Hordy just lacks the general ambition on the planning side, don't think he'd be the one to plan ahead as an all powerful shark king, he'd be content with ruling over Fİshman Island and ravaging anything nearby. -Doflamingo 8/10 Highly inflated self image and seeing the world as his birthright, seeing it his destiny to rule over. He's just very forgiving to his subordinates unlike Ozai, valuing his "family" a lot without the twisted sense of honor. Also he knows his place as not the strongest so instead takes an indirect approach to ruling through smart use of politics and manipulation. Still his eventual plan would be acting on his birthright and seizing the world as his.
Let's be honest here, Funimation need to hire Lord Barry and his Assistant Tekking as the voice actor of Kurozumi Orochi because if not who would cast.
I feel like Aizen Souske could have been a benchmark vilian for a few Deo scales. Akainu is a man completly dediticated to a sense warped justice, willing to sacrifice everything to the alter of Absolute Justice. I'd give him the Tosen Kaname scale
Best example of a villain taking an “ideal” too far has definitely got to be the incredibly sadistic Alexander Anderson from Hellsing: Ultimate. A character that should be a paragon for good but uses the “absolute”, black and white sort of thinking Akainu does.
i recently got into Monster and wow... Johan will cause your jaw to drop to the floor even when he's not on screen he's deservedly at the top of best villains, Monster is amazing
My issue with Johan is that he's just kind of omnipotent and doesn't ever see consequences and theres really no reason why. He just does evil things and no one stops him. He's unstoppable for most of the story, but it doesn't really showcase why. 20th century boys was much better imo
@@CombatComics i haven't finished it so maybe I'll see your point a little later on but to me he feels like the consequence of the actions of those at 511 kinderheim. Like this unstoppable wave that no one can control, not exactly meant to appear human

Tekking, I can't recommend Monster enough. It's a phenomenal thriller series that keeps you on edge, and has some really great characters. It's 74 episodes and has a really great atmosphere at times, please watch it whenever you can, I think you would really like it.

It was stated why Crocodile wanted Pluton. He wanted to create a desert kingdom where Alabasta is with himself as king and needed Pluton in order to counter/protect himself against the World Government when they’d inevitably come after him for defecting from his warlord status.
Dio: so, you hated your father too? Doffy: tch, hell yeah, he gave up our status, got my mother sick, and we nearly got killed by his naivety, so I killed him for power! Dio: wow, at least he was kind, my dad was a drunk who beat me, so I poisoned him, and my foster father, and killed by foster brothers dog before turning into a vampire! Doffy: shit, and I thought my life was fucked up!
In comparison to a guy who experimented on his own child and pet to please the government. You really can’t compare this as this is two different types of evil. I’d give Morgan a 3/10 when compared to Vader.
I view it with the D&D morality spectrum Charloss-chaotic evil Doflamingo-lawful evil Doffy is evil but everything he did was for a specific reason charloss on the other hand just does whatever whenever for shits and giggles
Someone I knew was really into Monster. Definitely recommend. Also, it’s pronounced “Lee-bert”. In fact, on Derek Stephen Prince’s little talk show (currently on hiatus until most episodes are uploaded onto RUclips), he realized that he and the guest of the episode, Karen Strassman worked on that together.
The lack of a Griffith scale is highly disappointing 😤 BUT, funny you mention Gundam with Akainu, because I think Gihren Zabi would fit with him pretty well. Maybe Char with their sort of wavering belief in what they do, but they still do whatever they can for the "greater good" of the world
Blackbeard is very similar to griffith, they both wanted the ultimate power and was willing to betray and backstab everyone who cared about them and only thought of them as a means to an end, both want to rule and become the king and depending on if blackbeard actually believes himself to be a decendant of rocks they might both also believe themselves to be destined to rule as well as blackbeards will of D.
I think the creepiest moment with Doffy for me would be one point during his fight with Luffy, where he starts laughing but he’s not smiling, OH WAIT THERE’S THE SMILE IT’S A FEW SECONDS LATE. Really points to his insanity 🤣

