This is where George shines. His freestyle jams. The guys oozes Blues and Rock in a Progressive yet very Rooted way. And Larry per usual blows my mind.
So, I grew up a Lynch fan but took lessons from Larry from 14-16 years old. Larry was my guy. Taught me more than just guitar. He was a mentor. To see these guys jamming together makes my heart swell.
Lynch=the most abstract player in rock..just when i start to think why did he just play that and think it felt strange....he does something that instantly answers..its a good thing.
Dude I’ve always like Larry. He doesn’t get enough credit. Always thought he was an amazing player. Truthfully his first stuff was ok… but it seems like he ditched the whole 80’s shredder and just went back to the roots, making every note count. His new stuff is RAW and real. Just amazing. Hilarious how you have one guy up there who knows theory REALLY well, and then 1 who had no idea what he’s playing. 🤣 and he never plays the same thing twice. Listen to Lynch’s own songs. Never the same, and the solos are always different. Just an wild interesting dude!
This show was great George was running late and Eddie Truck was supposed to introduce George when he came out!! George came out and started playing. Eddie walked off stage... great experience the Dallas International guitar festival was!!!
Random stop never heard of them but know great guitar players when I hear them......holy macaroni these guys can play! And of course they got a fantastic rhythm section
Larry runs through a Fractal pedal board into the PA. The guy filming is too close to the stage to pick it up. Probably going right over his head. George's amp is likely right behind him and close to the camera. ✌
This is why you never take a Ax8 to a jam session! lol “can you hear me now?” Nope! I hate my Ax8 live for this very reason! It’s either too low or too loud! 😳

Imagine George playing with Jeff Beck that would be abstract art to die for.
I was literally thinking the same thing.

Lynch's feeling is that as long as you end on the right note everything in between is golden.
George is unorthodox and can pull some really unpredictable exceptionally tasteful licks...
George Lynch is the very embodiment of evolution.
LARRY IS A GREAT PLAYER. and has been for a long time. I like that Geoege is making him smile.
That's some killer improvisation!
2 favorites right here. I almost went to this.
Wow Larry Mitchell I hadn't heard from this guy for a while but I remember his LP from the 90s was pretty amazing
Best duo I've heard in a very long time🤙 would be a very interesting project!
Anyone else whoever grew up with Dokken and 80's metal ever believe they would see George Lynch playing the blues on a vintage Les Paul gold top?
There’s a live vid of him doing Mr Scary on a 57 Les Paul Custom. 🤙🏼
Thank you sooooo much for posting this!!
Two of my all time favorites jamming away.
A shame they didn’t turn Larry up more...
Yes and drums are tinny.
Excellent performance and I guess acoustics are challenging.
I agree. I could barely hear Larry. There were issues with the sound.
Larry's gonna need a bigger amp
That's gotta be the best tone I've ever heard from George. Seems natural playing an LP.
Yes it should never leave his hands.

Love Larry… He’s got the groove…. He doesn’t try to make the music about himself.. He knows how to compliment the other musicians.
George Lynch has redefined cool so many times, at this point, I think the english language has even given up. "Do as you must...." lol
Spot On ! Epic comment. Love em' like a Brotha.
INDEED 💯🤘🎸🔥
AHHH!!! It's great to have LIVE Music again!!
George has a unique style, Larry is quite a smooth player ! Interesting jam.
Wow, 2 of my favorite players, amazing!

GL on another level.
TOP LEVEL 💯🤘🎸🔥
Lynch is outstanding 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Good one
Larry's mix on stage might have been different from what we're hearing. I never heard of Larry but he's really good.
George is the top gun now
King George 🤘💯
Great Jam!!!!
just a few guys having a good time noodling around....nothing special but getting back into the live music scene is special enough.....
Very cool!
I like the braid!
Random stop never heard of them but know great guitar players when I hear them......holy macaroni these guys can play! And of course they got a fantastic rhythm section
George Lynch from Band Dokken well known axe slayer from 80'sRock era.
Everybody knows George.
You probably heard him a thousand times but didn't know you were hearing him. Check out George in KXM

I want that gold top
It's the fingers and the heart you want, my friend! I do too!
Mr. Scary channels the late EVH from 4:40 for a while..
Was Eric Gales here to show them how to play?
Love Knaggs guitars.
Larry also played great but was too low in the mix
♥♥♥
4:50, my god
Cool vamp
George’s performance is creative, and so denies
predestined harmony and has good sounds of humbucker type.
🔥🔥🤘🏼🔥🔥
Ni quien quiera mirarle el trasero sr. Lynch. Saludos!.
Pretty easy to know who is playing without seeing who it is. At least with George. The way he bends and note choices.
3:45 nice flame
Eric Clapton should invite Lynch to play CrossRoads 🎸🎶
You cant hear Larrys guitar real good when he's soloing, great jam though
