Excellent video. Thanks it worked. When you are at the swivel placement stage, there is a tab. Push one side into place first then place your thumb on the tab and force it down. Takes patience and a little swearing but you will snap it in. Very stupid Bose design.
Thanks man. Lucky for me I just had screws connecting the speaker. Your video showed me the basics and I was able to fix in less than 10 minutes. Thanks again!
Just successfully repaired this problem on my cube speakers. Informative video. The glue was very hard to separate on one particular side of my top speaker. Use a box cutter/hobby knife and be very careful not to slice your hands.
Quick terminology tip: It’s a flat-head screwdriver 🪛 not a “negative or minus” screwdriver (the other type, with the +, is called a Phillips-head screwdriver) . And the knife is called a box-cutter or a snap-off knife, not a paper-cutter. 👍
I had the same issue and I drilled a small, 1/8 - 3/16 hole in the back of the top cube between the design and used a long pick to depress the clip back into place and filled the hole with 2-part epoxy.. Speaker works fine and the filled hole is unnoticeable. Need to be careful not to put much pressure on the drill bit as it could go threw and damage the insides. Have a stop on the bit will help.
I literally pushed it down, nothing else it will snap in although make sure that you have the clips positioned to ensure they are ready to be pushed in

I am glad it helped

are all the cube speakers the same power? I would like to replace 1 redline acoustimass with another one that is a bit different in shape
I am not aware if they are the same power, sorry about that :)
I cannot clamp them together. It is too tight. Do you have any suggestions?
you need to apply force, it will snap in. remember, it came out that way.

I have the same issue, but even after aligning and applying force i am unable to snap those back . You should have shown how you have applied force.

Thanks a lot, Kasim ! I was able to finally push the clip, I had to keep the speaker on a table and I pushed it down standing up.
@@NishantSingh-hl5vs i am glad it worked out !!
