reason you need to keep your cellphone away from the mousepad is because the signals might interfere. Trust me, im a physicist.
Mousemat size is still to small.
>wireless
>laser
Yeah, no. I'll keep buying old DA's until there's actually a better mouse anywhere on the market
wacom have worked like this for a long time
I know this is two years old, but really you're going to censor a fucking keyboard. What does it have the fucking launch codes for the nuclear football inscribed on it.
New Razer Keyboard!
it was just a new keyboard with rgb leds on the wrist pad as well. Nothing to see here.
Haha, they blurred out the new unreleased keyboard xD.
I feel I saw this video before... Reupload?
they forgot to blur the secret keyboard
I don't like it. I want the use a mouse mat of my own choosing, which just happens to be a Steelseries.
I really dont like Razers software. It's terrible. And for some reason when I had it running it made my games, especially Rainbow Six Siege, load extremely slow. Now it loads instantly, but when I used Razer products it took around 30 seconds. Plus I've had really bad experiences with their mice. I went with Logitech after my Razer one broke and it's still kicking after almost 3 years....Logitech just needs to make a G502 wireless.
but a batery is just 95p why waste your money on this!?!?
also restricted to a tiny ass mouse pad
Neat, but this also feels very preliminary.
This is complete bullshit and no matter how you look at it Logitech's wireless mice with powerplay are hands down better. 9g diffence in weight and you get 30 hour battery vs 30 seconds of battery not to mention Logitech's outstanding track record when it comes to building long lasting and durable products vs cheap overpriced crap that starts malfunctioning after a year tops.
Razer HyperFlux-Flu=Razer Hyperx
Almost as thick as a phone book
so what happens if your mousepad is all used up? Trash all? Or does razer expect mouse will be broken before the pad :).
Mind blowing 😊
Expensive, but seems like a cool solution to get a quality wireless mouse under 100 grams.
Is no one gonna mention that green light on the mouse and mouse-pad and how it seems like a permanent static green for an "RGB" $250 bundle ?
Razer = Apple
Logitech = Samsung
Razer copies Logitech
Apple copies Samsung
Jelle So wrong.
lol da mousepad size, for ants?
nope
Dumb release 12 years ago, there were some mouses that worked like this and costed 20 euros. Rekt razer re releasing new old tech..
Lol publishing error!
thank you tesla
The problem is... this guy is boring where’s Dimitri ?
Quite useless. What is the benefit of having no batteries while having a power cord, though not directly in it.
More way to waste my money
Khe
Does it cause cancer?
Yes.
yes
Killacamfoo O.G. probably
No, but they recommend that you use it less than 2.5hrs per day
Of course not. Magnetic fields are everywhere. The higher the frequency, the greater the energy of the magnetic field. This little device puts out milliwatts of energy in the UHF band. Your own body generates 100W to 500W in the infrared region--much more electromagnetic radiation and much more energetic radiation.
Order you cancer inducing mouse mats here!!!!!
The software part of Razer is baaaaad
That is the deal killer for me... I ditched Synapse years ago and never looked back. Also let's mention that this mouse pad base seems pretty thick too, probably not really comfortable.
cac2244 synapse 3 is way better.
Synapse 3 looks promising, unfortunately it's in beta and doesn't support my razer products just yet. so i can't say if its good.. but looks promising, a long needed upgrade.
There's an 15 grams difference between this mouse and the Logitech one, there's no fucking way that you could feel anything different in the weight of these 2 mouses. Such a shame that you'd post a biased review only looking for ways this product is better than the Logitech mouse when in reality you fabricate this differences in your mind just because you like Razer more. I really like the HardwareCanucks channel, too bad this shit is on the channel.
15 grams is indeed significant...15% based on a heavy gaming mouse (at average 100 gr). I removed 12 grams off of my Cooler Master MM530 and the difference is huge. I also have the Logitech Powerplay and G903 mouse and G903 with the connector base or with the regular base is clearly noticeable. Not clickbaiting here, I just want to post my opinion, but if incredulous, click on my user and you will see my vids that prove my point based on my own unbiased purchases and first hand experience. Dimitry is 100% unbiased and accurate on this statement (not sure in general) but on this one, he is dead-on.
LOL the Razor mouse is lighter than most other mouses whilst the Logitech one is right in the middle of the ones mostly used in competitive play. What the fuck are you talking about.
FoXz I argee with you no hate but I think it a idiotic decision to have no battery so if you are on go gamer you can't you it because It have battery someone will say "It can last 20 seconds" may I ask can you win a game match with in 20 seconds? No 100 gram+ is my sweet spot because my style of play is a bit sniper alike and heavier mouse make it more accurate atleast for me so I think it weird but I don't hate it.
Well, this mouse isn't actually wireless since you need a wire for your mousepad. It feels like it's wireless but you need to bring the wire and that big, unyielding mousepad with you if you're going to move it somewhere. I wouldn't say that 15 grams would be worth losing out on having a battery, especially since they cost the same amount of money with the Logitech one being a lot more versatile.
Second
Too bad the mamba is an absolute shit mouse.
What's the point of this? If you are going to need to plug a wire into the Mouse pad than why not plug it into the mouse anyways. Actually you know what? Just get a wired mouse in the 1st place.
You don't drag a cable with this solution and you can have a fully charged mouse if you want to take it with you and your laptop (although you can't charge this one, so it's more for the Logitech and Corsair solutions). A cable can be really annoying with a laptop, actually, and it can disturb you even at a desk. It feels nice to have a wireless mouse, as if your movements aren't limited anymore. The charging mousepad just makes the whole charging process more convenient.
Cable drag.
I guess you missed the part where there is no battery? You can't take it with you anywhere. It either has to be plugged in or used with this mouse pad. It's a paperweight otherwise.
Alex if you have used a G403,G703,G900 or G903 then you would know the wire delete is massive
Because you’re not a fps gamer. You won’t know the goods of wireless.
first.
How much cancer does it cause?
as much as ur mum
That Mousepad looks thick AF and where is the reason behind a wireless mouse when you a need a Mousepad with a wire to power it?...
You won't be flinging the wire around with it attached to the pad unlike the mouse and you can better cable manage it since it doesn't have to move constantly
Im glad i get RGB and CANCER!!
All in one...
Do i also get free health care from Razer ?
Apple Health Care too ?
Fucking toxic shit
