      That question just gave away the secret: this guy is from deep in the future harvesting alien tech for his pedals. That's why he wasn't sure what year it was 🤣

    Everything these guys make is fascinating but the Motor Synth II is just staggering. I don't understand how a small company can keep taking these huge risks ... it seems like they must be "all in" on every single product.

    I recently got the Plus pedal from Gamechanger and it's all I hoped for. As someone who played piano before learning guitar, the idea of bringing sostenuto to the guitar was a concept I had wondered about, but never really thought the industry would be interested in doing. I'm glad to be proven wrong.

    Probably late to the party, but when they first demoed the Bigsby, I thought it was obviously cool but a little esoteric and figured the way an actual bar performs is a lot different than a pedal - plus I love the look of one on my guitars anyway.
    BUT when he demoed it here, I definitely heard b-bender/outright pedal steel, and THAT tips it over the top for me!
    Great. Just started to save up for the Light Spring Reverb, now this...

    Honestly, everything Gamechanger puts out is so fantastically unique, and, in my opinion, just sounds so unique as well. I would absolutely LOVE to have a motor synth, though I can't afford one, so for now, I'm happy with my Plasma pedal. As someone who was never into fuzz pedals, I use the Plasma with my synths, and come up with some crazy, fantastical sounds with it.

    I thought I had an original idea for a pedal. Nope. Already done. Mutil-band overdrive and distortion, so the key frequencies can be split and then clipped and EQ'ed to taste, because sometimes higher strings need a different tone to lower ones, e.g., thick and fat drive tones that sustain are great on higher strings, but get muddy on the lower ones (but getting those low strings tight and clear sounding can thin out the tone of the higher strings).

    These guys overcharge for everything they make ....that synth sounds like the toy laser guns ,with like 5 different noises, everyone had as a child. you are being scammed for gimmicks....also i bought 2 deusenberg les trems for (£98)each and 2 wilkinson roller bridges (£15 each) and 1 string butler for (£35) so I now have 2 bigsby style trem guitars and both hold tune really well..
    Didnt have to screw around with the nut as the string butler kept the string pull straight on the 3-a-side headstock.
    Or i could have spent 100 more and have the fake sounding bigsby pedal 😂

      You don’t understand and don’t have the imagination to use their stuff: Fine. But it is neither overpriced or a scam. Innovative, great sounding, unique, high build quality. I have had the Bigsby since release - it gives me a great sounding vibrato on all of my guitars - acoustic, electric, bass - and anything else I plug in. It does a great chorus, an auto vibrato, and can be used as an expression pedal when plugged into other effects - either simultaneously controlling both or just as an expression pedal. It’s fantastic value, and it’s great fun to use. But hey, call them scammers, overpriced, blah blah blah. 😂

    • @Tiptronics
      @Tiptronics Год назад +3

      Who’d have thunk, a boutique builder making exotic high r&d cost niche products would be expensive!
      What they do is an artform to themselves, your lack of appreciation doesn’t make it overcharging, many of us would happily pay the prices, especially as your hard earned money goes to support someone else with a dream and not just a soulless corporate machine.
