Super video....as always! I always look forward to you releasing new ones and this time I've been spoiled because it's in two parts!! The vulture you saw was the griffon vulture (not griffin...sorry🙈....) which you can also see in southern Spain and on Mallorca. Yellow legged gulls are also very common in those two places. I'm in Germany at the moment and Serins and Black redstarts are birds I've seen quite often.....and the Ring necked parakeets, which roost in swarms here. With the racket they make and the sh.t they leave under their roosting trees, often in town centres, wring neck parakeets would be a better name (because many would like to wring their necks). Please keep on birdwatching for I'd miss your videos!
Nice video Nigel (we met in Somerset). Did I perchance spot a preening Feruginous Duck - white undertail coverts - in the background behind the Grt Flamingos? Immediately after the Lifer For Kayleigh Y-L Gull.
Just found you recently & have subbed. As a lifelong birdwatcher l loved the video. Back in the 70's, as a Zoology student, a group of us went for a 4 week field trip to the Camargue. (studying a burrowing Bee called Bembex). I'll never forget the bird life down there! A highlight for me were the amazing numbers of Bee Eaters with their lovely, chirping trill. All the best, John.
Not beavers I'm afraid. They are coypu.... very common in the Camargue. If you go out along the roads early in the morning you'll find the harriers feasting on the night's coypu road kill.

Great video. The beavers are Coypu i think
it had a flat paddle like tail. could that still be a Coypu?
@@TheBackyardAviaryAdventures Coypu or Nutria have rat-like tails, unlike the European Beaver which has a flat, paddle-like tail.
Great video but the "beaver" wasnt actually a beaver it was a nutria they are very common in europe.
I did wonder. I have seen them in Stuttgart

Yep I’ve also seen those “beavers” I thought at the Camargue, turned out they were coypu indeed
