For your information, he was participating in protest for "HIKE IN THE FEE AMOUNT OF JNU" (as it was very clear that he said he can't afford to pay more, reason being he's visually impaired, he has no father and mom is house wife. But still he sings , attends mushairas and earn and manage to pay the current fee). Similarly there are lots of students who can't afford to pay more. Anyways while protesting he was beaten up by police even though he was seen removing his glasses to show he has impaired vision.
