This is expensive, especially with two cats. Maybe use it once every six months or so? The litter I use is $11.99 for 20 lbs, and is often on sale for less. I change it every two weeks. To save money and litter, I make a mound in the center of the litter box, with just a little bit of litter in the rest of the box. Cats will naturally go to the mound. 🎶"It comes in colours everywhere; it's like a rainbow, Coming colours in the air, Oh, everywhere, it comes in colours" 🎶 Apologies to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. Happy Purrsday Eve!
We have 6 cats. Two boxes with Pretty litter and three with corn litter. The corn litter is great too. It doesn't have the indicator benefits but it lasts for weeks and doesn't get all over the house. It is also light weight. Then there is that one cat that has to have dirt....🤨 Th
Hey Doc, thanks for a great video! I’m about to be a new cat mom again and I’m looking for litter for kittens… I wonder if this is okay for little ones (12 weeks)? I’ve read clay litter is bad for kittens because it can climb up in their GI track if they eat it. Would this litter be safer? I really like it!
I like it, it’s very dust free, so there is no way it would get on the fur. I don’t think it’s good for any cat to eat litter, regardless of the type. But regardless it should be fine for kittens.