I expect an apology video for over looking Foxy in my sub box before the week is out.
I would compare Akainu with light yagami. Maybe 8/10 because light kills everyone who doesn't abide to justice but also everyone who doesn't share his ideals.
Yeah I had the same thought. It seems a fitting character arc for him. Besides his first appearance he pretty much always inadvertently does something to help other people.
As a comparison to Akainu: Pain from Naruto. Pain was also chasing his ideal for a peaceful world with an iron fist with the Bijuu, and Akainu gives me a bit of those vibes. I would give Akainu a solid 8/10 Pains tho, because he has no "solution" to the state of the world here, he just wants to exterminate what he thinks is evil.
I thought of Light Yagami from Death Note for Akainu, even though it's not perfect... But Light saw the state of the world, and decided to change it, even if it meant killing cops and detectives too. They both have that "if I don't do it, no one will" mindset to their brutality.
Video Idea - Pretend your Law and switch all the battle skills of the SHs around with eachother... but make them make as much sense as possible (Example: Chopper is the Cyborg but is still the doctor, etc.)
@@robertnelson9599 But we saw it happen, though. The fruit remained within the body, but he kept his human intelligence. Let's assume, for the sake of making it work, that Law's personality shambles is a brain transplant. While Choppers fruit remains on his body, his modified brain is moved to a different one, because even in full reindeer form, Chopper's brain (and vocal chords/throat/etc) remains human, as he keeps the ability to speak and think analytically
Frieza wasn't doing it "for fun" while he certainly enjoyed it, he was doing it planet vegeta to stop a potential super sayian from ever happening, and on Namek it was to make sure Goku died, plus he didn't want anyone else being granted a wish and becoming imortal.
It's always funny how relative the morality of One Piece is. The Marines are a prime example of that since they're an antagonistic force to the main characters, but are viewed positively by the rest of the world even though they've done a bunch of horrible things under the jurisdiction of the World Government like Ohara or killing a bunch of pregnant women in the South Blue to wipe out Roger's unborn child. And yet they're made up of individuals who tow the line between good people and absolute monsters like Akainu. And then you have someone like Kid who has a reputation for slaughtering innocent civilians but isn't considered evil like Doflamingo.
I remember Kid once talked about just how corrupt the World Government is when he was on Sabaody. He pointed out that even the worst pirates were still honest about themselves, unlike the WG.
I think most of the common folk have never heard of most of the messed up things the WG/Marines have done. And if they have its 99% likely they heard about it in a form that made the WG seem like the good guys. Take Ohara, if the average citizen heard about it, they probably heard that the government took action against a group of terrorists trying to destroy the WG.
I was just listening to the Spotify version of this video to fall asleep but as soon as I heard Johan Liebert I had to come commenting that I can't believe he actually came up. This makes me so happy, monster is my absolute favorite anime
I actually think Caesar Clown can be compared to Shou Tucker they are both mad scientists who do horrible things in pursuit of knowledge but also enjoy doing those things. They also did these things on children
Bradley may be as violent as Akainu, but that's pretty much it. He was a character that hides his true intentions and Akainu has never done that. Akainu is also not undercover in the World Government, like Bradley woud be, at leat it has never been mentioned.

