    To answer the question: Kislev. Limit the ice court to Katarin and an unlockable to Boris. Either buff the Faith mechanic for Kolstaltyn or change the ice court to be some sort of Ursun Church mechanic to give Lords and Patriarchs some unique options.

      make an ice court and a patriach court. Both Konstaltyn and Katerine can only unlock each other's court once they have won the faith race.
      Also to give some stakes to the belief war, make it so at the end you have to fight each other in a mission battle. Whoever won the race gets buffs and a small reinforcing army for the fight.

    The only reasonable answer to the question in my opinion has to be Norsca. There are only 2 lords in the faction and while they are on paper so different that its insane that they are even a part of the same faction, atm they are nearly identical with most differences between them being passive unit buffs.

      The core lizardman effect is a wet fart, the geomantic web should be made more impactful - like making places habitable perhaps by enabling extra province bonus's, but then you pay for it.

    I would like to see The Everqueen get mechanics similar to Karl for making the various High Elf factions work together and lean more into the influence and intrigue at court. Her current mechanic for defending Ulthuan and keeping non HE factions off the island I think should be developed more and given to Tyrion.

      I have this feeling that CA will or at least had planned to work on the vampire counts because they may be developing a pattern of leaving Legendary Lords of races they will work on in the Realms of Chaos map, see Karl Franz and Ungrim Ironfist. At least, that's a pattern i am seeing with this latest DLC set. But then again, plans change, and this could be a one-off pattern.

    Seeing Vlad in the empire map really makes me hope that he’ll join in the imperial politics with the VC update
    Also I do think Norsca NEEDS that update, I’d like to see what they do to update the rivalry mechanic for Kislev in the future

    19:35 question, I'd love to see Settra and the Tomb Kings in general see some love, i was so excited for this DLC because my top three races are Dwarves, Empire, and Tomb Kings, so if we got an update for them like this, i would never complain about CA again lmao

    I really like when they go back and change up the faction effects and bonuses that certain lords have to take advantage of the expanded design space. Karl Franz moving away from being the Greastsword/Reiksguard guy means that space is opened back up for others to potentially fill, like Kurt Helborg who would focus heavily on the various knight units, especially Reiksguard (and probably come with Ludwig Schwartzhelm as a Legendary Hero)

      The whole faction really. The last dlc they got was ghorst which was the first dlx and didn't have specific faction mechanics at that stage.

      Heinrich Kemmler shouldn't really have the blood kiss mechanic. I would like him to have an alternative mechanic that centers on wights instead.

    Seeing as I have only recently gotten the game, learned about the update brings me some hope, and speaking my first campaign I did after getting all three and booting up immortal empires with my friends I was instantly drawn to the Skaven, especially after hearing more about their lore from them, Locked in Iket Claw, battle brothers picked Tyrion and Karl, and for my first ever campaign he decided to go for Ultimate Crisis, I got to Role Play Germany fighting the Beastmen and Saltspite, was one of the best introductions

    My pick for your question at the end would be: Bretonnia. My reason is that pretty much none of them has truly unique mechanics. There's pretty much no difference between King Leoin, Fay enchantress or Albaric except for their start positions. The one starting in Southlands has a very small change if I recall correctly but even she is pretty much identical to the others.
    Other factions all have lords that has differences (Lizardmen has Oxy, Nakai and Tehen. High Elves have Alith, warden and Imrik ect.)
    So Bretonnia has the most need for it at the moment and you would get the most differences with Bretonnia. (They would get 4 different mechanisms, where the others might only get 2.)
    Also Bretonnia is in a pretty bad position at the moment after the minor settlement changes and could use a buff.

