Hot take: Buster Brown has a great year and makes people forget corner was ever really a big issue.
Yeah, SEC keep it local! Overall I personally feel good about our draft! Let's be positive & hope our Jaguars have a great year and that they return to the playoffs! I am really liking Keilan Robinson!
@@123shoshan *you're
You love it because they drafted a bunch of players from your favorite conference. Genius
What part of are GM's past draft record has you believing it's going to end any different year 4 of more trash coming out his mouth
Every year you guys say this crap and every year our draft class turns into a dud lol. This year will be no different.
@@Duuuval23bruh pick a different team 😂
Passed on so much and just watched our division rivals trade up and made some pretty good picks.. I hope the best.
Go jags
# Duvaaalll
This is the worst part 😢 No way we catch up the Texans after the free agency they had. Now I am afraid we are back at the bottom of the division and need to start all over again. Wasted TL window just because of an incompetent GM
I very much enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
We covered all bases this draft I'm proud of the front office 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿💪🏿🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆
😂😂😂😂 keep telling yourself that. I bet you were screaming the same crap last year. How’d that turn out?
Had to get BTJ, we cannot send Trevor out there with Gabe Davis and Christian Kirk. I wanted a corner but had to do it and he’s gonna be great
How’s Trevor going to get the ball to mighty BTJ if he’s on his back again? Get real. Trevor did just fine in 2022 with Zay, Kirk and MJJ lol. Tf are you talking about? BTJ wasn’t a need. OL and DB were needs that we passed on. With the way the the draft played out, we could have drafted Quinyon or Arnold in the first and taken AD Mitchell in the 2nd, who will have a better career. We also could have taken Kris Jenkins in the third instead of Maason Smith, and then taken Smith in the 4th lol.
Baalke once again, screwed up the draft.
Could have gotten A. Mitchell in the 2nd or Baker in the 3rd. There is not much difference between them and BTJ. DB was more important and the DBs we selected are three galaxies away from Q Mitchell.
When BTJ score over 12 TD next year and open the field wide out I'm check yall tempature then
Cant teach Speed yall. our Secondary is one our strongest units.
Who is excited about our great newly drafted 20 year old field goal kicker Cam Little?
I am given thag Joe Slye is trash
Fantastic Draft
@@123shoshanstop it… we’ve had historical bad drafts … we filled a lot of needs and completed our team
@@123shoshan based on?
Opportunity to pick up a 1st rounder in R2 wasted. Overdrafted almost every single player beyond R1. The draft is not terrible per se, the problem is that other teams elevated more than we did just like last year
@@Gmurkz based on FACTS lol. Our draft classes have been horrible since Baalke arrived and this year is no different.
Jacksonville Jaguars, You're amazing! Let's be friends and have fun together!
This has been our best draft in a while. I am very happy and confident going into next season! Hopefully we’ll be back in those playoff talks 👀
That’s not hard to do considering our draft classes have been atrocious. Btw, this class is a joke as well. Stop being so damn biased.
Playoffs should not be about hope. It should have been a sure thing last year while the 3 other teams were rebuilding with rookie QBs. Do you think the Lions and Bengals hope to be in the playoffs once they have taken an edge on their division rivals.
First time I seen Doug without a Jaguars shirt on.
Doug has a Jaguars logo on his right shirt sleeve. Go Jags! 🙂
@@madisonherrin5250 HAHA WOW I MISSED THAT
Jags are winning the super bowl in '24
I play for them flag
3rd day 🤔
Frank Gore Jr, Cody Schrader, Rice, Bethune,...🤔
Is it just me Doug isn’t happy he even shook his head a few times
I thought the same thing. These are Trent picks and Doug doesn’t look happy. During each interview, Trent looked happy while Doug didn’t.
If this class don't work out keep Doug get rid of Trent
I dought it won't tho In my opinion we got some dogs in this draft. I'm just mad at that kicker pick
@@kingtrel3717 I like the draft some what I like the kicker pic cuz Trevor Turnover can’t make it in the end zone
@4:11 [talking about picks from vikings] “maybe we will use them in a trade effort at some point, you never know” he’s definitely planning a trade, who we getting?