38:30 To me Ceazar is just the kind of guy who got in way over his head. He's a capable individual but he tried to play way too many players that were far bigger than him.
I think you forgot about some major villains and bad fathers such as Yujiro Hanma, Shinobu Sensui, Fire Lord Ozai, Megatron, Ging Freecss, Hisoka, Cell, Sōsuke Aizen, and One For All. These are some major bad guys that helped their franchises. Some are even worse than Dio.
Today is November 11th and that means it's Zoro's birthday. I wish a happy b-day to him because he's my favourite straw hat on the crew, and I think that Zoro's final awakening in the story will be an upgrade from sandai kitetsu to nidai kitetsu. Plus he awakened conqueror's haki during his battle with kaido which is great, and I think during the final part of the story Zoro will reveal his true demon form which has been foreshadowed for a long time.
@@leightonrud66 This. Btw, if Zoro is your favourite Strawhat on the crew, @Lamar Butler, who are your favourite Strawhat out of the crew, and your favourite not-Strawhat on the crew? The best I could think of is comparing Ceasar to Bondrewd from Made in Abyss. Twisted mad scientist doing inhumane experiments on children? Yeah that's them. He would only get like 2/10 Bondrewds though, that guy is HORRIFYING.
I feel like Doffy fighting while using the birdcage is going to look way more impressive after wano if kaido holding up onigshima is made to look like that much of a drain of stamina. Obviously Kaidos feat is more impressive but let's not forget all the people it took to slow down down the bird cage for even a second.
Doffy is definitely the most evil villain we've had in One Piece thus far in my opinion. I expect Blackbeard to surpass him later on in the story once we learn more about him.
I could see King Bradley from FMA Brotherhood as the comparison to Akainu with them both being apart of an organization and how no matter the cost Bradley would kill for Father’s wishes to come true
Dunno if it's worth talking about, but I believe some of the most evil things Doflamingo did are actually the aftermath of his defeat, specially related to Sugar's power: By turning someone into a toy, all memory people had about them vanish completely, and this might have had SO MANY chaotic and downright depressing situations that I think nobody ever talked about them exactly because of this. Ex: -A couple was so in love with each other nobody would deny they were perfect for each other. By the unluckiest of fates, one of them was turned into a toy. Being unable to tell their loved one, for TEN YEARS, they had to see another person get married to their human loved one and perhaps even had kids. How would the one with kids react remembering loving much more someone else? I believe'd they be torn apart now they have a family but wants desperately to be with the former toy. -What about the "broken toys"? Kyros stated that being a tin toy he was prompt to getting rusted or breaking. But how would that translate to when they turned back into human form? A plush toy with open couture and "leaking" cotton filling become a person with spilling guts? A toy without a button eye become literally eyeless? With tin crooked but still functional members become actually broken members? -And the worst of all: "dead" toys. As previously stated, one turned into a toy is wiped from everyone's memories. But what if they were killed/destroyed, or even killed themselves while toys? They turning back into human form is highly unlikely, otherwise this plan would have failed years ago. So it's likely they will NEVER be remembered even after Sugar got KOed. Picture the first example: unable to watch their loved one living a happy life with someone else, they throw themselves into the sea, letting the salt water slowly torn apart and decompose their toy bodies, while the married one live their live nonchalantly. Until the day of releasing and they don't remember their true love because "there isn't anyone to be remembered anymore". Or perhaps they DO remember and go search for them, but never in life finding them again because they no longer exists. Pick your "favorite" ending. I really don't think Oda will ever develop the darkest side of One Piece world, what Tenryubito do besides that was shown and "traumatized" Fisher Tiger, the Underworld Emperors and Broker daily lives, as it's clearly implied to be stuff worthy of appearing in Deep Web stories, but just thinking about all this, ironically, makes One Piece an amazing story with so much world building from the slightest implications of something else happening beneath the covers.
You have to absolutely, absolutely, absolutely read Naoki Urasawa's Monster! Or better yet, watch the anime, which is one of the rare gems of a perfect adaptation. Heck, the dub would be really recommended for this one, for it is masterfully done, and the setting warrants it. And best of all, the whole thing is available right here, on RUclips!! P.S.- Since you're familiar with Death Note, let me put it this way: Johan Liebert is NOTHING like any other dark villain in literature, more or less^^
Evil as in being pirates in general makes them bad but the world government system does bring it into a grey area but that's more so the revolutionary army. Crocodile doffy enel etc many of them are truly evil in thier actions especially just being pirates in general. Rob Lucci megallen more so grey just being told what to do. Anime wise most evil I see would be father from fullmetal alchemist as all the bloodshed is his fault so every evil action is his problem Fate stay night kirie zouken daynic are pretty evil using children to either survive or for thier plots as well as having no humanity Kayaba from Sao pretty much got away with it by dying as a coward. Naraku is pretty bad as he was obsessed so destoryed so much just to get the jewel tainted. Dio not justified his actions are not excused as my line is when someone is hurting those uninvolved they are the monster that hurt them.
Hey tekking love the video! Please get some rest! I know you’re still getting adjusted to your new place but you look tired 😪. Be sure to rest up please
When it comes to characters like Johan they would target the individuals and would tear them apart and make the feel true terror and despair while being manipulated by them Characters like Frieza are world conquering tyrants and would very rarely target an individual The reason why I say someone like Johan is more evil is because the people he could encounter wouldn’t always know he’s evil while freiza would proclaim that he is the emperor of the universe and any one that knows of him would fear him and entire planets and star systems know of him and would always have some fear in them while Johan would be the guy who would offer you wine and than would convince you to kill yourself while freiza would just blow you up.

