This was the first CJ Tudor book I read. It's a great story and is the reason why I had to read more by the author.

I enjoyed this although I felt like it was two books in one.

Do you think that's because of the different story line with the mysterious stranger?

@@TheHonestBookReviewer Yeah it has a mystery and paranormal arc that come together but I felt like maybe it could’ve been two books instead?

Ah, okay. I can see that. I think that's what CJ Tudor does with her books. They are always cross genre. Her latest book is a vampire horror cold case murder mystery. I think she enjoys blurring the lines.

@@TheHonestBookReviewer I liked it - don't get me wrong - but I did feel like one story was sort of current and the old case was another story, and I kind of ending up wanting more of both!!

I've had the same feeling from books before. It like a bitter-sweet feeling in a way.
