We have the DVD of Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance. My son used to watch it as a little boy and dance around the living room to it. He used to play it nearly every day after school or at weekends. He was always playing it. I must find it and remind him. Perhaps at Christmas time.
It's so interesting to watch how God works in people's lives. I had a lot of trauma in my youth and remember singing the chorus of this song quite frequently, though I didn't know the verses or tied it to Christianity. It wasn't until I was in my mid-40s that I learned the full meaning of the song. To think that God had planted it as a seed to help me through such a very difficult life is dumbfounding. God is so good to me!

I not religious as such, and listen to heavy metal music,but this is the first song that I heard at primary school that made me feel happy and want to dance, I thought the words were "I am the Lord of the dance settee".
