Anthony is easily the funniest paramotor content creator. And, no question, the sexiest. Notice how he did not show himself flying or running? It's because nobody looks sexy doing this.

    Awesome and clear steps! Nice.
One thing to add -- Aborting takeoff is ALWAYS an option. There is a natural tendency to believe that you can overcome a red light in any of those steps you outlined and recover it. While this is true for more experienced pilots, pilots should ALWAYS have the mantra "I always have the option to abort."
So many broken lines and broken props and injured humans and damaged wings could be avoided if the pilot would have aborted when too many takeoff checklist items were in the red. I have 220+ flights, and I made the mistake of not aborting when I should have and it cost me a pretty penny.
You can ALWAYS abort a takeoff. Also NEVER STOP FORWARD RUNNING PROGRESS, even if you are killing the motor and aborting. Bring the wing down behind you in a controlled manner.

Awesome addition! 💯 I have personally paid the price for not aborting a launch. Broken parts and pretty hurt. Thanks for adding this!!!

@@AnthonyVella I still had more in my luck bucket when I launched what should have been an abort. Cleared obstacles and climbed out safe but it was really sketch!

Great way to explain the process for new pilots - I would have preferred that explaination when I was training. Love the green light - all steps need to be in the green! You're doing a great thing out there teaching new pilots! Keep up the great work brother.

In my case, I have to disagree. Take-off was quite easy every time. Landing properly was much harder. It took over a year before I found out my brakes were tied improperly. Manual said they would come from the factory tied for low-hook in. They were in the low-hook in "position", but their length was set for high hook in. Result was I never had any flare authority.

  • @ressikman

Thanks for the tips Anthony. Question... How do you know if you have enough airspeed and can start to apply brakes? Is it when your feet start to lift?

Thats being a pro when you save the camera at ALL costs. How long do you think theyll build enough homes around that LZ that someone starts to complain and we get to see another RUclips Karen episode? On another note, ive got this camera that wont let you run out of the frame. You can tell it to follow you, in post, and you dont have to buy a buddy behind the camera a beer for helping. Or a coffee if they dont like beer if thats possible.
