I have the Otr700 and love it. Cheap, reliable and works great. I haul hazmat mid west. I’d be lost without it. I bought an otr800 and after 3 hours of updates and navigation not aligned on road I was on, I swapped it back for my Otr700. Loves did me good by letting me have my already updated Otr700 back. I love this thing so much I find it hard to drive without it on my left windshield view in any truck now. Garmin Otr700 was a life changer for me. Hope new’er models hold up to this one on the future when mine poops out. The more expensive otr800 couldn’t even hold up to it

Got one yesterday the one with the cam. This thing gets pretty warm even when not plugged in.

I can’t figure out how to take out the part when I have a phone in process and it comes up on the right side of the screen. The X on there doesn’t let me remove it unless I hang up
Are they the same size? I want to get the RAM mount cradle for the 710, but they only show it for the 700
Would love to see someone do an actual review of the device performance and reliability.
The differences in specs can be found on almost any site that sells the units.
Can’t seem to find the format for inputting GPS coordinates from Google Maps. Example 29.151333, -98.589491. I tapped on the various formats for coordinates, but none seem to be in this format. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help. On Garmin DEZL OTR 700

Im new truck driver in canada which one is good 700 vs 710 some ppl saying that 700 has hang problems but right now im getting 700 in 450 dollars is that fine please reply
How do I turn on a satellite map on the 710? I only have a diagram showing :(
so overall which one is better ? I just got into trucking and really hesating between a X00 or X10 model
They will both do the job. I personally would get the 710 because I like the "Newest" version of things but if your not all about that then the 700 is really good as well.
Does this have alerts such as downgrade ahead, stateline, weigh station ahead etc

They are both really good, cant go wrong with either one. I personally enjoy the updated graphics of the 710.

The 700 will be cheaper.
The 700 was better- I should have gotten the rand ! If I had known garmin screwed it up

What better about it?
No. It always navigates you to the minor roads, alleys, neighborhood street, only to find a faster route. Doesn’t make sense
And it tells you to make u turns where it’s obviously impossible
