Just got mine a couple days ago and wanted to give a strong recommendation for this laptop. It's a solid build, sturdy display. Keyboard feels excellent. 120-140 fps in MW2 multiplayer, Max settings 90-160+ fps in Starfield; 75-100 in New Atlantis (w/ FG, DLSS Quality) Max settings I should also add that some games allow the GPU to pull a continuous 135-141 Watts! You can't beat this deal, it's a no brainer.
4070@@B3trayPl3ys I should also add that the overclocking is out of this world - I am stable at +250 mhz on the core, only found one game that had trouble with it (spiderman) and even then no blue screen, just a glitch.
I had the Prometheus but returned it due to battery life. It was amazing. I decided to give this one a go barebones with the 4070. I can't wait to try it!!
Thanks for the video. Wish you guys would partner up with other TechTubers. Not much out there for your products. I have a Mech-15 from a few years back. Great laptop. Your brand needs more visibility.
I have the old rp-15 and like it a lot, looking to upgrade though because the hardware is a little dated. I have some questions: The old laptop had a metal screen casing and metal keyboard chassis while the hardware chassis was plastic. On the product description for the g2 it just says plastic chassis so have the metal frame pieces from the old rp-15 been changed to plastic? Second, has anyone played helldivers 2 on it yet? What were your temps and fps?
Definitely at the bottom. If thermal performance is your number one goal, set the first two power limits to 25w and max the third. This Ryzen mobile chip is a little beast right around there 👍
Yes, I found these modes, but they all charge up to 100% and do not keep the battery charge around 60%, I set it to Stationary Mod for now@@BobOfAllTrades
in full honesty, how much battery life should I expect running matlab and vscode with brightness at 50%. I wanna get something that has good battery life since i'm a student.
Pretty sure they said data only sadly. Eluktronics always has solid port variety, but they sometimes lag behind the latest port technology/functionality.
This model is a better quality screen & bigger battery away from being the clear choice in its category. Especially if you're going with one of their barebones options.
@@BobOfAllTradeshey can you tell me where the air intake vent is, wanna know if it's at the bottom or sides cause I'm thinking of getting a cooling pad
@@readyplayer9477 it’s not an on and off thing. Hybrid mode allows the graphics cards to switch between each other and DGPU forces the Nvidia graphics card to work.

Additionally, the office mode is more than adequate unless you have a game which requires more wattage to the cpu.
thanks man@@aaronscottmatthews7883
At 1080p?
Looks very clean, even better than the g1! The price you guys are offering is insane too.

Good experience thus far? How is the build quality of the case?
@@flyingphoenix113pretty good so far. Build is great. Gets hot but of course any gaming laptop does. You’ll enjoy it!
I just ordered one. My 1st Eluktronics laptop is 6 years old and still running with no issues.
i still have my eluktronics from 2018 and it still runs strong, definitely gonna upgrade soon!
great laptop, please do a full review, for example, a webcam for conferences and the quality of the microphone are important to me
its good to see you Bob!

Hey I'd like to know where the air intake is cause I bought a 4060 version and I'm thinking about getting a cooling pad

Does the laptop have a conversion mode to save the battery? For example, charge it up to 60%...
There’s three different battery modes within the Eluktronics Control Center 👍

What is the response time on this screen with gaming?

Can anyone tell me what the p3 gamut percentage is on the panel?
USB-C supports display port?
Pretty sure they said data only sadly. Eluktronics always has solid port variety, but they sometimes lag behind the latest port technology/functionality.
How is the screen compared to the offerings from Nitro 5 and LOQ series?
QHD 100% sRGB at 350 nits 👍

does it have a 16:9 or 16:10 screen?
16:9
@@Destractoid thanks
Does RP-15 support MUX in BIOS?
It sure does! I think I mentioned that too. dGPU and MShybrid are your two options.
@@BobOfAllTradeshey can you tell me where the air intake vent is, wanna know if it's at the bottom or sides cause I'm thinking of getting a cooling pad
@@readyplayer9477 Bottom. Cooling pad not necessary. Tune the first two power limits to 25w and max out the last.
