@temiruya Thank you, you're really kind, but I'm just a beginner still :) Well, I knew udu, but only from videos, a haven't played one personally. Yet.. :) It's principle is similiar to hang drum's. I've tried that once. Amazing instrument!! :)
I ay this on my six hole. Not sure if I have all the notes right but I play it fairly well. It sounds wonderful how you play it though. It almost puts me to shame. But I'll get there someday. And I hope to one day own a hind ocarina too.
+temiruya I've mused about getting a hind double inline for years, but I think this video just talked me into getting one. It sounds so wonderful I have a question; how do you get such a nice recording quality?
+Goatmon I recorded this ocarina in my sitting room. I stopped the sources of noise as much as possible, still the sound of the recorded ocarina was noisy. For me, the powerful noise reduction software is more important than the outstanding recorder. As noise reduction software, I find iZotopeRX useful. Although it is very expensive, it cleans the recorded sound perfectly.
+Goatmon because of these comments I listened again and I still love it. Question though. I can hardly play on my normal ceramic ocarina because it hurts my dogs ears. Even though it is a tenor ocarina. Will a woodwn instrument have a softer sound? Enough so not to hurt the ears of my dog maybe? I'd love to know because I plan to keep practicing but because of this little predicament I hardly do. Even when I am outside and he is inside or vice versa he yaps at me to shut up.

物置で埃をかぶっていた普通のオカリナを
引っ張り出して遊んでいます。
木製のオカリナは初めて見ましたが
とても暖かくてやさしい音色ですね
聞いてて心が安らいで行って
とても心地よかったです。
4年くらいに見たのにタイトル忘れてて
ちょくちょく思い出しては探しを繰り返し

南米の民族音楽っぽい。
自然の残酷さの中に、生き物を育む一縷の温みを感じますね。

コメントありがとう。オカリナはとにかく、閉じた容器に吹口を付けて指穴を開けたら何でもオカリナになります。木材でもオカリナを作れるし、竹筒を使ったオカリナも見たことがあります。
私も木製とこの形に驚きました。

いいんじゃないでしょうか。せっかくもっている楽器です。吹かないともったいないです。特にオカリナは小さいので、鞄に入れてどこでも持ち歩けますし。
デュエットオカリナの一人合奏は大インパクトです。
今年の年末までにはまだまだ時間がありますよ。一曲くらいマスターしてぜひ宴会席をわかせてください。

すべての笛は「この指孔を押さえたらこの音が出る」という仕組みで、それはふつうのオカリナでも、２つのオカリナが１つになったオカリナでも、同じです。デュエットオカリナの場合は「この指孔を押さえた」というときに２つの音が鳴るという、それだけのことです。
結局、演奏者としては、指孔を開けたりふさいだりしているだけの話です。ですから、傍で見ているほど難しいことをしているわけではないのです。
でも初めて見るとびっくりしますよね。

オカリナの和音きれいですねぇ。見ていて欲しくなりました。
オカリナの音が好きで単音の陶器製オカリナはいくつか持ってますが、こんなん聞いたら買いたくなります。
あと、やっぱりウドゥは合いますね。この曲、かなりいろんな国の民俗楽器と相性がいいかと思います。

MandL186さんの演奏動画を拝見しました。サンポーニャとかパンフルートなどを演奏されるのですね。パンフルートによる営業のテーマはなかなか期待できます。ぜひ完成させてください。デュエットオカリナは観客が大仰に驚いてくれる割のいい楽器です。「吹き回しが異なる所」など、そんな難しいことはしていませんよ。おそらく聞いている側が勝手に難しく考えているだけだと思います。

ケーナ吹いてらしたんですね。言われて見ればビブラートのかけ方とかウドゥのリズム感とかシンパシーを感じます。日本人の感性でケーナ吹くとああいうゆったりと歌い上げるようなビブラートになりますよね。
ボリビア式の震えるようなアタックの強い吹き方ももちろん好きですが、やっぱり私も歌うように吹いちゃいます。

list0erineさんの動画も観ましたよ。フォルクローレ風味の『営業のテーマ』はいい感じでした。デュエットオカリナは、曲を二重奏にアレンジするのが難しいのであって、出来上がってしまった曲を演奏することそれ自体は、大して難しくないです。だから、ふつうのオカリナが吹ける人なら吹けるはずなのです。
ちなみにデュエットオカリナの一人合奏がなんだかケーナみたいに聞こえるのは、私が元はケーナの人だから。ロス・インカス最高！

冒頭に入るブルガリアンヴォイスはＣＤの音です。
最初は「あーーーー」という感じに簡単にハモってくれれば御の字のつもりで探しましたら、ほとんど１コーラスぴったりの曲があったので、そのまま貼りつけました。違和感なく聞こえるように、テープシミュレータで音をばりばりにした後、ローパスフィルタで音質をぼかしつつリバーブを思いっきりかけて、遠くのどこからか聞こえてくるような雰囲気にしました。
アーストーンフルート工房は、もうインディアンフルートを製作しません。残念です。ダブルフルートはいまだにときどき問い合わせが来ますから、そのうち別の工房に製作を依頼してみます。

ケーナは小学校から高校くらいまで吹いていましたが、今では２オクターブ目が怪しいです。
楽器屋を始めていろんな笛を吹く必要に迫られて、それで今ではなんの笛だか分からない演奏スタイルになってしまいました。
