Hello good morning. I have a manta m8p v2.0 board with Klipper but no video comes out of the micro HDMI port. Do I have to do something or configure something extra to activate the HDMI output of this Board? Because it gives you video through the micro HDMI port. Greetings
I am having the same problem! I can only get HDMI output when I have the USB-C powering the board, but not when I have the board powered via the terminals.
Hey! Thank you so much for this video. Really useful. There is however one thing that I don't really understand. All the installation is for the CB1, but you mentioned that the MBO / MCU already comes with firmware installed on it. Is there a way to verify the firmware version? Do we do that through the Klipper page? In my head, the MBO and the CB1 are two different things that work together, so I don't really understand why we do nothing for the MBO. Thanks again!
Thank you for the excellent video, it helped me a lot. Do you have plans to make a video explaining the installation of a Canbus SB2209/2240 on the Manta M8P 2.0? Thanks
I have got the same problem too, Ip doesn't pop up for the board , Since it is been 5 days were you able to find a solution for that if so please tell me
There are 2 hdmi ports if you plug into the wrong one like he did it won't work Pushing down on the board might help but that wasn't what fixed his problem
@@EdwardBraiman thx yeh I had chatgpt answer this for me haha :) I like this board, but having severe issues with the canbus and with my thermistor (well ok the thermistor issue comes from the EBB SB2240). The canbus doesn't appear on the /dev/serial .. I do find it with that flash-util, but every soft reboot will break it and I have to hard turn it off/on again, frustrating af
Hi, i followed your instruction here but after i insert the sdcard nothing seem happened. I use raspberry pi imager but always got verify failed. I use other like belena and rufus but seem nothing happened either. I cannot detect the IP address. CB1 is green. What could possibly wrong?
@@EdwardBraiman is there any specific specification for sd card? Since if i format into fat32 i can use it just fine. It can write just fine with rufus but when i inserted to manta, nothing happened. Just blank screen.
I'm on the Tera Term step and when I paste "ls /dev/serial/by-id/*" into it I get the error "No such file or directory biqu@BTT-CB1:~$ " Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I went though the video 3x and I'm 99% sure I did everything the exact same. :S
Very Good video , will be using this as soon as my arrives. Thanks Ed!
Thank You for this!
Excellent video, just order one. Love it. It was a lot of condensed info 😢 thanks
Thanks.

Have one, just working on the steps.
@@EdwardBraiman Awesome Ed!
Can you do a video on how to connect the new exp1/ exp2 connector to a screen
Waiting on HW to do it.
lovely video. Sadly im having problems with getting the mcu-ip of my board. is there any other way to get the ip?

IP issues normally boil down to WiFI router setup in file. There's a Discord link in description of video.

Can you help with EBB canbus 2209 rp2040 firmware update, i get an error message
I still don't fully get what the 5v jumper is for. Ok to power the cm4 when installing, but do you remove it when you're done?
5v jumper os to show you, you can load with 5v rather than with PSU power.

@djmulder yeah the stuff I don't cover normally has issues.

Bad SD card seems to come to mind.

Hola, puedes comprobar si al día de hoy, puedes usar marlin en m8p V2 ? Gracias (última versión de marlin sale la placa base)
Sí. Solo necesita existir en el archivo boards.h.

I rebooted my PC and it started working. *shrug*
There's a discord link in

lembra de descomenta o hostname="BTT-CB1" tirando o # pra poder em vez de entrar por IP entra pelo nome