    20:10 Norsca desperately need a rework. They've only had 2 lords since WH1 and it shows. I want to see a 'region' mechanic like state troops for a new LL (or maybe Wulfric?), where if you've conquered, vassalized, or allied a region, it will give you region-specific troops, like Kurgan horseriders or Albion druids and giants. That would make Norsca factions feel more unique and when uniting them, really give that feel of uniting a vast confederation of tribes under your bloody banner

    In answer to the ending question: Lizardmen, geomantic web definitely needs a teleport mechanic and way better bonuses for building up to tier 5, I'm talking -2 turn recruitment and -50% recruitment cost and +6 recruit ranks for tier 5 alignment of war, +50% income +50 growth for tier five alignment of crafting though maybe replace the growth with something else since the main settlement would have to already be tier 5 at that point. Something along those lines to make their unique mechanic actually unique lol.

      Especially as in lore the lizardmen are *Literally* the only faction that can teleport entire armies like that.

In effect it does make sense for things like the Worldroots (though ideally I would want those to have a 1 or 2 turn travel timer like the sea lanes), but I don't see how Gardens of Morr should allow Elspeth to teleport unless there's Shadow magic involved but that doesn't make sense since the Morrites don't allow magic inside of them. Oxyotl's XCOM campaign is the only teleport mechanic that I think makes 100% sense lore wise in-game.

    Looks fantastic. Those diplomatic bonuses and mechanics might make this my favorite campaign.
    As for your question, I'd love an update for Wood Elves, especially one that would feature more order aligned elves (and I mean actual elves), such as Skarloc (voiced by Orlando Bloom of course) and Araloth (simple-ish vanilla+ lord, he could be implemented similarly to either Alastar or Gor Rok). With Skarloc I'd love to see him being able to travel around the map and perform tasks or quests, similar to Oxyotl, but as a reward you'd get diplomatic bonuses - reflecting his fight with N'kari in Ulthuan to protect Alarielle and Tyrion. Since you want your forests' bumper zones safe and friendly with each other, it all culminates into a big alliance and the bonuses from the Oak of Ages would seep even to your allies (such as removal of corruption). I'd also love a Scarloc specific feature of being able to assist your allies in battles, even if you're not present in the region initially. And being able to upgrade your archer units (glade guards into scouts into waywatchers, similar to Gelu in Heroes of Might and Magic 3 :) ).
    I think the big mechanic would be healing of worldroots - you could build and upgrade an outpost type of building in allied territories (or maybe even in enemy territories, similar to undercities) that would in the end let you use it as a destination during world roots travel. Giving you the option to save the day or pillage, depending on your current gameplay.

    as far as i saw in other streams, only balthasar (and elspeth ?) got state troops tree because volkmar gets state troops from books of nagash, and wulfhart got a very rare case of getting some from reinforcement, exept if you checked and saw that they added it (i would really love to have these techs for the other LL)

    I know Dwarfs are getting a lot this patch / DLC, but I think they still need a bit more to make them really good.
    Because I think the new grudge system would make dwarfs more aggresive as opposed to the defensive, grumbling-in-the-holds-over-old-grudges nature in the lore, I propose following chages and additions.
    1) Thorgrim
    If you play as Thorgrim, it should be your job keeping the Karaz Ankor is powerful enough to settle grudges and preventing it from perishing while doing so.
    So, it's actually you who declares the beginning of Age of Reckoning for whole dwarf-kind.
    Similiary to the Military alliance system, you could make dwarf faction leaders make an Oath to attack or defend something: "Malakai, don't loose Kraka Drak! Belegar, raze Skavenblight! Thorek, defeat Skarbrand!" and those targets would get additional multiplier to the grudge-points that get's rewarded (or subtracted) if the oath is fulfilled.
    And if an AI is playing Thorgrim the Grudge system could be kept as it is, or it would be a cycle of X turns until 10 turns of Reckoning.
    2) Grombrindal
    Grombrindal would be simpler. You could spend your grudge-points to give a dwarf army from different faction, a bonus on attack or defending.
    For small amount increase the auto-resolve by lending only Grombrindal for the battle, or for bigger amount teleport Grombrindal's army to reinforce the other dwarfs, and thus playing the battle alongside them.
    You'd be spending some of your earned grudge-points to secure a bigger payout at the evaluation of success of Age of Reckoning.
    Some skills could lower the point cost or even allow you to reinforce armies of non-dwarf factions, if those armies have dwarf units in them.
    3) Ungrim
    If an Oath is unfulfilled at the end of Age of Reckoning, you get new slayer units from other dwarf factions.
    Slayer-hammerers from Thorgrim with armor sundering, for example.
    Couldn't think about something truly special for Belegar. Thorek and Malakai already have their really good faction mechanics.

