Thanks for this. I've just installed the CB2 into my Manta M5P. I gave up trying to follow the manual and had nothing but trouble with the BalenaEtcher.
Hey Ed, I have a CB2 with an OS already installed, and I want to flash a new OS via SD card. I tried following the erasing process in the manual, but it didn't work. Should I hold the SW1 switch so the eMMC will not boot? Thanks!
i had error "The klippy host software is attempting to connect" ... that means the serial of the board has changed : "ls /dev/serial/by-id/" will get the new serial, witch has to be put in the printer.cfg
Hi ed, on a manta e3ez and a cb1 emmc, the emmc does not show up, and sudo nand-sata-install does show only 1 choice : choice 5 : "install/update the bootloader on sd/emmc" - any advice ?
And if for some problem you need to reinstall the system, how do you do it? Would it be the same way or the other way via the PC directly on the motherboard?
In theory you can flash directly with jumpers 3 and 4 and special software from BTT to configure the driver which is covered in earlier tutorials. My preference is this method as it's less time consuming.
Thanks for this.

The BalenaEtcher will fail everytime if the image file is compressed. You have to uncompress the file first.
why did you say no for customization on pi imager? you set your network SSID and password there.
concerning the temp error, you can set the temperature min_temp: -200 in the printer.cfg on both bed and extruder
Hello, is it possible to set up CB1 in the way you described? Thank you.