Tosen was decided even if conflicted, Akainu isn't conflicted at all, Akainu 12/10 Tosen Kanames
Katakuri isn't EEEEEVIIIIILLLLLLL
He just wants to chill with his family (only some though, definitely not F L A M P É)
He did tell Luffy he would skewer him with his trident, and he murdered those chefs for seeing his mouth.

Don't forget he also wants to eat his donuts.
Johan will cause your jaw to drop to the floor even when he's not on screen
he's deservedly at the top of best villains, Monster is amazing
Very good
There's a reason Johan is known as the best animanga villain in the Seinen community he's amazing.
My issue with Johan is that he's just kind of omnipotent and doesn't ever see consequences and theres really no reason why. He just does evil things and no one stops him. He's unstoppable for most of the story, but it doesn't really showcase why.
20th century boys was much better imo
@@CombatComics i haven't finished it so maybe I'll see your point a little later on
but to me he feels like the consequence of the actions of those at 511 kinderheim. Like this unstoppable wave that no one can control, not exactly meant to appear human
He's probably much more evil than Dio.
Like...Jesus he gets close to people and seemingly love them and just ...wow.
I somehow see some of Kimblee from FMA in Lucci. The idea of having an itch to use/test their abilities in evil ways and feeling ecstasic when they do cause harm to others.
Tekking, I can't recommend Monster enough. It's a phenomenal thriller series that keeps you on edge, and has some really great characters. It's 74 episodes and has a really great atmosphere at times, please watch it whenever you can, I think you would really like it.
Tekking101: Feel like i'm forgetting One.
Foxy: I bet his saving me for the end, I wonder what rating he'll give me out of ten, 8? 9? maybe 10?, Guess I'll just wait and see ...
Tekking101: Oh yeah Orochi, i'll save him for the End.
Foxy: (hunched over on the ground like one of Perona's Hollows just went through him)
Good, Wapol is better than Foxy and I hate Wapol.
@@robertnelson9599 In all fairness, Long Ring Long Land in the manga is not a bad arc, and Foxy, while not memorable, is also not bad. In the anime you want to set your TV on fire while laughing maniacally as you see him burn
Doffy: shit, and I thought my life was fucked up!
doffy got traumatised while dio just "fuck you old man" vibe
Morgan: orders his subordinates that can’t beat a rubber man and a master swordsman to kill themselves
Tekking: 1/10 evil. 😝
He was hypnotized, we don't have any idea what he was like beforehand.
In comparison to a guy who experimented on his own child and pet to please the government. You really can’t compare this as this is two different types of evil. I’d give Morgan a 3/10 when compared to Vader.
@@cass01993 Morgan also used his own son as a human shield. At least 4/10 Shou Tuckers for his child abuse.
Morgans controls the media so ofc most evil,im talkin bout the real one🤣
“Wait, it’s all Dio?”
“Always has been”
I view it with the D&D morality spectrum
Charloss-chaotic evil
Doflamingo-lawful evil
Doffy is evil but everything he did was for a specific reason charloss on the other hand just does whatever whenever for shits and giggles
Interesting
Someone I knew was really into Monster. Definitely recommend. Also, it’s pronounced “Lee-bert”. In fact, on Derek Stephen Prince’s little talk show (currently on hiatus until most episodes are uploaded onto RUclips), he realized that he and the guest of the episode, Karen Strassman worked on that together.
The cast of The live action One Piece adaptation is revealed
Tekking: How evil are One Piece Villains
The lack of a Griffith scale is highly disappointing 😤
BUT, funny you mention Gundam with Akainu, because I think Gihren Zabi would fit with him pretty well.
First time seeing the new place. It looks incredible. Its amazing how far you've come. Keep up the awesome work.
I think the creepiest moment with Doffy for me would be one point during his fight with Luffy, where he starts laughing but he’s not smiling, OH WAIT THERE’S THE SMILE IT’S A FEW SECONDS LATE. Really points to his insanity 🤣
I’d like to think Eren Yeager walks into the villain party just like “shoot my bad, I got an invite to this address but it must be a mix up..” and everyone there is like “haha! The new guy’s hilarious, you’re definitely one of us Eren!”
Just like “haha! You murdered most of the world’s population, you’re DEFINITELY one of us! Hahaha!!”

