I dont know when ever I see any thing related to A.M.U., I feel why am not there, my eyes always get filled with tears. And in my every prayer I pray to Allah, that please save A.M.U. from any bad happening.

I happened to see this today: Aslam and I used to sing together on many occasions in Aligarh. Aslam sang very beautifully. My compliments. By the way, in this version some of the stanzas or omitted. Although i am not an Alig....the biggest impression on me is Sir Sayyed and the AMU....i have visited only 3 times to AMU....but the every bit of it ignites immense passion in me....the sleflessness and restlessness of Sir Sayyed....the Tarana of AMU....and this beautiful nazm by Afroz Taj brings tears to my eyes whenever i listen to it ....thank you Janab Afroz Taj saheb......Qaum ko phir ek Sir Sayyed ki zarurat hai

When you are living in Aligarh it doesn't feel anything but when you leave the place that place never leave you that place live inside you after leaving aligarh you can't live peacefully anywhere... Whenever you listen the word aligarh from anywhere that word give you Goosebumps then after it will blessing of Allah if you can get an alig partner in your life and cherish together those moments you live in Aligarh

I am thrilled to see Aslam Bhai live after a long time singing beautiful famous Nazm written by Afroz Taj Saheb which was very popular during 70s in the campus. But this nazm have many more stanzas. Aslam Bhai use to be very popular ghazal singer in the campus. I have the privilege to share stage of Kennedy House Auditorium many times with Aslam Bhai in many folk and group songs specially I still cherish the memories of being in university tarana team with him and Shamim Bhai during the convocation ceremony in which that time president of India Janab Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Saheb graced that memorable occasion Khursheed Bahrain
