You might not see this, but, you should try to have a steady expansion around 30% troops to start slowly reducing to 10%
You don't have to be stronger to attack and take land as far as I can tell, maybe you should attack people stronger and hope that others join in on that too. That should work especially when bots border your enemy

There's actually a way to get a unicode character that looks like an "o" but its different than the letter o's unicode character. So you can name yourself "Bot " by using the special character as the o and it wont get filtered

The life lesson that I learnt from this game is that where you start off does have an overarching impact but comes nowhere near close to how luck as the result of other people's actions and decisions matters.

1. I always click these videos hoping to see myself but it never happens. :(
2. Team battles are its own thing. I remebmer as a beginner I won a battle royale against 100+ players 2 times before I was on the winning team in the first battle for the first time. You would think the odds heavily favour the latter but I was always on the wrong team somehow.
3. You seem to not understand this game very well always wondering "how is this guy so strong?". The more resources you have, the quicker you gain more resources (up to a certain point limited by your size) and you always spend a lot early game so it's natural that some players will be much stronger than you, sometimes even if they have less territory. You get resources based on interest from how much resources you currently have- if you send resources to attack, they don't contribute to the resource growth. Expanding as fast as possible isn't usually the most efficient way to play early game. If you save up some resources in the first minute, you'll be actually able to catch up and overtake others later on, because you'll have like 3 or 4 times more resources for the same size. I know that my explanation is not very clear but I don't know how to explain it better in English.

Once you are stuck in an area surrounded by allies sending resources to the people who need it really helps, having an entire other nation supporting you while you are in a relatively even battle can mean alot.

Bro Drew, there is a stratergy I use to survive in world maps, europe maps, america maps etc. When I get a coastline, I quickly attack as many small islands as possible so if I lose my mainland, I still live on as a bunch of islands. Feel free to try this technique.

I've never understood how the attacks work in this game. I was once a state with the military of 250kand got defeated by a guy who's army was 30k large. He just kept attacking me and grew in size super fast.

at the start you want to expand just before you get the territory income, to increase it and not attack otherwise, because at the start you get like 7% interest per tick. that's how that one guy had so many troops so fast while not being that big. When I found that out I one like half my games.

Rules:
1. Play the Americas map single player on Harder/Hardest difficulty
2. Start on the Chilean coast
3. You can only attack free land and enemies touching the Pacific coast
4. If you cut off an enemies coast, they are no longer on the coast and cannot be attacked.
