My heart goes out to you. Thank you so much for sharing your story. You have no idea how much it helps. I can relate to you in so many ways and hearing your story has helped me make some hard and overwhelming decisions about treating my AS.
Thank you for sharing. I was diagnosed with this as well. Mine was so bad that it destroyed my fallopian tubes. My doctor is now preparing me for IVF. #praying for success
Hi how are you going? I hope well 🌻 Can I ask - how is IVF helpful when it’s to do with the uterine lining? Isn’t IVF for people to who have ovulation issues? Thanks.
This video has been super helpful to me, I’ve been diagnosed of the AM syndrome as well, just taking it 1 day at a time with hopes that someday soon, I’ll be able to carry my own baby. Thanks for sharing your story dear
As an Asherman's syndrome sufferer myself, I really don't believe it's as rare as doctors believe. It took me two years to get diagnosed, even though it fit the bill, just because multiple doctors wouldn't test for it on the claim it was "so rare". No doubt, so many go undiagnosed for a long time (or ever) and that adds to this false belief. This has added dramatically to my secondary infertility as it wasn't diagnosed or treated until I was 39. I'm still trying at 41. Doctors need to start believing women.
@@bongekadlakavu3658 according to your problem to be honest. Asherman by itself was solved with a procedure, a PRP treatment and the implantation, around 4-5k €, but the extractions were quite costly, around 25k € due to several problems. There some good clinics in Europe that will offer you a solution.
Hi Laura im having the same pelvic pain and no menses, I had 6th d&c's due to endometrial polyps and the last d&c one affected my mens.. did you happen to drink duphaston and no menses still? Did u try IVF even with no menses? Was conceiving successful? Im worried that my frozen embryos will go to waste if I dont get a period :(

@@mayakrana Hi Mayak how are you? How is the hysteroscopy going on? Did you do the stomach ultrasound or was it transvaginal ultrasound, to find out that you have AS
is it possible having an AS, to have biochemical pregnancies? and how is it possible for a woman with a thin lining to get pregnant? i've been told that it's impossible. and my lining doesn;t get thick with anything (drugs, pills, progesterone or oestrogens), not even after 4 hysteroscopies in the last year.
Doctor I need your help. I have blocked cervix due to gauze that was left in me for weeks, and operative histeroscopy was done on me with ballin fixed up till now after 3 months no period, what could be the issue
Good Day Doctor. I had Hysteroscopy for Asherman Syndrome 2months ago.(13/6/2023) My symtoms was scanty and dark periods following a myomectomy which was done 12 months ago (3/6/2022). The problem was, I am finding it difficult to concieve. After the surgery. 1)A ballon stent was inserted in my uterus for 2 weeks. 2)I was given oral contraceptive pills to take for 3months. Fortunately my next period was normal(the right period color and the heavier periods). My question is when should i start TTC? I am 32years old with secondary infertility.
Dr.Palter, is there a way i could be in contact with this woman? i also have AS and thin lining. i would really like to discuss the protocol she followed with my fertility specialist here in Ottawa (Canada). Thank you.
May I know how will I be able to find out if I have Asherman syndrome? What kind of test I need? I had 6d&c due to polyps. Was about to do IVF but my doctor just retrieved my eggs, have an embryo now and my doctor told me that I need to wait for my period first. Im afraid I wont get my period anymore and suspecting AM syndrome.. Any advise is appreciated..

It's possible. An experienced AS dr needs to remove scars using microscissors to give best shot at regaining fertility. Sorry you were misinformed.
