I don't feel sorry for their grandchildren and great grandchildren because they like all the rest of them are enjoying generational wealth stolen from black people. They were evil murdered our ancestors and the Bible says that the sins of the father shall be delivered on the second and third generation. These murders knew their wrong; they have a nature of evil and violence beyond one's imagination.

    • @Macbeth99
      @Macbeth99 Год назад +5

@@novathewomanking9675 I agree, jealousy had nothing to do with it. They did it because they could. They knew without doubt, that despite evidence, the hand picked all white all male jury would never convict them.
It was pure hate, fear and ignorance.
I don't like to have hate; but this makes me so angry. I'm just as angry about Carolyn Bryant as the men that committed the kidnapping and the murder.
What really was her damage, truly ?
In Mississippi in 1955, she would have been only too aware of the consequences that her lies would bring.
I think Mrs. Till is one of the bravest people that I have ever heard of. It's instinctive for a parent to protect their child, even in death. So to allow the world to her her beloved son in that atrocious state, was incredibly courageous.
The only solace that consoles me, is that one day Carolyn Bryant and the 4 murderers will have to answer to the judge and jury who really matters. God will judge them.

      You are correct!
It was hatred, racism, evilness, demonic, the way they kidnapped and killed Emitt Till! I still think though, those evil men and their evil wives, were disturbed in their wicked lives. They were alcoholics, strong drinkers of alcohol. That's why I think they were also jealous of the young, handsome, boy, that had a good life to live. So because of their evilness in their life, they made sure the teenage boy did not live, to enjoy his life.

What hurts me as a person is that they swept that warrant under the rug and then Carolyn Bryant was never served with that arrest warrant back in 1955. This shows me that Mississippi doesn't believe in justice for victims of brutal murders and their families. And to hear that Mississippi refused to still have that warrant served on her for his death and kidnapping. But yet she can live for decades by renewing either her state ID or driver's license and they did not catch her all those years. That also shows how the justice system is dirty and nasty. My heart goes out to Emmit Till's entire family. Also it hurts me to know that justice was never served upon her for lying on him. If I lived back then they would not have taken that boy out of that house even if they had guns. I would have put on a fight and told them they are not going to take him anywhere especially if I have a feeling to believe of knowing what I felt that they were going to plan to do to him. I would have stepped in and stopped it. Even though it would be dangerous for me to do so but I believe in their is no change without risk and would be willing to risk protecting him from that happening.

If the government can posthumously pardon / acquit someone, they can just as easily posthumously charge and convict them. On a related note, did the FBI even bother to check to see if there wasn't anyone else still alive who was involved?

That's exactly what he said. And still I said " are u proud of your granddaddy?!" I felt so numb by what he said fact or not. There's no way anyone could do such a horrifying thing. Especially to a child that had no idea of what he did. He was just a kid. Nothing he did was justified enough to even do all that to him. Maybe a scary scolding and a slap ..maybe even send him home. But to kidnap him..beat him to deaths door just to shoot him and tie a 70lbs metal fan to his neck wit barbed wire?! That's just over kill and insane. Clearly he wasn't aware to the southern way of life. Im 1st generation born in the north like Emmett but I knew every time we went down south I KNEW the code. Even in 2023 I knew wassup when I go to the south. Whoever was with Emmett that had more knowledge of how shxt was down there should have made sure Emmett didn't step outta line.

I would of gotten myself in a lot of trouble and probably killed for standing up tall against this type of monstrosity! How many times do you hear these people say, person, son, boy, man and human being? Obviously they knew back in those days, we all bleed red! We all are human beings! I truly hate when people are mistreated for anything and always have, even as a kid! My eyes see life, human beings and that will never change!

Yes, it is accurate according to the transcript, and according to the testimony. However, this is probably 40 pages of a 367 page trial transcript.
And, some of it deserves some explanation to understand the implications.
ALL of Carolyn Bryant's testimony was deemed by the judge as irrelevant, immaterial, and hearsay. In other words, it was a lie. He threw it out. And the jury was not present to hear it.
      ________________________
Now, the significance of this is the press did not print it. And for 50 years, very few people, outside the Wright/Till family, knew anything about any sexual assault inside the store.
The story, which resounded through the decades, was: *Emmett Till was lynched because he whistled at a white woman.*
Not because he sexually assaulted her.
      _______________________
Through the decades the lynch mob was portrayed as vicious cruel murderers who lynched a child over an insignificant infraction.
And it was never a part of accepted historical record that Bryant and Milam killed the "big black beast" to prevent other pure white women from being mauled by a rapist.

Good evening Mr. Brown. You said; "Emmitt till to be taken into the hands of those who would kill him."
There is a little more to it. The lynch mob in Mose Wright's driveway that early morning consisted of 6 grown men. 2 of them were known killers. 4 had military training, 1 was special forces.
      JW Milam was 34, 6'2" 235 pounds. Roy Bryant was 24, 6' 200 pounds.
They had 2 automatic 1911 .45. Which, if fully loaded, they carried 16 rounds. One man had a shot gun.
Their truck was full of gas. They had a flashlight and it was 2:30 in the morning.
      ___________________________________
Mose Wright was the only adult in the house. He was 64, 5'3" and a preacher. There were no lights in the house, no phone, and his truck sat in the driveway with no gas.
Mose had a shotgun in the closet. (Probably a single shot) And a box of birdshot in his dresser drawer.
As you can see, Mose Wright was extremely out-gunned, out manned, and outwitted.

    • @marymartindale884

Moses Wright was trying to protect HIS KIDS. I would never wished what happened to Emmett to happen to anyone, but his whole family could've been killed, including Emmett if he had tried to move toward a weapon. Moses Wright wasn't armed, the white men were armed. The only people that did evil in this case are the white pricks that tortured and killed a little boy.

@@thatonekid9754 Good evening thatonekid. You said; He had a whole shotgun in the house.
It depends upon whether you are recounting what his son, Simeon has said for 40 years. Or you are recounting what you saw on last years Hollywood movie, "Till"
Simeon Wright said that Mose Wright had a shotgun in one closet and a box of birdshot in a drawer.
A Single shot shotgun loaded with birdshot in another room is no defense against two men standing in front of you with two .45 auto pistols with 7 rounds each
You said' "He wouldn't let them take one of his sons"
Again, you are quoting the movie. There was never an incident where Mamie saw a shotgun over the mantle in Mose Wright's house.
And there was never an interaction between Mamie and Mose where Mamie accused Mose of deciding who would die. One of Mose's sons or Emmett.
      That simply never happened.
      __________________________
Your problem is that you are judging based upon 21st century urban standards against a man who was born under Jim Crow, lived under Jim Crow and died under Jim Crow.
IF you had put a fully automatic gun in Mose Wright's hands filled with 100 rounds, Mose would not have fired that gun. And you do not understand that.
