Make sure u add a watermark though. In case someone takes ur track. Its happened to me! Also, send a mp3, not a 24 bit wave file! Go into software and add metadata. U can add metadata without it affecting the track.

manuyel96 you want to make sure that your track sounds the best, and it’s up to par with releases in the label you are sending demos for. If they want the track, they might ask to master it again or not. You just want to make sure your track sounds fire 🔥 so they get blown away

Montana Beats I think that you should send them a track that is not public. Labels want to feel special. You should send full tracks and allow them to download. If they download it’s a good sign. @@montanabeats8041 the 3 best ones you have and set them up in the emial like this: #1 the best of the 3, #2 the second best and so on. Also Start the link for it to sound at the key part of the track. The best part of the track. Don't make them wait for the GOAT. Sacrifice you GOAT.
Max 3llis I would get it mastered. You want to send the best sounding track for them to listen to it. If they like it and pick it up they might want to get it re mastered if it’s not to par to what they are putting out. First impressions count.

I was wanting to know if you can do it the old fashion way and write a note and mail a CD demo to labels..you know through the mail? Do people still do that? Is that a thing??
To be honest. If you send me a CD chances are that I don’t have anything in my house to listen to it lol. Not being negative, but it would better to send a card with a code to your music online. It’s hard since people are always on the move and CD players even on laptops don’t exist anymore.
