Great video Paul! Very realistic utility poles! Showcase miniatures makes breakers they are listed under the foundry section. That is if you get tired of building those breakers yourself

Thank you! Good to know about the breakers. Wish I knew earlier! I just checked out their website - awesome detail parts. I could have used their transformers, breakers, etc. I’ll definitely be looking at their stuff for future products. Here’s a link to their breakers in case anyone wants them…

A great video, thank-you. As you know my layout is a yard and last mile suburban switching along urban streets, so I've got to make a ton of utility poles! Even the small yard hut in the prototype Midway Yard has overhead power feeding it and the adjacent light tower. I think this method of construction makes for great little details that add a really nice finishing touch.

Glad you liked it and thank you for watching and for your continued support of the channel! Makes sense that your layout would need poles. Let me know if you have questions if you decide to build these. Let’s get some more video of your layout on RUclips!

@@HartfordWhaler I suck at editing videos - I mean, really suck! I'm happy to do some raw footage of techniques like burying track for example, if you want to share something, but otherwise the further I stay away from videos the kinder it will be for all concerned!

For sure send me video. We could post as a Subscriber Series. I’m not a great editor, but can pull it together!!

0:45 . Paul, dunno if you know about the KDW material handler in HO. Although its pretty big machine for that real estate. Kibri makes a smaller Liebherr 934 material handler, kit #11282. Just a thought.

Small pole needs a street light.