    To answer the question I would like the Vampire Counts to receive the update. Specially Heinrich Kemmler should feel much more unique as the only non Vampire LL. He should loose access to the blood kiss mechanic and have a system to recruit special Wights or something like that.

    This new way of literally summoning the elector counts is going to go brrrrrrrrrrrr so damn hard. Imagine being literally any force invading the empire. You see Karl Franz pull up on the edge of your campaign line of sight, and next turn from seemingly the heavens themselves come 12 empire armies that just swarm your frontline

    I think the vampire counts desperately need a rework, I'd like Vlad to be added into the elector count system. Even the devs expressed their desire to do so but apparently its quite hard

    For the end question, for me, it's the Lizardmen, am I a bit biased? Yes.
    The Geomantic Web is far too passive a campaign race mechanic for what it could be. Factions like Tehenhauin and Oxyotl are good for where they're at, but I feel like Kroq-Gar and Mazdamundi are just not where they should be.
    Perhaps Mazdamundi could have a mechanic centered around waking up all the Slaan, culminating in them marching out to eradicate those that shouldn't be on the planet.
    I could see Kroq-Gar having a mission mechanic sort of like Oxyotl, except his is focused on teleporting to Lizardmen temple cities under siege, then relieving them by assaulting the enemy army.

    id like to see the vampire coast get something like maybe one of them has a shorter cool down to making coves another has a treasure hunt mechanic were they can send an army to raid certain factions and hunt the Loot and another could get mechanic similar to groms cauldron but for sheet music and each music peace has different buffs for different units or can spend infamy to boost and army or make cheaper recuting using infamy

    I agree that the two High Elves factions you talked about need some love.
    Teclis needs an Ice Court or Gelt's College of Magic mechanic. Maybe he could get an mechanic where he gets aid every so often from Ulthuan.
    Tyrion just needs some love as well since he is very vanilla right now and he is in charge of the main High Elf faction. Also, he needs no diplomatic penalty in High Elf territory (most faction leaders need this as well when it makes sense. So, Katarina shouldn't be able to freely walk in Kostaltyn's territory since they hate each other). Since, the beginning Dark Elf faction near Avelorn and N'Kari takes out the northern High Elf factions. Plus, an Vampire Coast faction always takes Caledor every game. I try to help them but I always make the other High Elf factions hate me for trespassing and it takes too long sometimes for some factions to give me access to their territories through diplomacy.
    Alarielle also needs some love as well. She also shouldn't incur trespassing penalties in High Elf territory since she is the beloved EverQueen.

    Vampire counts, 100% give them stuff actually related to the bloodlines, not just random undying lords, like the state troops, for example: for each strigoi you awake you can also recruit some specail ghouls and the next tier, crypt horrors and so on.

    I would definitely say the lizardmen, one, to get unique mechanics for the lords you mentioned, but two a big one for me being hopefully Nakai getting a major overhaul for his horde and vassal

    It took me until now to realize that the +5% weapon strength and missile damage per XP rank increase "Base" Strength, but not armor piercing strength. Which explains why my Carroburg greatswords were not getting as big as a buff as I thought they would get. I hope CA considers changing that, otherwise it ruins my plan of an army made of mostly handgunners, halberdiers and greatswords elector count state troops.