I probably a cb
No he will wait next year to pick some irrelevant players in R3 and R5 like he did with Lacey Miller Jeferson etc. More darts for Baalke = more practice squad players
Drafting from the SEC makes sense. You’re in JACKSONVILLE. You want players who can play in the Deep South and not have to acclimate much
Fans reaching really deep to try to justify poverty players
@@mtl24574 tbh I didn’t know the name of any player drafted after the 3rd round. I don’t pay attention to college much. I just thought the fact that they drafted all SEC players was neat. But that’s fine, have your fuckin opinion I guess
Keep trying to sell this class to yourself lol. Trent does this every year. He always drafts from big schools. The problem is that he is the worst at evaluating talent and is constantly reaching for players.
@@WendigoACTLyeah because acclimatation should be the #1 criterion when selecting a player. Like they come from a different planet lol. And SEC players all come from the South 😂
Another draft class that will have biased fans saying “this class is great” and then it turns into another dud when the season begins lol. Baalke is the absolute worst when it comes to evaluating talent. He is constantly reaching for players and it never works.
Only good thing about this draft is that it will finally get Trent canned after next season.
I liked our offensive picks but the fact that we did not take Rakestraw or Tampa is ridiculous. We’re thin af at outside CB and it did not have to be that way. And yeah Baalke reached like crazy on a few picks as he usually does but we know Khan doesn’t care enough to fire him.
Khan is a mastermind. And Balkee drafted a man named Patrick Willis before enough said. Trent bulked up our depth and at the same time drafted talent we can develop in spots that's thin because our cap gone be limited soon. B+ Draft in my opinion.
@@kingtrel3717 great he could have done that and gotten a better corner so we can win now while we have Trevor on his rookie deal. And great he hit on Willis but he has a bunch of misses here lol.
@@kingtrel3717😂yes Baalke is good at drafting LB. What a reach lol. How long ago was that? He also drafted AJ Jenkins? Any comment on that?
@@Jags2Richesyou forgot Ventrell Miller a 4th round pick who s gonna turn 30 this year and had yet to make an appearance
When jarian Johnson is our best corner yall better keep saying this class was a dud we got 4 players with extreme upside with high floors
@@123shoshan😂
I guess the other 31 teams failed to see that Jarian was the best CB in the class. Another Baalke s masterclass teaching other GMs lessons at every draft
Jacksonville will discover that they can have skilled players in every position but it ultimately comes down to the 'field general',...the QB.
You look at Russel Wilson (His first 3 years) Josh Allen. Mahomes. Jackson. They always run for the 1st down or big yardage...They'll do whatever it takes to win.
Today's QB has to be a runner....
Trevor had 300+ yards rushing lol
Anybody in these comments who has something negative to say can….
Can keep telling the truth. Stop being so damn biased and call it for what it is. The class sucked again
DTWD
Trent is known to 'reach' on traits players. However, you can't base your knowledge of a player's value on these tv analysts' opinion. It's hard to know values unless you watch the tape on 300+ players and build your own board. The first round or 2 is fairly easy to gauge, but once you get deeper in the draft, it becomes a game of educated guesses.
These TV analysts based their knowledge on all the scouting reports and analytics available... they eventually end up being in line with what best teams do. They are also often retired players or coaches so I do not know why you assume that they know less than Baalke, especially when the latter just pulled the worst draft class last year
@@mtl24574 the problem is, you can say the same exact things about any GM in the league. They all reach, they all miss. It’s an educated guess and everyone has their methods to the madness. Trent tends to look at traits and projects what the coaching staff can do to develop a player. I’m not saying last year’s class was good, it wasn’t. I thought he had taken strange and bigsby a round or 2 early, similar to Maason Smith this year. If they work out, it’s cool, if they don’t, the pitchforks come out.
Btw if all of these scouts, GMs and analysts were so good at their evaluations, we’d never have the Tom Bradys or Puka Nacuas of the world. Just sit back and see what we got.
