Followed the whole tutorial, subbscribed to your patreon and was able to ger everything working perfectly within 3 hrs, can't thnak you enough!!!
Thanks.
Man you’re a life saver! Ive been trying to work through this for a few days till I found your video! Thanks for sharing
Hi, Ed. Is the firmware.bin file necessary?
I want to upload the firmware.bin file by following your video, but it doesn't upload. What should I do?
Best regards
Hi, Ed. Great video!. I am beginning to think i have a bad board. I am unable to update the firmware on my E3EZ. I have tried the firmware off of your Patreon as well as running the make process myself. I have done this successfully in the past on stock E3V2/RPi set up; however, i am finding no joy with this set up. Any ideas?
There's a link in the video description for discord either myself or someone else can help. Last person with an issue had a bad SD card.
Is firmware.bin file is necessary because pi imager gives an error at %100 saying your sd card might be broken
The error displayed for the SD card has to do with the filesystem image being recognized by Windows. There are multiple partitions on the SD card after imaging. The klipper.bin software or firmware.bin is a different variable in setup.
Do you have a tutorial for E3EZ CB2 emmc? 5:03 I don't hear a beep.
Not yet. Is there a version number on board?
@@EdwardBraiman Thank you. The version number is E3EZ V1.0 . I ended up using a MicroSD card to write the system to eMMC. I refer to the pi2 user manual.
Just ordered CB2, it's coming Friday.
Figured out install, now I need to figure out how to reset before install. BTT documentation is terrible.
Should in theory be able to record tonight.
This guide is really helpfull ! What i am missing is where i can find the u-boot file..
Why is uboot required?
@@EdwardBraiman it was just the file, that you need (and you used) to install the driver finally..I found it under those "sun-tools". Thanks for your guide ! Finally, after a long time, i was able to install it successfully.
Do you have a tutorial for m8p v2.0 cb1 emmc?
Soon first posting videos on Patreon, then releasing to RUclips. CB1 emmc is next post on Patreon.
hi, when i update to the newest mcu will not connect anymore to klipper...
Which MCU are you referring too?
error "The klippy host software is attempting to connect" ... that means the serial of the board has changed : "ls /dev/serial/by-id/" will get the new serial, witch has to be put in the printer.cfg
I'm struggling. I have the emmc cbi and manta e3ez and tft35spi. I have zadig the sunxi.fel and I have the u-boot-sunxi-cb1-emmc.bin.
When in zadig I can not find the driver at all.
I do not have any klupper firmware at all yet but I have the cb1 stuff on a micro SD and attempted to set system and the board environment. But without a driver I really don't know what to do
Should be in video description.
@EdwardBraiman ok I got it installed before it keeps failing to get network connection I tried to use the touch screen and it's impossible to type in and check or fix the internet.
I do not know how to reconnect the emmc and check or adjust the internet setting in system.
When I connect the USB it does not open the cb1
@@Michaelhood0 had the same ! i can see the cb1 with zadig, set the driver, ... but emmc does not show in windows, neither with balenaEtcher neither with Raspberry Pi Imager ! ... how did you solve that ?
