I like sailing this one, This is also what I believe I did some of my time in while getting my small boat sailing merit badge
I have one and its a great boat. Super easy and quick to set up and the furling sail is great on windy days. A shame Hobie doesn't make them anymore.
It is a shame. Great beach boats.
You just can't have too many toys! Looks like you'll get your money's worth out of this little vessel and then some!👍👍👍
Wouldn't be hard to cover the cost of this one with fun credits.
@@travelbywater9378 nice review! Any foils besides the rudder or is it just the hulls that get you up wind?
@@danoyes1 just the rudder for foils. The hulls and sail plan to get up wind. Same as Hobie 16s and Prindle 16s. No boards to trash when beaching! 😎
i own this boat for 5 years, enjoy so much
We really like ours too.
I am looking to buy one of these, where did you get it and how much?
I got it in Quebec. The guy didn't want anything for it. It was free. Just wanted me to come and get it.
@@travelbywater9378 HaHa …. I will pay you double what you paid for it……. OK, triple ? 🙃
I will pay 4 times 😊
Looks like fun - memories of sailing the cat at Punta Cana
i have the bravo and i love it
It's a good beach boat, no doubt.
I want to get one learned to sail on one at scouts
They are really fun boats and sail pretty well. I found mine used on FB marketplace.
Length of cockpit? Can a 6' person lay down in the cockpit and take a rest?
I can lay down and take a rest. I am about 5ft9. I think 6 ft should be fine, feet might overhang a bit.
@@travelbywater9378 Thanks for letting me know about the length of the cockpit.Another question about sailing with 2 people: I'm 195 pounds and my wife is 140, can the boat sail with that much weight plus a cooler full of drinks?
@@leonz6429 yes, we are heavier than you and have sailed with our 2 kids. Performance decreases as weight increases, but it will sail fine.