@@kylerunyon5779 Trent is notorious for reaching badly.
@@kylerunyon5779 I disagree. I am not talking about being perfect, especially on day 3 it is unpredictable. I am talking about not fucking day 2 every single time. Most other GMs do not do that and it shows on the field
I LOVED our offensive picks but I was not a fan of our defensive draft. We just needed a really good outside corner and could have gotten one but never did bc Baalke is just weird like that. Dude just drafts random developmental reaches.
I guess we're banking on Darby and buster brown there. Not saying im that confident in that but it's my best guess.
@@Rtapley89 I mean Darby ain’t bad. Plus we could play Jones but he is more of a nickel and was a projected like 7th rounder so idk not looking good. Could have been so much better but Baalke refuses to make the obvious picks and Khan will not fire him.
Wasn't a big fan of the offensive lineman we got. He's not good at pass blocking.
@@NoHaBi02 he got traits tho and is a great run blocker. I have faith
You would lol. BTJ isn’t what all of you think he is.
A GM who does not even know how many picks he had. That says it all about his incompetence. Poor Doug who has to play along at each of this conferences is painful to watch
Give me a break
You are mad that the GM does not know how many picks he had left before day 3 and still does not know how many players he picked at the end of the draft 😂 you are the kind of fans who love mediocrity so of course you will be please with Baalke and the Jags records
No doubt. I thought the same thing. These were all Trent picks and Doug did not seem thrilled.
Trent why did you select this player?
"Great lenght, bench press, fast"
Do you ever consider football production?
"No as long as he gets long arms that s all good"
Average draft, passed up on a ton of really good players once again. This is the standard here obviously
What team pays you to scout?
Scouts make 40k a year no wonder we draft a running back every year. @@MrMcfly6
@@MrMcfly6he’s stating FACTS, kid. It happens every year.
What's better scenario overall for the team? Nate Wiggins at CB winning Defensive rookie of the year or Brian Thomas winning offensive rookie of the year? I was upset at first too but now everybody bout to eat because our speed.
@@Duuuval23 not tonight Chris. Lol he must be apart of the Mollett scouting network
T-Law is as good as gone. Wouldn’t blame him if he sits out this year. No reason to keep getting sacked back there for nothing. We aren’t going to beat Houston, and will probably be behind Indy now. I wish the ticket prices reflected the team ineptitude.
Why are you and so many other fans negative when the players haven’t even stepped on the field yet
@@Bulldogs08 it’s not negative, it’s reality. Our draft sucked, again.
great username.. you better just stay at home
🤡
@@maseay91 it’s a gamer tag from 20 years ago, when I was a stayathomedad. You know, parents choice and all.
Jaguars did nothing last year in the off-season to get us over 9-8 this year we did nothing adjacent, not resigning Darius Williams or Calvin Ridley set us back getting a aging center doesn't offset the negligible front office picks. It gives me the vibe of Eagles drafting Reagor when Justin Jefferson was on the board or unfortunately Walker over Hutch these guys have not learned they are not visionaries at player evaluation. Bright side incompetent people can get high paying positions that's great to get confirmation lol
Williams is not a scheme fit now that we are playing more man and had to save money
He did it in LA and was still our best weapon. What makes you think that any of the guy we drafted can do a better job than him? It was safer to keep him for his last year. We need the money next year. We could have also drafted CB of course but good ones not mediocre average of the pack CBs like we just did. See what the Lions did 😢
A bunch guys with no production but favorable traits haha we are the new Raiders.
Oh no, you’re right…
Exactly! He reaches for players and it never works. It’s amazing that he doesn’t realize drafting players because of traits doesn’t work.
@@Duuuval23 we took Walker over Hutchinson and never looked back hahaha
@@ll_kb2484 I’m torn on Travon, because I do like him and he’s only getting better. But yeah, Hutchinson was the sure fire can’t miss, and he blew that as well. People praise him for drafting Trevor, when that was a no brainer pick lol.
