What also would be nice as a clip, if you'll be able/willing to, is the sort/types/mods in Thailand they have in their tow truck category. :)
Mostlythe peoples know tow trucks as based on regular semi or mid size work trucks in the U.S. or Europe but in Thailand it's very interesting they often convert regular PichUps like
the Toyota Hilux or Isuzu D-Max into these 3.5t tow trucks with these flat bed platforms, that you can let down to the ground completely, for picking up even low done cars with ease. :D

The Citroen was a ZX, shared a platform with the Peugeot 306. The quickest they made was a 2.0gti, but that looks like a replica of the WRC homologation one, they never made the cut *but* they did do a mad F2 fwd rallycar called a 'maxi'

I can’t watch this. Just landed back in the US last week. Thai wife, all her family are in Bangkok, we go every year, sometimes twice a year for a month. Always wanted to go to a meet but we’re so busy with family and travel. Man I would have loved to go, lol.

Damn i drove a Citröen ZX Volcano as a track official in The Rally, many years ago, back then they were some bad ass cars, they were used a lot in rally and track racing back in the days :) .

For red popup toyota is ae92 corolla trueno. And the 1st gen city is actually 2nd gen jdm city. The 1st gen is more boxy.

@@Grumpy_Stiltskin most of the ones I’ve seen have just been beat to hell and/or wrecked. They weren’t an expensive car so lots of people bought them and didn’t take care of them. Not to mention crappy late 80’s and early 90’s build quality and poor materials quality. Every now and then I see a super sharp well maintained one, but it’s more and more rare. Thats one of the reasons I’d love to see one in a Thai style build. Skylines are cool and all, but after you see a couple hundred in the same parking lot they kinda get old. Other than me just liking Daytona’s, it’d be cool just for the sake of some diversity.
daytona didnt get a model for thailland but they did make ford lazer for austilira maybe check there
I wished you got some more footage of those cb accords. Those guys build them super clean over in thailand compared to here in the US.

1:14 That is a mid 90s Ford Laser. In Taiwan, it's a Ford Aztec. Mazda powered, same as the U.S market Fiestas and Festivas.

1.22 Ford Laser Lynx. They also come as a Mazda Familia Neo. They're a JDM/Australasia thing, used to get a lot of them in NZ

Cant get the SR20DET in the states, whole engine has to be imported. You can turbo the us stock 2.4L for some power, but cant handle much boost.

Have you ever done a vid of cars that are 'collectible' In thailand? So Ive brought in a huge chunk of cash to Thailand to avoid future tax issues, in order to diversify my investments, I was thinking of buying a few cars that may (or may not) increase in value over 10/15 years.
Im not really a car guy so whether they go fast or slow is irrelevant, its more about buying cars and just parking them up in my shed for 10/15 years and then selling if and when I need cash.

Most are priced at 50k-120k. Condition 1. Most are taken from finished racing cars. As far as I know😢🎉
