  • Today we get a closer look at what the Toxic morph looks like in the Western Hognose snake!
    They show off some nice black eyes, nice white and grey colors, lack of red/yellow colors, and an adorable purple tongue!

    Where can I get this adorable snake? It's so beautiful, white all over and this snake is actually chill.

      Lightning should be producing some babies for me next year, otherwise, I would recommend trying to find a breeder online and getting one shipped.

    So this is different than a ghost?

    • @SnakefulGrace
      @SnakefulGrace  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes! Both a ghost and a toxic have Axanthic, but the difference is the second gene they also show. The ghost is a combo between axanthic and hypo while the toxic is a combo between axanthic and toffee belly. :)

    What is the average price of this snake morph when it is a baby?

    • @SnakefulGrace
      @SnakefulGrace  3 года назад

      Toxics usually go for around 600-800 as babies.

    what dose it look like if toxic combine with albino?

    • @SnakefulGrace
      @SnakefulGrace  3 года назад

      When you add albino to toxic it creates what is called an Atoxic. The eyes would definitely be red, it would still be a white snake (for the most part) but it would have a slight pink tint. It honestly looks a little more like a snow than a toxic at that point.

    What if we combine it with snow?

    • @SnakefulGrace
      @SnakefulGrace  2 года назад

      If you add albino into the combo and get all 3 genes to express (Albino, axanthic, and toffeebelly), you create what is called an Atoxic. They are very slightly pinker and have red eyes instead of black ones.

    What are the odds when you breed an axanthic and toffee belly to get a toxic?

    • @SnakefulGrace
      @SnakefulGrace  2 года назад +1

      Zero if they are not het for the other trait. Both parents have to carry both genes (visual or het) to produce a toxic. If you just pair a toffee with an axanthic that have no hets, you will get all normals that are het for toffee and axanthic (so, in other words, they are het toxic). If you pair a toffeebelly het axanthic to an axanthic het toffeebelly, there is a 25% chance you get a toxic. If you have normals that are het toxic, then there is a 6% chance of producing a toxic.