How could you forget the most impactful, evil and demented villian ever!? Tekking, I come to you for insightful, entertaining and informative One Piece content but the oversight of the greatest villian in all of anime is unforgivable. I expect an apology video for over looking Foxy in my sub box before the week is out.
Foxy would get about a Doofenshmirtz ranking
Foxy
Foxy's goal is to see the One Piece franchise burn, that's more evil han any character ever...
I would compare Akainu with light yagami. Maybe 8/10 because light kills everyone who doesn't abide to justice but also everyone who doesn't share his ideals.
Calling it, at some point Buggy will somehow straight up save Shanks
Yeah I had the same thought. It seems a fitting character arc for him. Besides his first appearance he pretty much always inadvertently does something to help other people.
As a comparison to Akainu: Pain from Naruto.
Pain was also chasing his ideal for a peaceful world with an iron fist with the Bijuu, and Akainu gives me a bit of those vibes.
I would give Akainu a solid 8/10 Pains tho, because he has no "solution" to the state of the world here, he just wants to exterminate what he thinks is evil.
I was going to say Obito or Madara
i thought of Wrath ( Bradley ) from Fullmetal Alchmist Brotherhood, I give him a 8/10 Wrath
@@swordeye8313 yeah that is also a fair comparison.
Danzo had his own justice and was like that
But that IS a solution. If you kill all evil, the world is at peace. I thought of Lelouch, though
Chopper is hard to do because he is just a reindeer without his devil fruit.
@@robertnelson9599 I agree definitely a challenge
He pointed out that even the worst pirates were still honest about themselves, unlike the WG.
we have Coby then we have Bastardinu
I feel like the Marines and WG are how most of the world view America.
I find it weird how our boi hasn't heard of Monster, considering it's one of the most popular and praised Manga ever
No idea about tekking but im going to assume he's mostly into shounen and not really senin or that kind of genre in anime/manga

Tekking has literally been a friend of mine for like 3 years
when you explained Hordy's hatred i thought of Gabi from AOT when her character arc started
It's been a hot minute since I've watched your content tbh, let myself slip on dozens of chapters of one piece. Glad to see you doing well.
Tekking channeling his inner Animak with his “MACHIAVELLIAN” assessment
I actually think Caesar Clown can be compared to Shou Tucker they are both mad scientists who do horrible things in pursuit of knowledge but also enjoy doing those things.
They also did these things on children
I feel like Grand Fuhrer King Bradley from FMA: Brotherhood would be a good comparison for Akainu
Bradley may be as violent as Akainu, but that's pretty much it. He was a character that hides his true intentions and Akainu has never done that. Akainu is also not undercover in the World Government, like Bradley woud be, at leat it has never been mentioned.
i would love for you to check out monster!
it is so nice see a japanese story taking place in europe, especially when a significant part takes place where i spend most of my time growing up
but yes the story goes deep and it would definitely give you some food for thought
Just figured this, while not too much in common, you could say rob lucci and griffith have a bit in common, both look pretty suave and have a bit of charisma towards their peers, and they also killed their own comrades to reach their goals
The way you say evil cracks me up everytime. Thank you for all the fun videos! Really makes my weeks better

