Same as me, and with a hand on my heart I can say that I literally can't live two days max without seeing Nagito at least once.

Here's what I got for Ian's "compelling" backstory. He had a mom who died, and his father remarried. Ares is the child of both Ian's father and hers, making her his half-sister. And Ian just traps Ares in her room (or she traps herself) all the time and treated her like shit.

Apparently there are 3 more endings you can get in the game though, Jay.
One ending is if you stab Ian in the chest
Another one is if you type 0617 into the drawer padlock
And the last one is if you don't get the knife out of the drawer and go to where Ian reveals his sister was holding the keys.
(No need to do it if you don't want to though! Just thought I'd let you know if you did wanna get some more endings.)

Theory: Ian had like a close relationship with his bio mom, however she either left the picture or died, and his father remarried to Anya. Ian didn't like this and possibly killed her and his father (one of the heads in the box kinda looks like him? Ik Ian said he's "out traveling" but cmon why should we believe him) and the photograph of Ian and his mom says "June 17th" and it's not rlly clear what exactly that date means but maybe it's the reason he's so obsessed with June? Idk if her name being June is just a coincidence or had meaning to that, but that's just what i think.

I also think that either Ian killed his father, or he unalived himself because of the way that Anya freaked out about the windows and said something about her father before she stopped responding to june
Finally, a game where the main character has common sense.

Tbh, she falls flat a-lot of the times. She doesn’t heed her friends warnings for the most part, and the canon ending shows just that as she willingly proceeds against common sense by entering a strangers house.

I feel like the creator wasn't sure of what type of character was Ian going to be so they just mushed it all in but the game is oddly calming.
He didn't give me the feeling that he was obsessively into June. The only thing he did about love was saying "I love you" Apart from that, he just gave me the typical serial killer vibe. Like you said, it seemed like the creators couldn't make a decision about him

The deveolper says there are 5 endings! Also, I'd love to see you playing the sequel (the dev says that this is the first installment of a series)! The game looks very good and Ian is a very interesting character, but we don't get to know him well...

I love how the game show what happens to the victim People think kidnapping and killing is easy and enthusiastic but as soon as reality comes the person himself gets hallucinations you forget the fun Because the idea of death itself is terrifying and a weapon next to you And many people have been exposed to psychological trauma and this is real because of this thing and they suffer to be treated 😥