    I would want the lizardmen to have some more unique mechanics. maybe an alarielle type mechanic for mazdamundi where if the other factions are "back where they belong" they get bonuses to the entire faction. that does seem to be very difficult with the current ally and battle mechanics so it might be like the changeling thing where after the ones that "don't belong" are removed from the region, there is a quest battle to complete the region.

    To answer your question at the end, I really do want the Skaven to be updated. Skrolk ABSOLUTELY deserves a unique mechanic ESPECIALLY with the focus Nurgle has recently got.
    I also love playing Queek because hes my favorite Skaven but his faction is so boring, and he has NO incentive to kinda follow his themes of clanrats and infantry just because theyre so bad while weapons teams are so good.

    For the next race overhaul, Id say Lizardmen. Even if it doesnt make every LL unique, the geomantic web mechanic needs a revamp.
    Otherwise, Dark Elves, especially Malekith, needs a rework aswell. The slaves system has to be more interactive and nortern border needs more protection (such as watchtowers that are already displayed on the map, but do nothing).
    Also Vlad having access to Elector Counts mechanic, either fron the start or after taking Altdorf would be nice, although its not as urgent

    Do I understand correctly that if you reinstall electrol count you will get fealty of all other electrol counts? Because otherwise I don't see reason to not capture settlements instead of revivng them.

    I would love a little fleshing out for Bretonnia. Maybe something like a crusade mechanic, that you can call all Bretonnians (or at least in the area) to war against a specific faction.

    I am very biased on this, but I would want the Greenskins to get this treatment. I want Grimgor to have an "Ard Boyz" mechanic and azhag could have more interactions with the crown of nagash. Skarsnik and Wurrzag could also use some new mechanics.

    about karl franz treatment, there are potential:
    top for me: DELF (malekith with ulthuan unification & morathi more in depth when dechala units come with annointed and so on)
    really special mention to our dear skrolk with no in dept mechanic :(
    but anything could happen for other races (HELF & NORSCA would be really nice)
    note: imagine cylostra with a "song crafting" mechanic where she can create different song to curse enemies

    That's a tough question. I think I'd go with Norsca because I'm a big time chaos fan and love myself some vikings from home. Altough Lizardmen wouldn't be a bad choice either - luckily SFO Grimhammer does a pretty good job there in my opinion.

    Vlad von Carstein, Vampire Counts schould get an akcess to part of Empire machinations and if they own Altdorf and have special building Vlad schould get akcess to summon an elector counts and all empire special units. Also Vampires schould have akcess to Chaos Wariors mechanic of force vasalization. But when wampire force vasalize a fraction it schould repleace a current lord of a fraction with a Vampiric wersion of that lord.

    Question regarding the "Summon the elector counts" thing. It says in the tooltip its only unlocked when you controll all elector seats. But doesnt that mean there are no elector counts alive to summon?

    For the question at the end: I'd have to go for Bretonnia! I'd love to see a simular mechanic for Louen Leoncoeur and some more specific mechanics for Alberic and the Fey Enchantress. Maybe some Knights focussed stuff that is more crusade-like for Alberic (maybe cool knight units if you manage to complete a specific crusade) and some kind of magic court for the Fey Enchantress. But I would love Louen to feel a bit more like a King. Now he's just a random dude in the North of Bretonnia and he can't do anything to stop the rest of Bretonna from callapsing, eventhough Bretonnia is more centralised and united than the Empire is in the lore I believe. Bretonnia has gotten very little love since they released back in WH1, so I'd love to see them fleshed out a bit more.

    Tbh id love for the Kislev Lords to get their own mechanics.
    I remember when WH3 got announced CA said that every lord would get their own mecanics. Rn it feels pretty obvious that they only had time for katarin and then just gave her stuff to Boris and kostaltin even tho it doesnt really work imo.
    I think they really need the Update they didnt get with shadows of change.
    (Same thing with the iron dragon and the storm dragon imo; but i had to pick one)

    I'd love for the races of chaos to have some sort of unholy alliance mechanic between them that can be full of back-stabbing and vendettas and whatnot. If the goals of two or more chaos gods allign for whatever reason, there should be a mechanic for it. It's famously said that if Chaos learned to collaborate with itself it'd easilly win, but it never truly succeeds at this. That's what I'd want this mechanic to represent. Alliances that break for chaos-reasons.

