He’s not that great of route runner yet more of a vertical threat. Still a good pick up tho
There is a difference between not being a great route runner and not being asked to run the whole route tree. He was asked to run specific routes from the tree and he excelled. This is a lazy take and is based off the narrative of everyone else’s opinions. Watch all of his tape.

Please review how the press gets mic'd. I can never hear them with any clarity without cranking my volume up, and even then it's difficult. Then when whoever is up on stage speaks I quickly have to adjust it downward.
There is going to be a lot of scoring in the AFC South. Texans got Diggs, Titans got Ridley and we have BTJ
Love the pick, solid trade compensation in return which regardless of who's taken at with the 2 future picks is forward thinking and possible future trade ammo.

Quinyon getting taken right before us sort of sucks.
I’m pretty sure that was their target. He was my CB1 (not that I’m credible, my CB2 is DeJean. Do with that what you will haha).
But I have Thomas at WR4 with WR as #1 need. He makes our team better and if our o-line takes a big step we’ll lead the league in passing. Can’t be disappointed in the potential.

They probably had Quinyon as WR 1 and Thomas as WR2. If Quinyon were there at 23 they would have taken him.

I wanted BTJ if we couldn't trade up for Nabers, but BTJ might be the better of the 2 and definitely has a good chance to have a better career and impact given their landing spots.

There was no chance to get MHJ or Nabers, BTJ was best case scenario. He has the size and speed you look for, he has a chance to be our true #1 for a long time. I like our chances given LSU first round WRs success, Minnesota is probably ok with getting LSUs #2 WR in the draft.
Their energy seems off… idk. Wonder if there was a difference of opinion in not trading up for Malik Nabers.

Jags doing what the jags do - they need to corner back and O-line help in a bad way and missed big time. I think that Aaron Glenn knows what a good corner looks like.
Our o-line need is most valuable in mid-late 2nd round and early third. We have capital to trade up and get a good CB. The CB I rated #2 is still on the board and multiple others.
Getting Trevor a target to develop with the next 4 years is a win. A good route runner who can get deep fast. Thomas and Davis on the outside forces defense to commit deep. Kirk, Engram, and Etienne are going to eat up the short and intermediates.
Team got better. Nothing to be mad about.
