    • @sirbolzenwerfer5069
      @sirbolzenwerfer5069 2 года назад

      In my opinion this janitor has not really a healthy common sense with a good healthy mind! Opening a window, while a small little 4 and 1/2 year old kid is running there around. What was he thinking just only let the the nanny know that he opened the window to get fresh air and at the same moment the little boy was running out of that widow and fell to his death!
      What a confusing bad tragedy! If it was not real and so worse, what happened here, it could have be part of a roudrunner and cojote movie! But it wasn't and a real bad tragedy! But would the boy really understand what could happen, if he was running around there in the room, while a window was opened?
      I don't think that a boy with 4 and 1/2 years knows the real danger of a opened window at 54th floor! That he would fall out of that building if he would running out that opened window!
      Maybee with 6 or 7 years. It depends of how to teach a young kid the dangerous and fatal things that could happen around our live!
      My Nephew knows athe danger in life and understand, that you can get killed if things go wrong about you. Ok he is 10 years old. The differents between a 5 year and a 10 year old kid is there.
      I had a bad accident with my bycicle when i was a 10 year old kid and i understand the danger when is saw my broken bones in my hands! It was a feeling that i never forget so fast. So it feels like i realy could die in this situation...
      So this feeling was just there, and never was there before! You understand the dangerous situations after another situation! More and more you understand!
      Sorry for this wallpaper of writing stuff! Please don't take offense!!! :-)))

      Why would a janitor be concerned about getting fresh air into an apartment. Normally the occupants would open a window, get a fan etc. Something is very off with this story.

    • @stacyhannigan
      @stacyhannigan 5 месяцев назад +1

      The window was opened a little bit, but LACKED A SAFETY GUARD. While I place sole blame on the janitor, it was later found to be the "fault" of the apartment owner, because it's the apartment owners sole responsibility to install windows guards. Thus, the janitor, unfortunately, was not found liable. The janitor DID inform the nanny that he opened the windows for fresh air, but right when he informed her, the little boy ran past the nanny and slipped out the window at the same time while the conversations were taking place. (The little boy was playing hide and seek. and he hid behind a curtain next to the window, not realizing the window was open). He leaned too far on the glass, and slipped out....

    I find it pathetic that it took Eric Clapton 4 years to "understand what it means to have a child and be a father" I mean, the dude never even had his son on his own until the day before his death? That's ridiculous.
    It took him 4 years to finally discover what it meant to be a father? The child was 4 years old for crying out loud. And what 4-year-old can write a letter? I call BS.
    This is a tragedy all right, but it's a tragedy because it's another story about a father who abandoned their child the first four years of his life, and an irresponsible mother who pushed her parental responsibilities off onto a nanny and a maid. 🤦‍♀️

    Im just wondering how this poor little boy got up on the window. Im thinking the kind of window he fell out of was a ceiling to floor window? And why was there no balcony outside of the room?

    Its too bad the window didnt have a screen. Perhaps the janitor was cleaning the window and thats why it was open. Maybe he didnt know little boy was running and playing inside.

      Unfortunatley no because NYC law at that time mandated that the tenant of the apartment was responsible for installing a guard on the window. I think the janitor should have been sued so that makes its all the more tragic. The boys mother I beleive tried to sue, but to no avail. The case was ruled a tragic accident. Foolish janitor!

      Every child deserves a parent, but not every parent deserves a child.

    Son’s death March 20, 1991. In esoteric numerology this is broken down as
    MM + DD + YY + YY
    03 + 20 + 19 + 91 = 133
    This is further reduced to 13 + 3 = 16
    16 is the number of the Tower card in the major arcana of the tarot… coincidence?