To me Ceazar is just the kind of guy who got in way over his head.
Ging Freecss 🤣🤣
Who on that list are worse than Dio?
The way you described Caesar Clown and his Relationship with Vegapunk made me think of Mayuri Kurotsuchi and his relationship with Kisuke Urahara.
Zoro is not a demon. Swords are an upgrade kinda, but zoros will and ability to use swords is what makes em strong.
He will probably be able to use more asura techniques, not just a single attack. Probably maintain it and/or add conquerors haki to it.
@@leightonrud66 This. Btw, if Zoro is your favourite Strawhat on the crew, @Lamar Butler, who are your favourite Strawhat out of the crew, and your favourite not-Strawhat on the crew? Because AFAIK, to be a Strawhat means to be on the crew. Unless you mean "straw hat" as you typed it, meaning Zoro is a hat made of straw, and you prefer him over the one Luffy got from Shanks

It seems everytime there is another Tekking video his walls are even further covered.
37:51 Awesome Futurama/Bender reference. It was subtle so I almost missed it.
As someone who has seen both the anime and manga of Monster, i can honestly say that johan liebert and shou tucker would become best friends at that party. Thank you tekking for creating a pair that can only be truly made in the deepest parts of hell.😂🤣
Kinda disappointed that Caesar wasn't been compared with Bondrewd, but well...
For Akainu i would se Danzo from Naruto as a similar villain. With his everything for the villiage and how he run the anbu.
Thank you for a great video guys
Im saddened by the lack of Yujiro in this video
Yujiro less evil and more of the world's biggest dick.
Damn tekking can pull those glasses off really good
Doffy is definitely the most evil villain we've had in One Piece thus far in my opinion. I expect Blackbeard to surpass him later on in the story once we learn more about him.
I could see King Bradley from FMA Brotherhood as the comparison to Akainu with them both being apart of an organization and how no matter the cost Bradley would kill for Father’s wishes to come true
Watch we sleeping on buggy and he's gonna be powerful as fuck XD
Dunno if it's worth talking about, but I believe some of the most evil things Doflamingo did are actually the aftermath of his defeat, specially related to Sugar's power:
By turning someone into a toy, all memory people had about them vanish completely, and this might have had SO MANY chaotic and downright depressing situations that I think nobody ever talked about them exactly because of this. Ex:
-A couple was so in love with each other nobody would deny they were perfect for each other.
The fact that people are gushing, makes me wanna avoid him though.

Love your videos! Keep up the good work these make my day!!
Anime wise most evil I see would be father from fullmetal alchemist as all the bloodshed is his fault so every evil action is his problem
Fate stay night kirie zouken daynic are pretty evil using children to either survive or for thier plots as well as having no humanity
Kayaba from Sao pretty much got away with it by dying as a coward.
Naraku is pretty bad as he was obsessed so destoryed so much just to get the jewel tainted.
Dio not justified his actions are not excused as my line is when someone is hurting those uninvolved they are the monster that hurt them.
For the Akainu comparison I think Funny Valentine from Part 7 of JoJo would be fitting considering his position.

Hey tekking love the video!
Please get some rest! I know you’re still getting adjusted to your new place but you look tired 😪. Be sure to rest up please
When it comes to characters like Johan they would target the individuals and would tear them apart and make the feel true terror and despair while being manipulated by them
Characters like Frieza are world conquering tyrants and would very rarely target an individual
The reason why I say someone like Johan is more evil is because the people he could encounter wouldn’t always know he’s evil while freiza would proclaim that he is the emperor of the universe and any one that knows of him would fear him and entire planets and star systems know of him and would always have some fear in them while Johan would be the guy who would offer you wine and than would convince you to kill yourself while freiza would just blow you up.
I think it would be really funny, if you had conversations with your editor as the running gag/series. (And yes, I know you are your own editor, that’s what I think will be the funny part)
Akainu makes me think of Donzo from Naruto. They both run their respective organizations with an iron first, and go to incredibly extreme lengths to genuinely protect something. There’s a lot more nuisances too, like they both have used brute force as well as underhanded deception all justified by their absolute convictions. Donzo you can argue is far less of an impactful or “main” villain but to me they are just very similar.
The way you just mimicked Orochi's voice, it made him sound like the man with a small mustache XD
Johan Liebert is definitely the best villian in animanga!
I usually listen to these more than I watched and when I noticed tekking wearing the glasses I snorted so fucking hard my brain almost shot out my nose.