    Vampire Counts definitely. Mannfred really is the only one with a unique gimmick (and it’s not that unique just more lore appropriate with an interesting start locale). All their characters play like von Carstein vampires which seems odd. It should be hard for Kemmler and Ghorst to field vampires and vampire units.

    Answer to question: even though WoC recently got update, Archaon should of got a more special mechanic where he could pull from ALL Chaos races (units, heros, lords in a limited capacity) Dorghar being the shape shift daemon mount that it is, should get another one or two “transformations. Maybe a chimera or chaos dragon.

    For me it's the High Elves that need an "Empire" overhaul. Give Tyrion some more unifier/"call the elector counts" abilities, and give Teclis a dilemna to take over Saphery.
    Furthurmore, giving High King Thorgrim an "Elector Counts"-esque ability would be nice.
    Give Volkmaar a Dilemna to take over Talabacland too would be extra nice, but now I'm just dreaming.

    I want no faction to be updated more than Norsca, but if I could only pick a single lord for such a style of update, it would probably have to be the King of Kings, whose absolute power and legacy warrants a mechanic to set him apart from the rest of his lowly peers.

    I'd want dwarf race to get unique lord gimmicks. Pre-patch 5.0 Thorgrim, Ungrim, and Grombrindal all feel like the same base gameplay, and everything people have shown seems to indicate that they'll still feel extremely similar moving forward.

    I would like to see a summon the chaos hordes to Archaon's banner mechanic. Where he invades the empire, kislev, cathay or lustria continent. Now Archaon is still very passive. He should bring the end times with hordes all over the place.

    I would love for the tomb kings to see a empire-like update on them, it seems like they put all 4 lore bits together for the TK in one but i would expect someone like settra or khalida to have something different (settra for a unification of pyramids and khalida with some neferata business) and it would be nice to not have 4 of the same campaign (also add vc to this as well)

    Mazdamundi needs an overhaul like Karl got, and Lizardmen in general need easier confederation. Never has there been a lizardmen civil war, why is that seemingly the only way to unite Lustria??

    For your final question; Bretonnia. It astounds me that there is no way to reinstate the lords who lost their territories to Grom, Ikit, and Kimmler. It makes the entire top portion of his tech tree pointless aside from the LLs, and even then it doesn't help you if they've been wiped from the map.

      that's a great point, getting a mechanic to restore the lands of other bretonnian factions would make the tech tree feel less bad when realistically, you are confederating maybe 2 minor factions among the entire list you need to go through to reach the other playable factions

    Norsca needs some unique gimmicks. Wulfrik should have a Oxyotl style challenging lords mechanic alongside seafang to teleport his army. Throgg should have a gimmick for recruiting all variants of trolls

    For the last part of the vid- I want tomb kings to get something special for each LL- sets up a good fight against Nagash if he gets in. Also I want the Khemric titan- since each DLC comes with one big unit.

    I would love a rework kinda like this for norsca and for them to have a fimir legendary lord and basically have 3 axes in their roster. Have wulfric be a wanderer who can teleport across the world with his warrior and mammoth. The troll king to focus and trolls and big beasts. And the fimir lord that will handle the other humanoid creatures. In terms of roster i love this faction

    I like the update. But I have questions😊. Maybe you could give me a hint: can he confederate the non elector count Empire factions now? Marienburg, Wulfhart, Volkmar? Marienburg he could after a patch and the others he couldn't up to now as far as I'm aware.

    For the question I personally feel Norsca would benefit from such update, specially since they could make both Wulfrik & Throgg Actually unique frome each other, but the rework will just help the faction as a whole.
